0 Created By Blue Banana & Ultra SsS Defensive Players ================= The problem with attacks on moonbase is that you can't always see when and where attacks are coming from. You can be attacked when you are not even logged onto MXit. Lots of players have questio ned this but unfortunately seems here to stay. The best defense for your base are moonbuggies. Besides that, you should do the following: - Upgrade your Shield to Level 10 - Upgrade your Bunker to Level 20 - Upgrade moonbuggies' defense to Level 20 A strong defense is always hard to beat and players who see they can't breach yo ur defenses will give up soon enough. How to have a strong defensive force -----------------------------------Moonbuggies are the key here, and lots of them. Here's how to have a flexible mo onbuggy army: Build up your buggies at one base only. I recommend you choose your main base fo r this task. When you have bult your maximum allowed number of buggies without your Helium going into the nagati ves, reinforce your next base with all of the buggies. Now begin from scrath, bulding up buggies at your main base. When you've reached your maximum, reinforce them at your next base. The reason for using this method is simple: You can quickly send back all your b uggies to your main base if you have an incoming attack. Also, if YOU have to attack, you can reinforce all your built buggies at your main base and have a large attack force. For example. 1600 buggies at each base. You have four bases. This adds up to 6400 possible moonbuggies to be used for a single attack. * This also constitutes to if you have an attack at your main base. 6400 buggies can be used for this defen se. * See Valueable Notes On Attacking for more information. Attacking players ================= Attacking players are knows as raiders on moonbase. They constantly attack bases to support their huge armies' helium that is in the negatives. The best attacking units are gunships. they are fast and carry lots of resources. To imprive your attacking capabilities, make sure you do the followin

g: - Upgrade your gunships' attack to level 20 - Upgrade your gunships' speed to level 20 How to have a strong attack force =-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Method 1: Gunships -----------------As said before, gunships are mainly used for attack runs. There is no real secre t formula here for a strong attacking force here. Just build about 3500 gunships at your base and use all of them for each attack. Keep in mind, and this is extremely important, you have to keep attacking in order to ma ke sure helium doesn't doesn't reach zero. If your helium reaches zero, buldings in your base will start to col lapse. Method 2: Laser Cannons ----------------------You should NEVER attack with Laser Cannons alone. They won't be as succesful as one would think. A player once attacked me with 70 laser connons. all of them were destroyed by 600 moon buggie s. Method 3: Laser Cannons & Gunships ---------------------------------This configuration is very lethal. Because there are Laser cannons attacking wit h the gunships, the laser cannons are able to do damage unlike the previous method. Valueable Notes On Attacking =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=1. Doing one large attack instead of a few smaller ones is always more effective . Here's an example: Scenarion 1: Say you have 2000 Gunships and you use all of these in a single att ack on a base that has 400 moon buggies. Scenarion 2: Say you have 2000 gunships but attack with 200 at a time agianst a base that has 400 moon buggies. The attack configuration in Secenario 1 is going to be far more succesful than t hat of Scenario 2. 2. Checking to see what forces are at an enemy base: Send one moon buggy or one gunship to attack the base in question. This will reveal what foces the player h as at the base and also keep your valueable main attack force safe without sendi ng them against an unknown danger. Psychological Warfare ===================== This is something which can lead a player to great success in moonbase. You have

to be strong and have nerves of steel in order to implement these strategies. 1. A most basic example of psychological warfare this: A player sends an attack your way. You leave a small force there, about 600 buggies which he will easily destroy. When he as done so, he may think you are very weak and he has jut destr oyed your army at one of your bases. When he attacks you again (at the same base or another one), send lots of moonbuggies to your base to defend. He might send fewer forces this time, thinking you have no real defences at this base. He wil l be surprised to see you have thousands of moonbuggies defending this base. His attack force might just also be destroyed in this surprise. He will from then o n, think twice about attacking you. The key about this is Incertainty. He won't really know what will happen when he attacks you. 2. A lesser known tactic used by players is War of Nerves. This is very simple. Constantly attack a player, day and night. Harras him. Make sure he isn't able t o build up a defense or attack force. This will after a while destroy the player s will to fight back. 3. Though this next tactic isn't really a means of warfare, it might just save y ou. As you begin to build up your brand new moonbase, make friends with the play ers around to you. This will do two things: - Have allies close - Kepp these players from attacking you Something this simple will go a long way to having a better moonbase experience far off into the future.
