CALIBRATION MODE 1 Configuration of the amplifier:

Place CV1 and CV2 jumpers according to the load-cell specifications and the requested output signal (see board on the right side of this page).
Position of the CV1 jumper according to the load-cell sensitivity to get 0/10 V or 4/20 mA. CV1 Jumper position no. 1 no. 2 no. 3 no. 4 no. 5 no. 6 no. 7 no. 8 X Load-cell sensitivity (mV/V) 0.35 0.45 0.60 0.75 0.95 1.25 1.60 2.10 2.60 to to to to to to to to to 0.45 0.60 0.75 0.95 1.25 1.60 2.10 2.60 3.50

2 Connections :
Connect the load-cell, the 24 V power supply and the output 0/10V or 4/20mA according to the sketches hereunder. Switch the power supply on. Wait about 15 minutes before starting the adjustment, in order for the weighing system to reach its nominal operating temperature.

3 Zero adjustment :
Make sure first that the load-cell doesn't carry any other load than the deadweight to be tared. Adjust the zero (taring) with potentiometers P2 (coarse) and P3 (fine). 0 /10V output : the voltmeter must display 0V. 4 /20mA output : the amperemeter must display 4mA.

4 Span adjustment :
After having applied a known load on the load-cell, adjust the span with potentiometer P1 in order to obtain the requested output.

Example : Load cell capacity = 500 kg Load to be weighed = 200 kg Output signal for 200 kg = (200/500) x 2 = 0.8 mV/V CV1 jumper should be placed on position 4

5 Checking :
Remove the reference load from the load-cell and check the zero value. If necessary adjust zero and span one more time following the same procedure.
