Introduction In present days, information is the key of succeeding in everything. To get information

and data we have to communicate between each other as fast as possible. Mobile phone are the perfect answer to this matter and has become a necessity for todays people around the world. Since its humble beginning as an uncommon, big and bulky device, the mobile phone has now became an everyday item that is sleek and pocket-sized. As mobile phones are used by all aged people we can say that it is playing a big role in every humans daily life. It has been an important item where we can say that people in present days could not live a life without a mobile phone. Mobile phones are invented based on a simple telephone. Alexander Graham Bell was an eminent Scottish scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who was credited for inventing the first simple telephone in 1870s. Alexander Graham Bell's notebook entry of 10 March 1876 describes his successful experiment with the telephone. Speaking through the instrument to his assistant, Thomas A. Watson, in the next room, Bell utters these famous first words, "Mr. Watson -- come here -- I want to see you." Cell phones today are very compact, advanced, and some of them are smart but back in the 1980s when they were introduced to the consumer market they were very different. The cell phones of the early 80s were large, heavy, and hard to talk on. In 1983 the first cell phone was sold on the market was the Motorola Dyna-Tac 8000x. The mobile phone in the 80s could only call in some places but there was another invention that made it possible to use satellites to call from anywhere in anytime on the face of the earth. So it became very popular among the working people around the world. As time went on, new phones were being put out on the market and in the very early 90s the cell phone took on a new look. The bag phone was introduced by Motorola in 1992. The bag phone consisted of a hand set, a very large battery, and a long antenna. The bag phone was very popular when it came out because it was very durable and was relatively inexpensive. Today, cell phones are very advanced and have the fastest networks and data streaming ever. In todays high technology world the new phones are cooler and faster than ever. Phones like the Apple I-phone and the Blackberry Storm have taken the cell phone market to a new level. These touch screen phones have come a very long way from the brick phones of the

1980s. They have cool features such as email, downloadable applications, and internet browsers that look like you are on an actual computer. A person can watch TV, browse the internet, and take pictures and many others. But like any other technology it has its pros and cons. As mobile phones has transformed the way we live and communicate, I would like to present a report about the disadvantages that has overweigh the advantages of mobile phones. I do believe that mobile phones are the reason for some medical and social issues that has been increase in a line with the country 's progress to achieve Vision 2020. In my opinion, our government should take a serious action to solve this matter to safe our future generation as the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of mobile phones. There must be an awareness of advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones to our future generation in their early education.

Body There are many issues of disadvantages in using mobile phones. But here, Im going to

present the main four problems which I think those are important issues. Those are damage of social life, cheating and fraud, addicted to games, health and safety issues. I believe that these are the main issues that ghost the people all over the global. There are many people who prefer to talk on phone by calling or messaging rather than meet with others. This could affect the peoples communicating skill. People nowadays are shy, uncomfortable and unconfident when talk with others. This problem mainly has affected our young generation as they are too much addicted to mobile games. Not like the old generations childhood, our kids nowadays prefer to stay in the house and sit in front of mobile phones for hours rather than go out to play, run, involve themselves in sports and mingle with others to gain knowledge as well. Lack of sweating activities could make children fell in sick. Sweating is important to the children to balance their hormones, especial for the teenagers. Lack of sweating is the main reason why our teenagers involved in raping cases. High usage of mobile phones among the teenagers also increases early age loves and it directly has been the reason to abortion cases among the teenage girls. Mobile phones affect peoples capacity of managing with real world and real problems as they dont mingle up with others to gain knowledge and improve their knowledge in current issues. In fact, in most of the cases, they are actually become an introverted, in which case could serious distort their perception about social life. We can clearly say that mobile phones are also affect the language change. Economics text massaging is preferred by our young generation rather than typing the message in proper language and language without grammatical errors. They think as it is waste of time, energy and money as well. As a result, new form of abbreviated language are being invented and used by our young mobile users. Very short messages with abbreviated form of language are used in SMS interaction and ideas of keywords are seem to be developing. There is a contraction of space available for texting, though the space through which the message can travel is highly expanded. In cell phone conversations, new form of greeting and leave taking are emerging.

This has develop the less polite language. In many schools, teachers are now worrying about effects of text messaging on spelling in language subjects as other new form of messaging language are developing. New form of speaking and writing by young generations are often judged to be symbolic of negative social processes of fragmentation and disruption of values, authority, continuity of culture. Example of this are the complaints in our country about usage of wrong spelling in English writing. For example, pupils write u instead of writing you. Not only that, mobile phones are also the cause how rumors can be spread very fast. Rumors can be spread very fast by text messages and the audience for message cannot always be controlled or known. Mobile phones facilitate communication, decreasing the distance among family members, but they also become a monitoring device and intrude on personel space. Parents value mobile phones for added communication with their children, but then have little control of childrens communication with their peers and others. New Criminal Behaviors enabled by cell phone technology have emerged in all of the countries. The cell phone is a new aid in criminal and anti-social behavior. Cell phones have been used to facilitate assaults, to facilitate harassment (cyber bullying), to illegally advertise products, and to undermine law enforcement. We should be concern about the protection of youth and the fact that cell phones enable access to vulnerable populations, particularly children. Mobile phones with texting capabilities, photo and video capabilities, and satellite positioning options make it possible for children to have constant access to the Internet. Much of this access is currently unsupervised. Criminal behaviors include short message spam, fraud, identify theft, phone theft, telephone bombs, used markets abuses, illegally trafficked communication gateways, new black markets in phone lines, new ways to transmit pornography, culturally inappropriate sexual content on cell phones and gambling by text. Mobile phones are recognized to be agents of change, for example, in the way social groups manage freedom versus constraints in order to prevent harm and to promote well-being. In the process of creating a safe society, certain populations are deemed more vulnerable, for example, children and in some cases women. The same new vulnerabilities, however are creating opportunities for the groups.

In every country, mobile phones have created new problems foe tradisional cultural values. In some cases, the camera feature of mobile phones has been particularly transgressed, permitting a new audience of viewers of what has traditionally been considered private or restricted. The issue of private versus public emerges as one of the most interesting aspects of mobile phone technology. Each culture classifies not only its activities but also its surroundings into categories such as public and private, formal and informal, and so forth. The communities learn to interpret these categories and what kinds of audiences and language will be appropriate. Speakers have choices about what type of language to use in a particular context or to a particular person, and certain features of language can invoke a particular context, for example, using certain terms or ways of speaking can invoke a religious context, legal, context, educational context or intimate context. Culture differ in their ideas about who are authorized speakers and hearers; many cultures share the notion that certain words and phrases are taboo or forbidden in certain contexts or between certain members of society. Everyday situations are very important not only for childrens learning, but for the whole societys production and maintenance of habits of understanding and expectations. New challenge and contexts have arisen through new technologies which challenge customary activity categories, for example, with television bringing scenes of places and people, both real and fictional, reaching audiences, both intended and unintended, outside the immediate environment. The cell phones enables very private conversations to take place in very public places. What is appropriate for a particular culture is often apparent until breaches occur or people do not perform in expected ways. Habits create what seems natural to people and benefits of societies impact attitudes about communication and proper social relations. Many of those using cell phones report their feeling that there is a lack of common sense among cell phone users. So called common sense is actually a set of established, culturally embedded practices, learned behavior and a learned world view. Some aspects of cell phones use that are being experienced as socially disruptive include the interruptive nature of cell phones. When phones ring, people feel obliged to answer them, which can mean abruptly turning ones attention from one conversation or activity to another. Cultural rules and norms about how to manage interruptions of current activities have not yet been established foe cell phones.

A person calling on a cell phone is not aware of the social context surrounding the person who will answer. Cell phone users answered their cell phones during family meals, for examples. Cell phones can threaten safety and result in challenges to individual freedom as well as group security, and the management of work versus private time, as well as public versus private spaces. People report, for example, that the cell phones has changed social habits of visiting friends and relatives and that people complain that they now receive text messages rather than visits. Mobile phones are changing work habits and the length of the working day. Two categories of health problems occur because of mobile phones. They are direct and indirect health issues. In terms of direct health concerns most of the people fears that mobile phones cause early aging and headaches. In terms of indirect health problems are sleeping disorders and depression. Some pages in internet are also revealing the problem that microwaves from mobile phones could cause brain tumor and stroke. People are aware of potential dangers of cell phone use, yet they also being cell phone addicted. Using a metaphor indicating that needs for connection and communication can override questions about the safety of the means for such connection. People can get addicted to cell phones and this causes them to forget family values. Other safety concerns include using a mobile phone to talk or text message (except in hands free mode) while driving. This problem is a focus of regulation in many countries. The one who driving a car and they are speaking on the mobile phone or text messaging via mobile phone at any time they could cause an accident. They arent paying attention and are speaking on the mobile phone and they are very concentrated on the mobile phone and it is possible that they hits another car or hurt someone. Even if there is a hands free set, they are upset and busy and can cause an accident at any time.

Conclusion Nowadays information is very important to be success in every aspect. As a result, there

has to be a fast communication between each other to get information and data. This is possible with a mobile phone which will be the perfect answer to all this matter. As it has been a necessity for todays people, many mobile phone companies are competing among each other to invent the extraordinary mobile phones to full fill their costumers need by sidestepping the disadvantages of mobile phones which are overweighed the advantages. However, there are many voices who believe that mobile phones are the reason for some medical and social issue. Firstly, it is considered that excess using of mobile phone can damage social life. For example there are many people who prefer to talk by phone rather than meet with others, and this could affect their capacity of managing with real world and real problems. Youngsters who are addicted to mobile games involve in many unhealthy social activities. This will directly spoil our future generation and it will be a problem to us to achieve our nations future goals. Secondly, there are some rumors about brain damaging by microwave phone system, and it is believed this could lead to deadly diseases. Moreover, some scientists suggest that is better to use hands free system with phones instead talking directly on phone. Although, no illness could be linked with using hand free system some other problem like careless driving which could cause accidents occur because of this mobile phone usage while driving any vehicles. In spite of those problems there is question that advantages of mobile phone overcome disadvantages. Although, the disadvantages of mobile phone overweigh the advantages, yet modern people depend on it and now everything is linked to mobile communication. In addition, with new generation of smart phones, people around the world have the advantage to be adequately informed anytime anywhere. Furthermore, mobile phones are the perfect instrument in distributing information and news. For example, the world was informed about Egypt demonstration from news posted on social network thru mobile phone. On the whole, the downside of using mobile phones seems to be insignificant comparing with benefits, and in it is believed that it will continue to be the mainly way to communicate between us.
