Major Performance Task in the First Quarter of Economics: Narrative Resume and Photo Rationale and Objectives Having a Benedictine education is a rare privilege that produces fine young men and women of culture and values. After high school education, students enter into the world of college armed with different talents, skills and passions in life. These would later on mold them further into men and women of service to their family, country, the world, and God. It is for this reason that students should realize all these and prove themselves worthy to go to tertiaty education in the future with their chosen course, armed with Benedictine traits and values. Steps in the Narrative Resume 1. Based on your performance task in English (Personal Odyssey), re-assess your strengths and weaknesses, talents, skills and Benedictine values that you have inculcated. 2. After your re-assessment, research on the best possible course that is best suited for you. 3. Create a written 500-750-word narrative resume in English (to be translated into Filipino) validating your decision of your chosen course. (This narrative resume will be delivered orally in your Filipino performance task.) Guide Questions for the creation of the narrative resume: Introduction o Give a brief background and description of yourself. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your skills, talents and achievements so far as a Bedan student? Body of the paper o What course did you choose? o What are the expected skills and talents that the course requires for you to be successful in that field? o How can/do you fulfill these requirements? o What Bedan values do you possess that can make you become a better professional in the future? Conclusion o How can you contribute to nation-building using your chosen course and as a Bedan? Rubrics for the Written Narrative Resume 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
