Jesus Calms the Storm

Un giorno Ges disse suoi discepoli: Passiamo allaltra riva del lago. One evening, Jesus said to His disciples, Lets sail over to the other side of the lake.

Mentre navigavano, Ges si addorment.

As they were sailing, Jesus fell asleep.

Stava dormendo, quando scaten una violenta tempesta, tanto che la barca cominci a riempirsi dacqua ed essi erano in serio pericolo. When Jesus was asleep, a great storm came their way. The waves shook the boat back and forth and they were all in serious danger.

Gli discepoli si precipitarono a svegliare Ges: Maestro, Maestro, affondiamo! urlavano. The disciples woke Jesus up, crying, Lord, Lord, were sinking!

Ges si svegli e sgrid il vento. Subito le onde si acquietarono e ritorn la calma.

Jesus woke up and commanded the storm to stop. Immediately, the wind stopped and the waves calmed down.

Gli discepoli si meravigliavano e si dicevano lun laltro: Ges comanda anche ai venti e allacqua, e gli ubbidiscono! The disciples marveled, saying Even the winds and the water obey Jesus!
