PREFACE
This Catalog describes most antenna products and services available from S3C detailed descriptions specification planning guides and technology data. We want to make it easy for you to receive the right product for your application.
Our facility together with innovation designs provides us the opportunity to supply high volumes of antennas at high levels of quality. The manufacturing process is identical regardless of polarization, electrical downtilt, or horizontal beamwidth providing consistent quality and performance. Commonality in design allows all antennas to be produced using the exact same assembly process maximizing the consistency of the antenna products. The entire family can be in high volume at a very high level of reliability and consistency.

The transmission line should be grounded along the vertical run near the top and bottom and at the entrance of the line into the equipment shelter, the midpoint of the vertical run of transmission line should also be grounded if the height of the line exceeds 200 feet (62m). A section of cable jacket is removed and the ground strap tightly fastened to the outer conductor. The connection is then wrapped in butyl rubber tape and vinyl tape for protection from weather. Finally, a terminal is attached to the ground wire (some kits include terminals attached at the factory) and then attached to a bus bar grounded to a tower member or a clamp attached to a tower member.
Installation Process: 1. Position the ground wire terminal (if attached )to the attachment point (bus bar, etc.).Then, position the ground strap on the transmission line and mark the location. Remove 2 inch (51mm) of jacket for attachment of the ground strap.(see Fig.1) 2. Cut of a piece of butyl rubber tape 3 inches (76mm) long and wrap it around the ground wire near the ground strap. (See Fig.2) 3. Wrap the ground strap around the conductor and insert the tongue through the slot in the flange. Bend the tongue slightly to hold it in place. To minimize the stress on the outer conductor. (See Fig.3) 4. Insert the tongue of the ground strap into the coiling tool and rotate the tool with a screwdriver. Coil the strap tightly against the flange of the ground strap and stop when the expansion section begins to flatten as shown. Caution: Do not rotate or otherwise move the ground strap or distort the flange after tightening. (See Fig.4) 5. Press and form the butyl rubber tape on the ground wire to the jacket of the cable or wave-guide. Then, cut off a piece of butyl rubber tape 3 inch (76mm) long and fold it twice to make a small square. Press and form this tape onto the flange of the ground strap. (See Fig.5) 6. Starting at the bottom, wrap the butyl rubber tape over the entire connection in a half-width, overlapping pattern, stretching the tape as you wrap. Wrap in the same direction as the coiling of the ground strap was done to maintain tight connection. Continue upward to a point 3 to 4 inches (76 to 1020mm) above the ground strap. Squeeze the tape along its edges to form it to the connection. (See Fig.6) Wrap five layers of electrical tape over the entire connection so that each layer extends one inch (25mm) beyond the ends of the previous layer. Start wrapping at the bottom,, bellow the butyl rubber tape , and over-tap the tape at the half-width. Stretch the tape enough to avoid forming wrinkles. Reverse wrapping directions at the end of each layer. DO NOT STRETCH THE TAPE FOR THE LAST TWO TURNS OF THE FIFTHLAYER to avoid unraveling because of tension on the adhesive. Tightly squeeze the complete tape wrapping with both hands to ensure that the layers are secure. (See Fig.7)

S3C accessories azimuth adjustment tool for flat panels with 65~120 half-power beam width Precise azimuth angle adjustment for mast mounted antennas can easily be achieved by using the azimuth adjustment tool. mothod
z z z z z Use a map to work out the angle between the designed antenna azimuth direction and target object (church, building, mountain peak) Set this angle on the scale of the adjustment tool Push the adjustment tool onto the antenna fixture and tighten the fixing screws Use the telescope to aim at the target object, if necessary, use elevation compensation Then rotate the antenna until the target object appears in the telescope objective

HOW TO ATTACH
Eurocell flat panels can be easily and universally attached:
z z To tubular masts using clamps to suit the mast diameter. To tubular masts using clamps and mechanical downtilt kits, whereby the downtilt angle is continuously adjustable. The adjustable downtilt angle depend on the antenna height. The angles set can be read off from a special scale. To flat surfacese.g. house facades using the pre-attached installation plates. Mounting screws are not included on the scope of delivery. To customer-specific structures using the pre-attached installation plates.
