Romcartexin, Bucharest, 1998) and Dimensiunile psihologice ale actului chirurgical (Psychological dimensions of the surgical act, in collaboration with C. Dragomirescu and O. Popa Velea, Infomedica, Bucharest 2000) 2. in the field of allergology: - defining the field of interests of Psychoneuroendocrinology (first monography on international level, accessible to researchers and specialists worldwide through its publication in English), with personal contributions in Bronchial asthma with psychological trigger, Psychogenic urticaria, Psychologic issues of drug allergies, Psychological factors of therapeutical adherence in bronchial asthma

2 - research of patient specific factors especially Gram negative infections in the pathogeny of physical urticaria (especially cold and mechanic) and chronic idiopathic urticaria - the study of the increasing spectrum of etiological factors of allergic rhinitis and allergic bronchial asthma to pollen and transformation of seasonal specific evolution into perennial evolution (64% of cases with perennial evolution after 10 years) - evaluation of conditions of variability of cutaneous testing for allergens (spontaneous for a decade and under histaminic treatment), as well as a personal coding of the ice test (in approximately 950 patients with cold urticaria) - natural history of psysical urticaria, modalities of debut and evolution of allergic bronchial asthma to mites - developing of the concept stated by E. Seropian regarding natural provocation test in allergic diseases - the role of focal infections in chronicization of the urticaria after an accute attack - personal algorithm for allergy history taking, based on the enlargement of investigations of the biological and psychological status favorizing the installment of the allergic disease, as well as the use of spontaneous natural tests of provocation in allergic patients performed by the patients themselves - original clinical and therapeutical studies in cold urticaria, bronchial asthma (NSAI induced asthma and asthma with psychological trigger) and drug allergies 3. research contracts for Sandoz, MAPI Institute; recently for the European Union (all for clinical studies) 4. Gold Medal of Romanian Red Cross in 1987 5.
