Your Hands Are The Lord's Hands!

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones (Ephesians 5:30).

heres a song Christians all over the world sing and it goes thus: My hands are blessed, with the blessings of God! My hands are blessed with the blessings of God! Anything I touch surely must be blessed! Anything I touch surely must be blessed! My hands are filled with the blessings of God! Im not quite sure if folks who sing this song all around the world catch the meaning of it, but it sure tells me something, that my hands are not ordinary hands. The Bible says our bodies are the members of Christ (1 Corinthians 6:15). When I look at my hands, I see the hands of God, which He uses to bless and touch the world. No wonder He says in Jeremiah 51:20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms. God is a Spirit, and He has given the earth to men. He doesnt function on earth without us. When He was to deliver the children of Israel from Pharaoh in Egypt, He had to do it through Moses. According to the Bible, He delivered the children of Israel out of bondage with a mighty hand (Exodus 32:11). Now, He certainly didnt part the heavens and stretch forth His hand to physically humble Pharaoh, and usher the children of Israel out of Egypt. Rather, He used Moses as His point-man. When the children of Israel were to cross the Red Sea, He said to Moses, stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: (Exodus 14:16). When they needed water in the

desert, He again said to Moses ... thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink (Exodus 17:6). It was through Moses that God fulfilled His purposes for the children of Israel. Also, in Acts 5:12, the Bible didnt say And through the hands of God were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; rather, it says, And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people, letting us know that our hands are Gods hands. Were Gods point of contact in the earth. I want you to take a good look at your hands and say out loud: These are the Lords hands! You might as well go ahead and place those hands where you need the touch of God. If its a sick person that needs healing, lay your hands on whomever it is to be well! You can direct the power of God through your hands over any situation you want to change as Moses did over the Red Sea, for your hands are the Lords hands.

Confession
My hands are Gods miracle-working hands; theyre His extension into this physical world through which He touches and blesses. Through my hands, the Lord is at liberty to carry out His divine purposes. Wherever I lay my hands, the power of God is manifested and miracles take place, in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
