Premiere of New Compositions Written by Musicians N. Jantsannorov and B. Sharav for Childrens Training The Arts Council of Mongolia promotes the sustainable development of Mongolian arts and culture, and the mission of its arts education projects is to use the arts to promote childrens talents and life skills. In particular, during the last three years the Arts Council of Mongolia has given out scholarships in partnership with the Music and Dance College to 22 students to support their professional and artistic development; created new music pieces with the Percussion, Violoncello, and Chamber ensembles; and raised 35 million Tugrik from international grants and Mongolian businesses to facilitate Mongolian and American educational exchanges. With the sponsorship of Noyon Uul Erdene LLC, the ACM commissioned new pieces to use for training at arts and music schools from Peoples Artist, Twice State Laureate composer N.Jantsannorov and State Laureate, Honored composer B.Sharav, which will now be introduced to the community. This joint work will enrich the repertoires of professional music schools and promote Mongolian classical arts, and its introductory performance will be March 13th, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the Music and Dance Colleges performance hall, where the Music and Dance College will formally receive the compositions. At the performance, the new music pieces from B. Sharav and N. Jantsannorov will premiere as well as new arrangements of the masterpieces of other composers. This compositions will shape the education of Mongolian children and help them retain traditional ways of thinking, to absorb national Mongolian models and will be studied by students age 8 to 18 who are learning the piano and violoncello.

From now on these compositions will be part of the Music and Dance Colleges curriculum, and primary school students will use them to advance their progress in developing Mongolian ways of thinking and creativity and in becoming professional artists.
