Celebrate the opening of Newark Riverfront Park & Song of the Passaic mural dedication Saturday, August 3, 2013

Newark Riverfront Park M1 bus to Ferry & Fillmore Streets, then walk 1 block east to Somme and 2 blocks north to Raymond. Enter park at Raymond Blvd and Somme St and walk to left towards the big orange sticks.

COME DOWN NECK & WEAR ORANGE TO CELEBRATE NEWARKS NEW ORANGE BOARDWALK!
On Saturday, August 3, celebrate the opening of two new attractions on Newarks riverfront! At 11:30 am, join Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and other dignitaries to open Newark Riverfront Park, Essex Countys second segment of riverfront park. Then, walk to Essex County Riverfront Park to dedicate Song of the Passaic, the latest and largest mural produced by the Newark Public Art Program. Mark you calendar for a full day of festivities, and get your orange clothes, hats, and sneakers ready to go.
