Collec;on
inspired
by
peacock
the
colors
and
the
texture
has
been
inspired
from
the
white
and
the
blue
peacock
Wearable garment inspired by peacock. The main feature of the garment is that there is no visible side seam in the skirt part because of the layering done.
Statement garment inspired by peacock. This garment is made by hand; no machines used. It has peacock feathers arranged in a chaos way and sequence work done on the skirt. This skirt is cut in a way that it resembles the tail of peacock.

These two garments; saree and the male kurta-trouser are inspired by Chinese fans. I have depicted the lace work, mo;fs and the colors that are prominent in these fans.

Project: Make a detailed presenta;on about Banaras city. Research about the embroideries famous there, the produc;on systems and interview the weavers. Here are some of the slides from this research.

we
studied

detail
with
giving
a

study

era

how
they

our
fashion
industry.

This project helps us in understanding the dierent aspects of dierent produc2on systems. We must understand the merits and demerits of dierent produc2on systems. It aims at helping us to choose the accurate produc2on system for a par2cular kind of clothing in order to reduce the cost, beSer produc2vity, full usage of 2me.
Crea2ve paSern cuTng: This dress is being designed using plea;ng in a dierent manner using two fabrics with dierent weights.
A collec;on for those who are in their early teens, for a UK based supermarket company, Sainsburys .
This collec;on is designed afer a complete research about the brand , its clients and the need in market.
Final Major Project: My collec;on is based on the theme Fragile with keeping buleries in mind. I have incorporated bulery shapes in my palerns and have used sof colors, peach and yellow to give my collec;on a feminine look.
