TRUNK FEATURES 1. Automatic Drop Out: If C.O. line call is disconnected before answering, the PABX system will automatically release all associated circuits Seized by the CO line for call connection.

2. 3. 4.

Emergency Transfer: Pre-determined CO lines and station are directly connected in the event of power or system failure. DTMF/DP Trunk assignment: Both PB (DTMF) and DP CO lines can be accommodated in the system. DTMF/DP conversion: The system converts dial signals received from the station to that of the CO line. For example, DP signal received will be converted to PB (DTMF) signal for PB CO line or tie line and vice versa. Direct-in-line (DIL): Specific incoming CO line or RD tie line is directly converted to the specific station. Simplified Direct Inward Dialling (DID): When a call is terminated at a special central office line (DID line), the system responds with alone or a message asking the caller to dial to the station number. After receiving the (PB signal) station number, the system will connect the call through. Assignment of CO access code to trunk routes: By setting up more than one CO trunk special code, the trunk routes can be assigned matched with the originating special codes. Trunk Route Advance (Alternative routing): When all the CO lines of a selected route are busy, an alternate route can be selected. Connected Restriction Class: Each station is assigned with a class of service restricting or allowing origination of international subscriber calls. Toll restriction: Station assigned from class 3 to 6 is restricted from originating TOLL calls. Area code restriction: Station assigned to class 2 is allowed to call certain predetermined toll areas. Class of service change: The class of service of station is determined in the connection restriction table. But a different table can be made flexible and can be changed by the special number. Special local number restriction: The originating call to special local numbers can be restricted. Station class, change with password: Dialling a password from a station can change the station service class. Night console position: Incoming calls to the ATT console will be forwarded to a night console when a special key (e.g. - NT key) is set. Night Transfer: Incoming calls to the ATT can be forwarded to the TAFAS system by setting a specific code. Message restriction: The call charge details of outgoing calls made by the station on user and the operator are printed out.

Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR): Details of O/G calls made by the station user can be printed out. International direct dialling call detail recording: Details of outgoing international subscriber calls made by station user and the operator are printed out. Long time recording: Call details (date, period, change etc.) Tie Trunk Message Restriction: The charge of originating calls to the tie line is recorded for each originating line (station and ATT) at the charge index of PBX office by the (KARLSON charging method) and the information is printed out in case of need. Tie trunk message detail recording: The information (date, calling time, charge etc) of long calls, exceeding a pre-determined standard calling time or standard charge is automatically recorded. Tenant service: The CO lines and the tie lines can be shared by different tenants for each station group. Tenant merging: Different incoming tenant groups can be merged at a specific selected time to enable common answering. Trunk Answer From Any Station (TAFAS): In this mode, any station belonging to the same incoming tenant group can pick up incoming CO (or RD tie line) calls ringing at the tone ringer. TAFAS/ATT console switching: For each tenant the switch between ATT and TAFAS answering mode for incoming CO line, and RD tie line can be freely selected. TAFAS/ATT console mixed use: A mixture of answering system (TAFAS and ATT) for incoming CO line and RD tie line calls can be selected for the each tenant group. Tie Trunk Access: Tie lines used for direct station calls can be accommodated and connection can be made between the tie line and station lines and between two tie lines. Tie Trunk Route Advance: When all the tie lines in a selected route are busy an alternate re-programmed route will be seized to connect to the required destination. Tandem Tie Trunk Switching: Tie lines in tandem can be accessed to connect a call, from one destination to another. Tie Trunk All Busy Indication: When all the tie trunks of a selected group are busy the indicator in the CO indication of ATT will turn ON. Tie Trunk Route Restriction for Tandem Switching: Incoming tie routes can be restricted or allowed to seize outgoing tie routes. Tie Trunk Restriction For CO call transfer: Each tie line route can be restricted or allowed to transfer tie line originating call connected with the CO line. Digital Tie Trunk Access: Digital tie line for direct connection between digital tie line to the station line or ATT or to the analog tie line or between two digital lines can be accommodated.

FAX Abbreviated Dialling: Faxes accommodated in different PBXs can be connected by tie line network and dialling abbreviated number. Connection Route Appointed (For tie trunk tandem connection): Even when termination call takes the same incoming route outgoing trunk group different in the same originating the special code can be selected according to the incoming trunk group. Tie Trunk Message Registration (Each Tie Trunk Route): At the time of tandem private line switching or connection of tie trunk calls to a subscriber accommodated in the office, the charge is calculated classified by incoming routes and termination office codes and can be output if necessary. Tie Trunk Origination Restriction For Individual Tenant: The tie trunks are divided into groups according to the originating tenants and originating connection group can be created. Outgoing Trunk Camp-On: Even if all outgoing trunks are busy the station user can be connected, to a trunk whenever it becomes idle, by registering the camp on service previously from the idle station. This enables the station user, who has registered this service, to be called and connected an idle trunk by his off hook operation. Last Number Redial: The last dialled number of each station user is stored in memory and a station user can instruct the system to out dial the number by dialling the last number redial code (CO call and Tie Call). Transfer of Incoming Calls to the Trunk: Incoming calls at the master office can be transferred through tie lines to the station user in the slave office. Trunk to Trunk Connection: Enables the other party on a C.O trunk or a tie line to be transferred to another trunk or tie line. MFC Signalling: The four group MFC register signal can be controlled. Forward signal GP A and GP B. Backward signal GP A and GP B. CEPT Trunk Administration: The 2Mb digital, interface (CEPT) is accommodated and incoming and outgoing calls from and to outside lines are allowed. MFC Direct Inward Dialling: The DID termination from the C.O. trunk in the WC system can be performed. MFC Outward Dialling: Calls can be originated to the C.O. trunk in the WC signalling system. MFC Signalling Override: When the call from the office operator is terminated and the terminating station is busy, the interruption into the call can be made. CEPT Trunks relating methods: The CEPT trunk contains the following three releasing Methods: Calling subscriber control method b) Called subscriber control method c) Delayed forced method -- In this method the line is disconnected immediately when either of the subscriber goes on-hook or disconnected in the certain timing (20 Secs at standard).

Recall from CEPT Trunk: Even when the terminal connected to the office operator is disconnected in the CEPT trunk, the terminal can be recalled from the office side. DID by LD type of Trunk: The DID subscriber number is received by the DP signal or PB signal from the LD type of trunk, and calls can be terminated to the DID station. CEPT Trunk Malicious Call Trace: When a call from the CEPT trunk is 'terminated at the extension registered in advance by the maintenance' console, the termination information is immediately typed out.
