Convenient Access to Pre-defined Metrics Business users are becoming more mobile. Offices are more virtual than physical. Whether it is a business executive, sales manager, field service professional, or inventory manager, the business information needed by these users while away from their office has also become more complex. They need business insights that can help them understand the latest business conditions and trends to be highly productive while they are on-the-go. Oracle helps these mobile business users meet these challenges with a comprehensive set of pre-defined analytics that can be accessed by Oracle Business Indicators on the iPhone. These pre-built metrics and reports are delivered from Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications, and include financial, human resources, supply chain and customer relationship management analytics. Oracle Business Indicators delivers time critical intelligence to a broad group of business users across many disciplines. From the contact center to the order fulfillment department, managers require visibility at a moments notice. For example, a contact center manager can monitor call volume to determine the proper staffing level in order to provide superior service to their customers. Also, customer fulfillment managers concerned about a significant spike in customer demand for a product can monitor the available quantity to fulfill new orders. Users can also create custom reports and analyses using Oracles market-leading BI platform, Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus (OBIEE), then view the results on their iPhone with Oracle Business Indicators.
