Measurements
1.1 Insertion Loss (IL)
The measurement for Insertion Loss it is made with: Lower jumper+EMP+ feeder terminated with Short. Below it is the measurement with two different tools. The amplitude (vertical axe) it is between 0 and -5 The frequencies (horizontal axe) will be for GSM 900 between 880MHz and 960MHZ, and for DCS 1800 between 1710MHz and 1880MHz The measurement will have two markers. M1 Marker to peak and M2 Marker to valley. Inside of Word document Antenna folder the value for Insertion Loss will be (M1+M2)/2 (as example for BU179 IL=(-1.42-2.12)/2=-1.77). The name of the measurement is: <FeederCode>IL, and inside will be <SiteID>_<SiteName>_<FeederCode>_Insertion Loss

Measurement made with Bird

The measurement for Feeder Return Loss it is made with: Lower jumper+EMP+ feeder terminated with Load. Below it is the measurement with two different tools. The amplitude (vertical axe) it is between Top - 10 and Bottom -50 The frequencies (horizontal axe) will be for GSM 900 between 880MHz and 960MHZ, and for DCS 1800 between 1710MHz and 1880MHz The measurement will have one marker : M1 Marker to peak. Inside of Word document Antenna folder the value for Feeder Return Loss will be value from M1 (as example for BA070 FRL=-24.15). The limit on the measurement will be calculated using the software Commatel and the value depending from the length/type of the feeder, and frequencies. For example for BA115_4170 the
software will look like this

The name of the measurement is: <FeederCode>FRL (for example:4170FRL), and inside will be <SiteID>_<SiteName>_<FeederCode>_Feeder Return Loss

1.3 Antenna Feeder Return Loss (AFRL)

The measurement for Antenna Feeder Return Loss it is made with: Lower jumper+EMP+ feeder+upper jumper+ antenna by passing TMA. Inside of Word document Antenna folder the value for Antenna Feeder Return Loss will be value from M1 (as example for BA070 AFRL=-18.86). The limit on the measurement will be calculated using the software Commatel and the value depending from the length/type of the feeder, type of the antenna and frequencies. For example
for BA115_4172 the software will look like this

1.4 Distance To Fault (DTF)

The measurement for Distance to Fault it is made with: Lower jumper+EMP+ feeder+upper jumper+ antenna by passing TMA. Below it is the measurement with two different tools. The amplitude (vertical axe) it is between Top 1.25 and Bottom 1 The distance (horizontal axe) will be between 0 and an maximum in order to have visible all antenna line. On the measurement will be no marker or limit. The limits are (in order to see if all antenna line is OK): - connectors: 1.05 - antenna: 1.25 - EMP: 1.03 - feeder: 1.01 The name of the measurement is: <FeederCode>DTF ( for example: 4172DTF), and inside will be <SiteID>_<SiteName>_<FeederCode>_Distance To Fault

1.5 Antenna Feeder Return Loss with TMA (MFRL)

The measurement for Antenna Feeder Return Loss with TMA it is made with: Lower jumper+EMP+ feeder+upper jumper+ TMA+antenna (if TMA exists). The amplitude (vertical axe) it is between Top 0 and Bottom -50 The frequencies (horizontal axe) will be for GSM 900 between 880MHz and 960MHZ, and for DCS 1800 between 1710MHz and 1880MHz The measurement will have two marker : For Uplink (1710MHz 1785MHz) will be M1 Marker to peak. For Downlink (1805MHz 1880MHz) will be M2 Marker to peak. Inside of Word document Antenna folder the value for Antenna TMA Feeder Return Loss will be value from M1 and M2 (as example for BU048 MFRL=-17.59 (from uplink interval) and -17.05(for downlink interval)). The limit on the measurement will be -12dB The name of the measurement is: <FeederCode>MFRL ( for example: 4132MFRL), and inside will be <SiteID>_<SiteName>_<FeederCode>_TMA_Antenna Feeder Return Loss

2. Log files to be attach inside Site Folder

2.1 Log file from MiniLink Alcatel During commissioning there are 4 files that must be saved and attached with site folder.

1. DiagnosisRemote Inventory From this dialog we can save a file (e.g. Buzau_RemoteInventory.txt) that shows the sw versions, hw versions and serial numbers of the units. From here we take some information that we se in site folder. Under paragraph 2. HOP CONFIGURATION we set as
SW Version of IU (and OU): remoteInventorySoftwarePartNumber. Version(PN) of OU(s) : remoteInventoryPartNumber Serial Numbers : remoteInventorySerialNumber

2. DiagnosisCurrent Configuration View From this dialog we can see the configuration of the IU and save a .txt file (e.g. Buzau_CurrentConfiguration.txt). All settings are shown here.

3. SupervisionFeature key: The dialog that appears shows characteristics of the software key. Take a screen shot from this and attach the picture (e.g. Buzau_FeatureKey.jpg) inside SF.

4. From main window go to Radio tab and at Power meas tab of lower frame. The file that is written as log file has the measurements for TX and RX power. When alignment is over this file shows whole history of the alignment. Attach this file (e.g. Buzau_PowerMeas.txt) to SF. Also a screenshot of the dialog that shows TX and RX power is acceptable. 2.2 Log file from MiniLink Ericsson
After the commissioning there are 7 Print Screens that must be saved like below and attached with site folder. These are: 1. Hop 2. Hop Setup Near End 3. Hop Setup Far End 4. Traffic Setup Near End 5. Traffic Setup Far End 6. Inventory Data Near End 7. Inventory Data Far End For example it is the table bellow.

For the RBS Ericsson the log file is the IDB that will be saved into .dat format after commissioning was done (define hardware info, external alarms if we have, define loss, define delay, define TEI value, define network topology).

2.4 Log file from RBS Siemens

all the documents from the diskette (initial files) 1 file from the TRX witch can be seen the frequencies for each CU the IDF file will put in the diskette (that file that you obtain after you make commissioning) 1 file with the channels what's describe BCCH and SDCCH 1 back up file from RBS
