The JOVYTEC P (plus) is available in 700, 1000,1500, 2000 and 3000 VA power ratings. This new series features an online dual transformer conguration which enables it to meet the requirements of protection class VFI-SS-111. As well as in this online dual transformer conguration, the systems can also operate in a variety of modes. In developing this entirely new technology, our designers focussed particularly on compactness and high availability. The output voltage of the JOVYTEC P series is sinusoidal. All the units in this series can also be operated without problem in Green mode, increasing their efciency to over 98 %. UPS systems of the JOVYTEC P series supply their consumers with a constant preset frequency. The input frequency can be adjusted between 45 and 65 Hz. The JOVYTEC P series allows you to choose between four different modes: online mode, Green mode, free-running mode and generator mode. All the systems in this series feature a diagnostic test sys-

tem activated every time the UPS starts up, a power-dependent fan control and a power factor correction function which provides sinusoidal current consumption.

The JOVYTEC P battery compartment is conveniently located on the front of the unit, enabling the complete battery pack to be quickly and easily replaced while the unit is in operation.

modes
Online mode to VFI-SS-111 In this mode the consumer is continuously supplied by way of the inverter. The inverter delivers a top-quality sinusoidal voltage. Supply to the consumer is not cut, even in the event of a power failure. Green mode In Green mode the consumer is normally supplied by way of the bypass. If voltage uctuations or power failures occur, the supply is provided via the inverter. An intelligent software program ensures that the switchover is made virtually without interruption. Free-running mode In free-running mode the input frequency of the UPS systems may uctuate between 45 and 65 Hz, whereby the JOVYTEC p maintains the output frequency absolutely stable. The frequency parameters can be set using the software. Generator mode In generator mode the JOVYTEC p prevents frequent switching in the event of distortion of generator output voltage. This mode substantially reduces the load on the batteries. At the same time is provides a high degree of operating safety for the consumers.

software
With our JUMP software program you can integrate the complete JOVYTEC p series into your safety concept. A fully automated system closes your les and shuts down the servers completely. In a TCP/IP active network this is implemented as a matter of course, even where the operating systems are different. Direct interfacing of a computer is possible via the standard RS 232 port or optional USB port, or you can use an SNMP adapter. Various service tools complete the array of protection your system enjoys. All relevant data are saved to a database, where they can be accessed to provide reliable information on what exactly happened whenever a malfunction occurs. Notications, such as power failure warnings, can be passed over a wide variety of communication channels. Messages via e-mail, SMS or fax will reach you anytime, anywhere, or a connection over the Internet is also possible. The JUMP single-server license includes all these functions, and with the multi-server license you can add more server according to your needs.
