By means of an illustrated plot of the fable The Crow and the Pitcher by Aesop, the students should be able to: A. determine the
character and the setting of the story; B. determine the value of the story; C. share instances in their lives where they have been shown patience and resourcefulness; and D. make a promise to continue being patient and resourceful.

A. Subject Matter
The Crow and the Pitcher

A. Preliminary Stage Motivation * Divide the class into three groups. Each group will be given spoons and marbles. Prepare three half-full glass of water. Instruct the pupils to form 3 columns. Give the instructions: a. Suspend the spoon in your lip b. The last person in the line will be given a marble c. The marble will passed simultaneously until the water will overflow. d. The first group who will overflow the water will receive a price. B. Lesson Proper 1. Post the illustrated fable, the crow and the pitcher.
