Solutions Administrator Position Purpose The Information Technology Solutions Administrator role is to be the technical r esource facilitating the ordering, assembly, quality assurance testing, installa tion and on-site testing of client projects across the country. The role will a lso be heavily involved in the development of new technology and provide third t ier support to the existing customer base. Nature & Scope Act as the project lead in the quote, design, order, assembly, installation and testing of solutions to client sites Install, update & upgrade existing/new servers, workstations, network equipment, media players and other appliances to appropriate software and hardware levels to meet business needs Build, prepare and document equipment racks to house solutions and integrate wit h the clients desired solution requirements Coordinate with other team members, departments, vendors and client resources to bring about the successful launch and ongoing operations of supplied solutions Assist in the design, maintenance and integration of end to end solution network s (including; LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN & ISP) to provide a national coverage and remo te connectivity Facilitate the onsite testing of solutions prior to launch or turn over to the c ustomer ensuring a fully functional product Maintain an inventory of both hardware and software to be used in future project s Maintain project user, hardware, software, schematics and site specific informat ion in corporate database and repositories Participate in the design, build and testing of future client technology product s and projects including the creation or maintenance of documentation While not a primary role this position will also assist in the ongoing operation s of the company which will include supporting, clients and customers and workin g with vendors by receiving, prioritizing and actively resolving issues Take part in the afterhours support of installed solutions and customer operatio ns to ensure maximum up time And any other duties as may be required or assigned Post-Secondary certificate/diploma in Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years experience Desktop/user support experience CCNA and/or CSSA certification MCSA and/or MCSE certification 3-5 years Microsoft Operating System and Software support experience 3-5 years experience building network/server enclosures/racks Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to users of various skill l evels Ability to self-manage workload Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills Good planning and organizational skills Good communications skills Bilingual (English/French) Android OS programming/administration experience Media encoding and transmission experience PBX integration and telephony experience Education and Experience Required Additional Assets Company Profile Hospitality Network is an industry leader in patient and resident Television, Te lephone and Internet rentals and service provider within Hospitals and Senior Ca re Homes across Canada. Compensation 33-38K Salary depending on experience Extended Health Benefits Group RRSP contributions Bonus available
