Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III), a magnificent American rapper, actor and record producer was born on 17 October 1972 in St. Joseph, MO. He had a chaotic childhood and released The Slim Shady LP in 1999. This multi-platinum, album made him won 2 Grammy Awards and 4 MTV Video Music Awards. Eminem released The Marshall Mathers LP one of the fastest-selling album in rap music history in the year 2000.
Eminems massive hit The Real Slim Shady album reached at #4 pop and #11 R&B.
Eminems unique blend of exceptional nasal delivery, crossover appeal, and enthusiasm to attack and affront everything coming his way without prejudice instantly established him as a successful young rapper and an inexorable phenomenon. A monstrous crossover hit by Eminem came with The Real Slim Shady which reached at #4 pop and #11 R&B in 2000. The GLAAD led the complaint charge, highly alarmed above a frequent theme of terrible homophobia right through the album. This debate reached openly when gay rocker and a candid Eminem fan performed with him at the Grammy Awards ceremony in 2001. This album version of Stan drew its pretty chorus from the track Thank You by an English singer and song-writer Dido.

In 2001, Eminem signed his Detroit crew D12 with his new record label Shady Records released Devils Night that debuted at #1 and sold above two million copies. In 2002, Eminem came back with his third album The Eminem Show that sold over 1 million copies in the first week of its release and went over selling above 10 million copiesmaking him the only artist in the history of rap music with two diamond certified albums. Its first single Without Me mocked the media storm which followed him everywhere he went. This single reached at 2nd position on Billboards Hot 100 and became his highest placement till date. Cleanin Out My Closet his second single from the third album, reached at 4th position on the Hot 100.
