LEARNING OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. Listen to the instruction and make the correct action 2. Identify the name of action by speak it loudly based on the text given 3. Match the name of an action with the correct picture 4. Understand the instruction by doing the correct action during the Simon Say game EDUCATIONAL EMPHASES: 1. Multiple Intelligences: i) Verbal linguistic by using the text and flash cards ii) Visual spatial by using the pictures iii) Kinesthetic during the Simon Say game (post listening activity) iv) Music during the closure activity by singing the If Youre Happy and You Know It song 2. CCTS: i) ii) iii) Identifying : Identify the name of action by speak it loudly based on the text given during the pre listening activity Matching : Match the name of an action with the correct picture during the while listening activity Applying : Make an action based on the instruction given during the post listening activity

Pre Listening (15 Minutes)

Reading text and make action Grammar : The use of pausesindicated by commands (short pause and long pause)

1. Teacher gives every pupils a text. 2. Pupils follow after teacher to read the text. Teacher gives attention to the correct stress and intonation. Bring pupils attention to the use of pauses-indicated by commas (short pause) and full stops (slightly longer pause).

3. Teacher asks pupils to read the text again. While pupils read it, teacher shows to pupils the movement for each action. Post Listening (15 minutes)

Simon Says Game 1.

1. Teacher revise parts of the body and action words like touch your nose, raise your hands etc. 2. Teacher teaches pupils how to play the game Simon says 3. Teacher show the examples to the pupils for them to be clear. 4.When the teacher makes an action is preceded with the words Simon says, pupils must perform the action. 5. If the phrase Simon says is not said, then the pupils must not do it. Whoever does it out of the game. 6. Teacher calls one students
