Directions

for replacing Tare Key 1

All new tare keys are pre-treated at the factory with Gurisil compound. Therefore, whenever performing repairs on new versions, use these new tare keys exclusively! - All stainless steel surfaces which are in contact with the applied Gurisil compound, need to be Dre-treated with mimer. - Cover bottom side of key with Gurisil compound (Order Nr. 73043).

L.,

- Press tare key 1 onto upper section of display housing 4, then fasten with both spring washers and nuts. It is desirable that the Gurisil compound escapes between the rubber cap and the stainless steel surface. Remove excessiveGurisi lcompound at exterior. - Cut off both protruding threads (e.g., with side cutters). - Apply heavy coating of Gurisil to inside of aperture, including both nuts and threads.

- Check proper functioning

of tare key by attaching to balance!
