This course, taught in conjunction with AMDA, is for students who want to combine English with the study of film, including film history, script writing, acting and production. It also includes practical filmmaking skills. All this right in the heart of Hollywood the film capital of the world. 4. Acting for the Camera: Methods and techniques for film acting A ngles, working within a frame, playing according to the size of shot
2. F ilm Studies: Knowledge of specialist subjects as shown right 3. Practical skills: Managing the creation of a short film or documentary
5. Script Development: Concept development Creative approaches to writing Sitcoms, screen plays, shorts film and documentaries 6. Production/post production: Filming Editing and full montage 7. Short film competition Towards the end of the course you will apply your new skills and creative ideas to making a short film or documentary, managing the project from start to finish. The best film will be given an award at a special awards ceremony.

Students may enroll in the 12-week English plus Film program three times a year. General English classes are offered 15 hours a week in the morning or afternoon; students take 6 hours of Film classes in the afternoon. Students have full access to all resources and facilities at both Kings Colleges and AMDA campuses. A sample schedule is as follows:
