-HOW TO-

NOTE: We strongly recommend using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox

1 - Power cycle the UT 2 - Connect a CPE to the UT with a direct Ethernet cable 3 - Open a browser and type the address http://192.168.100.1/install 4 - Select one of the first four spot beams in order to let the UT scanning the adjacent beams (please note, do NOT select the fifth grey spot beam - custom installation).

5 - Click the right arrow at the bottom right corner of the page

6 If in the above page you see the Current Rx SNR freezed at -3 dB click the left arrow to go back and select a different spot beam, otherwise proceed by clicking the right arrow. NOTE: Make sure that you click the right arrow on this page once you verified that the Current Rx SNR is not freezed at -3 dB 7 After proceeding with the above steps, enter the Modem/IFL Cable Status page by clicking on HOME icon.

8 On the above page, the first icon is initially yellow, while the second and the third should be green 9 -The four satellites at the top right corner of the page are scanning all the four colors.

10 Now click on MODEM icon.

11- Under the Modem State section, the modem Status should show Scanning when the color of the satellites is changing. 12 - The modem is trying to synchronize on one of the adjacent beams. Once the color of the satellite on the upper right corner is fixed, it means that the modem selected a beam successfully. The status should pass from Scanning to Synching/Ranging/Ranged/Network Entry/DHCP/Online. 13 - If the UT fails to go on-line, insert again the URL: http://192.168.100.1/install and proceed from point #4 selecting a different spot beam (color). 14 - If all the four spot beams have been tried, there is no coverage at the moment and the UT will keep scanning until the carrier is back.
