All the budding IIMites..please prepare for the following questions as they seem likely to be asked in an interview....

(looks like a broken record but still...) 1. Why MBA? (the factors that influenced your career decision) 2. Your contributions and how you bring diversity to the student community @IIM 3. One or two significant accomplishments and what makes them important 4. A situation that put your leadership skills to test (please don't mention thi ngs like you led a team of 2 or 3 people for a routine job..think of a situation that could have turned into a crisis..:P 5. Hobbies and Extracurrics (Why do you like a particular thing so much that its your hobby....what do you enjoy outside work...what soothes your nerves....what you can do for hours without tiring yourself...anything except looking at a par ticular girl at your workplace..:D) 6. Mention a significant failure that you faced, what you gained out of it and h ow it affected you 7. Some questions testing your foresight...where do you want to see 5/10/15 year s from now ( don't faff about being an entrepreneur if you are not convinced abo ut it...just because everybody is saying the same thing doesn't mean that you sh ould fall in line too....take your own stand)
