Chapter 2
Cole Bradin hadn't been to England for so long, but those days certainly hadn't left him. He could still remember it now. Junior Year Cole was sitting in his car, waiting for his girlfriend to come out. He would have just gone in to see Mr. and Mrs. Bloomwood, but Becky had asked him to stay in his car-unless he wanted her parents to join them. As much as he loved Becky's parents well let's just say he would rather have Becky all to himself. "Hey." Becky said, getting into the car and giving Cole a kiss on the mouth. "Drive, drive fast." She said, snapping on her seat belt. Cole looked at her questioningly, but put his foot on the gas pedal nonetheless. "Whoa, Bec, what are you doing?" Cole asked, as his girlfriend pulled off her seatbelt before taking off her jacket, so she was in her undergarments. Cole kept an eye on the road, but couldn't help but look in the corner of his eye. "Don't tell my mom, but I had to buy this when I saw it on sale at French Connection." Becky pleaded as she pulled a dress over her head. Cole gave a whole hearty laugh. "Hey, don't laugh at me! My god, I have to pass it off for a week or two, until the next secondhand sale. I'll pretend I bought it there." "Hell Becky, I love you, please don't ever change." Cole shook his head in amusement. "I won't, don't worry." Becky kissed him once more, though it was on the cheek, so he wouldn't get too distracted from driving. Present "Mr. Bradin, here are your keys. We hope you enjoy your stay at Buckingham Gate." Cole came back to the present when the concierge handed him the key to the Chancellor's suite he had requested.
-6-

"We will send your luggage right up, sir." "Thank you." Cole made his way to the elevator. He was finally here, he thought with a heavy sigh. All that was missing was one key person. Past Becky was running her hand through Cole's dark locks, reading a fashion magazine while Cole rested his head drowsily on her lap in the meadow. "Cole?" Cole opened one eye. "Hmm?" "Promise me that one day, we'll go to the Buckingham Gate together." "The Buckingham Gate?" "Yes. That's where Trisha Hampton and Walt Gane spent their honeymoon." "Okay..." "Cole, to the fashion world, Trish and Walt's wedding was like Diana and Charles." "Uh huh. Well, I promise we will one day." Cole promised sleepily. Present Cole looked around his room. If only Becky was here with him. He still remembered the promise he had made her in the meadow all those years ago. He could still picture Becky with her sunny smile and delightful giggle and hear her condescending tone when he didn't know about someone important in the entertainment business. Now he was one of those people. He wondered if Becky ever read about him.

Becky Brandon sat down at a table by the window in a caf, waiting for the boys and Minnie to meet her. Luke and Michael had taken the baby with them so that Becky "wouldn't corrupt the poor girl with her shopping habits". She was not that bad. She had gotten better, after all. Becky had only bought that

cute jumper for Minnie. And new Fendi sunglasses, along with a pair of Hermes shoes. But maybe she'd keep that last part to herself

Cole was walking around London when something caught his eye. There, not 20 feet away, was Rebecca Bloomwood, his high school sweetheart. He watched as she put a pair of sunglasses into the side of her bag but struggled to shove a shoebox inside the middle section. He couldn't help the smile that instantly appeared on his face. She hadn't changed one bit. "Becky." Two people called from opposite directions. She recognized one of them right away as her husband, but she couldn't figure out who the second person was. But when she looked into his eyes, she got a flash from the past. Homecoming- Sophomore Year "Excuse me miss, but what are you doing?" Becky turned quickly, expecting to see a teacher. Instead, she saw a boy about her age. "Um, don't mind me at all." "You do realize it's hard to miss you in your bright dress, right?" Becky mentally cursed herself; she should have known not to wear hot pink. "But can I inquire as to what you are doing?" "How old are you? No one in high school talks like that." He shrugged, and Becky looked both ways. "Ok, look. I'm hiding from someone." "I sort of figured." "Yes, well his name is Tom." "Just Tom? No surname?" "Oh, he has one, but I just call him Tom. Wait, who are you?" "I'm the American Transfer. My name is Cole Bradin. Yours?"

-8-

"Becky Bloomwood." "Becky." Cole said, liking the name on the tip of his tongue. "Yep, that's my name, don't wear it out." Present Oh God, it couldn't be. This had to be a joke.

passing out
Luke held Minnie in his arms, she kept trying to reach out for her mom but Becky Brandon was turned the opposite direction.

It was their 2 year anniversary. Cole was driving as Becky glowed in happiness. "Can you believe it Cole? We've been together for two years. No one can believe it, well I can't either really. It's just I never thought there'd be a perfect guy out there for me. Cause I mean I'm so happy, I don't even have an urge to shop!" Cole cracked a smile. "What's with the gloomy atmosphere didn't you enjoy tonight?" "Of course Bex, it was everything and more." "Then what's with the sad smile" Cole didn't answer. He parked the car and looked at Becky. "I have one last surprise this evening." He led Becky to their meadow. By their favorite tree was a quilt, a small lantern and chocolate. "Becky I have to tell you something." Becky looked up from her chocolate truffle. "Hmmm." "I've practically had a place reserved to me for Stanford since the day I was born. They've offered me early admittance that I can't not take." "But that's all the way in California." Becky said dropping her truffle. Her face looked absolutely horrified. Cole leaned in to touch Becky's face. "I know, I'm so sorry." He felt a tear slide through his fingers. Cole captured Becky in a devastating heartfelt kiss. Cole had leaned Becky down flat on the quilt. "Promise me you'll come back for me.
- 10 -

"I promise, I will no matter what even if you're with someone else. I don't care I'll always be yours." Cole brushed his lips against Becky's. The tears were still flowing but at a slower pace. That night they both lost their innocence to one another.

Present That face that Becky had when he told her about Stanford, it appeared again. But this time not because he was leaving but because he was there. It made his heart ache. "Cole Bradin is that really you? Or am I hallucinating." "Yes Bex." Cole gave her a soft smile. "Honey who's he?" Luke asked in a cool voice that masked his confusion. Becky turned to face her husband. She quickly smiled but it wasn't fast enough. Luke couldn't remember ever seeing that face. He'd seen several but sorrow, hope, despair all wrapped in one expression was new to him. Becky whom saw her daughter reaching out to her quickly took her. Cole looked at the beautiful baby girl in Becky's arms. She looked remarkably like the person holding her. Cole's heart was pounding and his head was screaming in agony. "Luke this is my he's my old- high school friend Cole Bradin. Cole this is my Luke he's my husband. That is his long time friend Michael Ellis. This here is Minnie, Minnie Brandon. She's-" "Our daughter." Luke said wrapping his arms around his wife. Luke didn't believe Becky one second when she said he was only an old friend. No guy looked at a woman like that if he was only an old friend. Not unless they shared something special. The two boys stared at each other. Each appraising the other. Cole flitted from looking at Becky who was not looking up into his eyes. The little girl and to the guy.
- 11 -

Luke. If Cole could help it he was never watching Star Wars ever again in his life. Luke automatically didn't like this Cole character. No man should ever look at a married woman like he did especially not his wife. "Do you happen to be the Cole Bradin. The star of A Dying Wish." Mike asked breaking the silence. "Yes." Becky looked up sharply and gasped. "Wow my wife and daughter loved you in that. I had to unplug the dvd player so that they would stop watching it for the fourth time. I'll have to get your signature. " "Of course it would be my pleasure." "I was curious I looked you up once. It said you were getting a doctorate at Stanford but you quit after 3 years. They said you disappeared to England and came back to storm Hollywood. How does one change from deciding to be a doctor to an entertainer. I've always been curious?" "My one girlfirned that I loved with every fiber of my being once wrote that for the perfect husband she wanted someone in the entertainment business. I went back to England to find her but she wasn't there. I tried every way to contact her but nothing worked. I couldn't look it up on the internet or the phone book. I even tried their address but no one was there. The neighbors refused to tell me they said I broke her heart and they were disgusted by me. So I decided I would become an entertainer then maybe one day she would see me in those magazines she reads. " Becky had to sit down, she could barely breathe and couldn't feel Minnie tugging on her hair for attention.

"Oh don't look at me like that. I know it's messy but you promised to help me clean up." Cole grunted as he rolled on Becky's bed, unfortunately he had rolled a little too far. "Oomph." Becky saw her boyfriend fall off her bed. Rolling her eyes but laughing slightly, "Serves you right."

- 12 -

"Thanks for the concern Bex." Cole said dryly. "You can take it." "Hmm what's this?" Cole said holding a piece of paper. "Top ten things Becky Bloomwood wants in a perfect mate." Cole said wiggling his eyebrows. Becky turned in shock and threw herself at the paper. "Don't read." Becky missed. "1. Must be drool worthy and make self envy of all the girls. 2. Must be rich. 3. Must be in entertainment business. 4. Must know brand names. 5. Likes to shop 6. Showers wonderful extraordinary gifts aka Ferragamo shoes. 7. Be super hot. 8. Be driven but not a workaholic. 9. Must have nice shoulders, eyes, hair, arms, voice tremor, and personality. 10. Must know this list by heart. Sheesh Bex this is a mighty hard list. So which ones do I fall under?" "I'm offended. I'm drool worthy but not hot. Now that's an oxymoron if I ever heard one." Becky laughed. "Sorry bud but you're as cool as a feathered cucumber." "Feathered cucumber?" Cole said confused. Just in time Becky hit him straight in the face with her pillow.

Present Luke bent down and took Minnie. Who was soon passed to Mike. Luke bent down again and felt her forehead. It was burning. "Becky are you ok?" Becky looked at him with wide eyes then turned to look at their guest. "Cole you didn't." Becky as always the drama queen, but this time for real she passed out.

- 13 -

Chapter 4
"Becky. Becky honey." Becky smiled. It was the delicious tremor of her husband. "Hi." Becky said sounding dreamily. "Are you okay?" "Hmm. I had this bizarre dream, you and I came face to face with my ex-boyfriend." Luke's eyes widened, shock permeated on his face. "Um Bex it wasn't a dream." Cole said smiling wirily. Becky snapped out of her haze. "Did I just say that out loud?"

Luke and Cole appraised each other. "It was nice meeting you." Luke said not entirely sincere. "You too." Cole said similarly. Luke carried Becky while Mike carried Minnie. Luke placed his sleeping wife on their bed and Minnie in her cradle. He gave a kiss on both their foreheads. "Luke I've got to get back to my hotel, will you be ok?" "Yeah thanks for everything Mike." "No problem."

Luke quickly got on his computer after seeing Michael out. He typed in Cole Bradin. Sure enough he had information about Bradin. There were names for his movies, actresses and models he had allegedly dated. His fan sites and much more. It wasn't until he got to the 114th site did he find something interesting.
- 14 -

Luke looked at the picture. The picture terrified him in so many ways. It was Becky's old high school website. The page he was on had a picture of a couple. The girl was in the boy's arms and gripped his arms while looking adoringly at him. The boy looked down at the girl; he had a smile as if saying he was the luckiest guy in the world. There was a caption and a small article. Cutest Couple: Becky & Cole. Becky: (laughing as she blushes) Cole's my present and future I don't know what I would do without him. He's my world and no one will ever take his place. Best of all he loves to shop with me. Cole: (leans down to kiss the top of Becky's head) Bex is my life from now and ever. She's the sun in my life. I couldn't live without her. I need her more than I need air. Luke closed his eyes absorbing everything in. He'd always known that Becky had a life outside of him but it didn't don on him so much until now. Logic always told him that he probably wasn't Becky's first love just like she wasn't his. But this Cole guy was much more threatening than any of his exes combined. Luke knew that the look Becky had tried to mask earlier today was solely for and about Cole. And the girl in Cole's story was no doubt Becky plus the neighbors had to be Janice and Martin. The last thought made him smile but the smile disappeared as Luke heard a moan come from their bedroom. "Cole don't leave, no come back please." Becky moaned rolling around, the bed sheets twisting her in a cocoon. Luke stood at the doorway paralyzed. Fear and anguish flowed through his body. Luke approached the bed and rested beside his wife. He ran a hand through her hair. Becky relaxed a little now. Luke pulled her close. She relaxed in his arms and snuggled to him. Becky had stopped stirring but Luke didn't want to let go of her, he felt if he let go now he might never get her back. He didn't want to get up and change out of his clothes. He wanted to hold his wife to him. For the first time in a long while Luke Brandon was scared.

- 15 -

Becky woke up starving. She tried to get out of bed but found she couldn't. A pair of arms held her tightening when she had tried to get up. Becky turned to look at her husband. Becky was concerned when she found her husband still in all his clothes. This was a first. "Luke, Luke?" He only stirred but his grip tightened. Becky huffed though not in exasperation. Becky leaned in to kiss him on the lips. Luke responded before opening his eyes very slowly. "That's a nice way to wake up." Luke said rolling them so he was on the top. "I thought it might be." Becky said before deepening the kiss. Sure she was hungry but food was the last thing on her mind.

Chapter 5
"How about we have a family outing today. Just the three of us?" Luke suggested as he made them breakfast. Becky who was feeding Minnie looked up. "You don't have work today?" "Nope. I called the office this morning to tell them about their three days of vacation. Everybody was very excited, I assure you. I thought we could visit your parents. I bet they're dying to take Minnie to a Flea Market." Becky made a face at him. Luke only chuckled. "My baby girl will learn to love the real kind of shopping like her Mommy." Becky cooed. "God forbid." "You better be nicer, if it stays like this you're sleeping on the floor at my parent's house." Becky said standing up defiantly. Luke arched his eyebrow. "Oh really." "Yes." "We'll see about that." Luke winked. Cole sat on the luxury bus along with the director, producer, the screen writer, and his major co-stars. The others were on a bus much more crowded and less extravagant. "Bradin my man you were right, Oxshott is the perfect place to shoot. We checked it out yesterday. It's the perfect scenery. So green, so lush, so homely. I knew I hired you for a reason." The director boasted. "You didn't hire me for my acting abilities?" "Or his devastating good looks?" Annabel Sweetin his co-star piped in. Everybody on the bus laughed. Cole just gave a small boyish grin. Annabel Sweetin's heart fluttered as she saw Cole's lady killer grin. Out of all the others she had ever acted with, Cole was in a league of her own. He was handsome, a complete gentlemen, and he didn't want her. Which just made her want him more. Becky looked behind her to see Minnie falling asleep in her car seat. Both parents laughed as the faint breathing of their daughter turned to soft snores. "Well she inherited something from you." Luke teased. "Hey! This is your second warning. One more and you are on the floor." Luke smiled, taking one hand off the wheel to take Becky's hand. "Of course honey." "I am completely serious!" Luke only squeezed her hand. "Cole do you want to go through the lines? Get some practice before the actual filming?" "No thanks, Annabel." Cole said looking up from his book. "Oh. What are you looking at?" "My high school year book." "Wow you still have yours? I lost mine years ago. I remember, my yearbook picture that year was even perfect. It looked like I had this windblown hair, and my make up was perfect" Cole had zoned out after the second sentence. He continued to stare at the picture of Becky standing there in her Turquoise prom dress. Her date was her ex-boyfriend and his best friend Adam. Cole fingered the picture. He had missed their Senior prom, and so he
- 17 -

had asked his best friend and consequently Becky's ex, to take her to the prom for him. The two never or got back together while he was gone, but it still hurt to see the picture. He should've been the one in the picture with his arm around her waist. The picture blurred and instead of Adam, it was Luke Brandon now holding Becky. Cole squeezed his eyes shut and opened them. It was Adam's face again. "Becky, Luke, Minnie!" Becky's mom yelled flying out the door as the car approached. Becky had yet to open her door before her Mom had yanked open the back car door. "My darling granddaughter." "Hello to you too Mom." Becky said looking out the window at her mother and her daughter. "Hullo Mum." Luke said leaning on the car hood also observing the two. "Come come, you must all be very hungry. I just made some lasagna." Mrs. Bloomwood said walking toward the house without a glance back. She was bouncing Minnie whom giggled at the top of her lungs. Luke had a cheeky smile on as he faced his wife. He nodded his head toward his mother in law with a slightly arched look. "It's my mother what else did you expect? She's been asking for a grandchild since I was 25." Luke bit his lip. "Really? You never told me that before." "Well it wasn't important before." Becky teased. Cole stepped off the Bus and felt as if he had just stepped off a time machine. Nothing here in Oxshott had changed at all. "Today we will be filming in the village square. So everybody set up please. Bradin, Sweetin, please go to makeup." The producer yelled. "You guys are only staying three days?" Mrs. Bloomwood asked shocked. "That's not enough time, I wanted to take you three to the open plaza." "Open Plaza don't you mean Flea Market honey?" Mr. Bloomwood asked. "Well yes, but it looks much nicer like a thrift shop but better." Luke nearly choked on his piece of lasagna trying not to laugh. Becky gave him a small glare. "Mother it's ok." "No it's not all 5 of us can go after you two finish the lasagna and Minnie finishes this bottle. It will be fun. All 5 of us a family. I cannot tell you how long I have dreamt of this." She sighed. Becky mentally groaned and looked to see her husband's reaction. He had on a smile that always got to her. Then he mouthed. I love your mum. Yes this man sitting across from her was beyond perfect though he did have quirks that Becky didn't always appreciate but she loved them in her own way. But he could drive her up the wall with how smart he was. Yes Luke was everything and more than she ever wanted or dreamed of. Seeing Cole again was a major shock because she would never say it but he still held a flame to her heart, a small one but it was there nonetheless. After all she had given so much of herself to him and in a way they had never had a true goodbye just a promise to see each other again. Past

Becky wore jean shorts and his Stanford shirt. The shirt engulfed Becky but she didn't care for style today. "My plane's boarding in 10 minutes." Cole said limply. Becky looked up to her boyfriend's eyes. "Don't go. Stay here. Let's go through our Senior year together." Becky said starting to cry. Cole dropped his bag and wrapped his arms around her. "I want to Bexs. So badly. But you and I both know I can't. but I will be back for you. Maybe tomorrow or maybe in 5 years. I don't know, but I will be back for you but I hope you will still accept me when I do." Present. "Oh my the Plaza's crowded today." Mrs. Bloomwood exclaimed. Luke nodded looking briefly and then focused on finding a parking spot. "Luke there's one right there next to that trailer." Becky pointed. "I see." Luke was getting out the pram as Becky and her mom were getting Minnie out. Mr. Bloomwood had decided to skip exclaiming that Jim had needed his help today. "Becky?" Luke's ears perked up at the all too familiar voice a voice he had just recently met and hoped not to see ever again. But fate seemed to want otherwise.

Chapter 6
"Cole Bradin, is that really you boy?" Mrs. Bloomwood asked dropping her tote bag. Cole gave a trademark toothy grin. "Yes Mrs. Bloomwood." "Oh my." She said as she got closer. "You're just as handsome as ever." Mrs. Bloomwood touched his face then pinched his cheeks and sighed. Cole gave a small laugh. "Thanks Mrs. Bloomwood." "Bah call me Jane, you would think after dating Becky for two years you would've learned." Becky watched horrified as her mother practically pawed he ex. Luke looked but was not sure how to react. But who would? Your mother-in-law touching your wife's ex. He'd never heard of that before but what did he expect. Becky's family was far from predictable. Cole searched for Becky's eyes. After a while he got them. His green eyes pierced into hers. Becky's face flushed remembering other times he would look at her like that. Past Becky sat in the bath reading her fashion magazine. With the sound of a cough she almost dropped her magazine into the bath. She looked up alarmed but saw who it was. "Oh my gods! Cole Bradin you scared the bloody hell out of me." Cole just laughed. "How'd you get in?" "Your parents were leaving to go to polka lessons as I dropped by. They let me in." "My parents! Ugh should've known. I love them but they are so embarrassing." Becky said sinking into her bubble bath. Cole sat down on the stool near the towels. He looked at her over the bubbles. Bex's tendrils were in a single clippie that looked like one of those romance movies she always made him watch with her. It looked easy but Cole would bet 100 that it had taken her an hour to get it to look like that. "Can you hand me my towel please Cole?" "I don't know, I'm liking the view in my head." "Cole!" Becky blushed furiously. Cole laughed as he handed her a towel. Becky gingerly got out of the bath and made sure to cover herself. The towel was wrapped around her body snug. It stopped barely mid thigh. Before she got completely away from the tub, Cole leaned in, causing her to sit on the edge of the tub. Becky looked up into Cole's face. His eyes held one emotion. Hunger.
- 20 -

Cole knew his eyes were radiating his emotion. But he couldn't have stopped it if he tried. Then he leaned closer to Bex brushing his lips against hers. Present Luke resisted the urge to growl as he saw the actor staring at his wife in Lust. Cole always had envisioned Becky holding a baby girl close to her. But in his visions always had her holding his babies not another man's. Luke wrapped his arms around his wife for what it seemed to be a common occurrence near this man. He'd never felt that he had to prove his relationship to anyone ever before until he met Cole Bradin. He couldn't help but need to show this man that the woman he kept staring at was not Becky Bloomwood anymore. She was Becky Bloomwood BRADON. Luke gave Cole a penetrating look. Cole gave him a grin as if he was challenging him. Luke tightened his hold on his wife.

- 21 -

Chapter 7
Becky couldn't believe her mom. She always knew her mom was probably a little crazy but oh lord how her and her dad had never noticed that she was a little not well in the head. Wasn't it like an ingrained rule that you NEVER invite your daughter's EX- boyfriend to lunch with you, your daughter, and her HUSBAND? All five stood there waiting for the hostess. Luke had to take a call so he gave Minnie to Becky and reluctantly gave Cole the bag full of Minnie stuff. Just as Luke left, two women came up to them, stars practically in their eyes. They weren't wearing much, and what they wore seemed to show more than it managed to conceal especially now that they were sticking their barley clad tops. "Are you the Cole Bradin?" One woman squealed. Cole gave a friendly smile and nodded. Becky covered Minnie's ears and tried to warn her mum. But it was a little late. The two women squealed loud enough to rattle the hostess that was at the other end of the restaurant. Past Cole and Becky and some of their classmates had to volunteer for the junior high school play. It wasn't bad most of the time. Some of the kids were totally adorable to Becky but there were enough to count, that drove her up the wall. They would turn their noses at her because they wore such things as authentic Betsy Johnson and their Louis Vuitton bags. But that wasn't what really drove her nuts it was how they seemed to stick out their training braed chests at Cole. Ok maybe she wasn't sure they were wearing training bras but it sure made her feel better. Becky was helping a girl paint a mural, which she wasn't so good at but at least the thing was drawn on in pencil and she only had to paint in the right spots but it was a lot harder than it looked especially since she was wearing a cute ruffled black half mini she had found 60% off, so it was practically a steal. She pulled it off with a faux cashmere mint green cardigan. She would have to not only try to keep from flashing all the adolescent boys whom since she'd got in today had been watching very intently. One had even had the audacity to turn on the large fan though Cole had turned it off and sweetly told the boy to pretty much scram. After that her least favorite person came in. Kitty Wernie. She was the leader of the training bra groupies. But she was also in the Nile. In the Nile that Cole was hers and Becky would've gladly ripped those extensions off her head if she touched him one more time. Becky noticed that she was walking a bit odd. Kitty passed her
- 22 -

with a smirk. As she walked passed, Becky got a good view of the orange thong. Becky sniffled a giggle as the others passed her all wearing the ridiculous under wear and all walking in a oddly hysterical butt wiggling motion. While they thought it might've been sexy, it was just beyond funny. These girls were not yet teenagers yet here they were wearing their thongs for all to see too bad they never got the memo that thongs were horribly uncomfortable, and even if you wore them. Well it wouldn't be that effective until they learned how to handle them like learning to walk like a normal person not a monkey on heels. "Hi girls." "Hi Cole." All five chorused. Becky rolled her eyes at his obliviousness. "How do you like our ensemble?" Kitty purred gesturing to their matching out fits. Everyone had on a pair of tight jeans, the thongs of course and a low cut black top that might have been more effective if they had a chest. Except Kitty had a white top to make herself really pop out. Becky noted with satisfaction that she saw a faint out line of what looked to be a training bra. "You all look lovely this morning." He said giving them a boyish grin. All five of the girls screamed. Everyone in proximity cringed and covered their ears. Present Things hadn't changed that much considering the female population and Cole Bradin, he still made girls scream including her Cole watched in envy as he saw the little girl he found out was Minnie sitting in Luke's lap, palming through the menu. Sitting across from them, Cole couldn't help but think that if he hadn't left all those years again, he would be the one with a beautiful baby sitting on his lap playing with the menu, whom would look a little of him and Bex. "So you're an actor now?" "Yes, Jane. I'm not very popular in England though." "Really I was wondering because those girls who were fawning all over you and asking for your autograph." "Oh them, well I guess I'm sort of popular in America and those girls were most likely American." He said smiling humbly.

Chapter 8
Sorry it took so long. But here's the new ! You should all probably thank Maddy for getting me me to rush more. Review if you have any good ideas or send me an e-mail about a situation you think would be good for the story. I have some more but they are running pretty thin and get less and less creative. Sigh. Thanks all those that have been devoted readers.

Cole was saying goodbye and helping Luke put the bags into the car when a voice asked. "Cole what are you doing here? I thought you were headed back to London?" Everybody looked up from their table. Standing there stood a beautiful brunette with bright blue eyes. To Becky, she was just about the most beautiful women she had ever met and looked really familiar. "Wasn't it lovely to see Cole again. My that boy could make any women swoon with just a smile." "Oh my god Mum." Becky said embarrassed before burying her face into her husband's chest. "Oh don't mum me. Anyhow, let me put my darling granddaughter away so you two can enjoy your evening." Jane said as she picked up Minnie and softly tickling her stomach. "Oh you would always coo at me whenever I did this and then you would get this look like you were about to pass-" "Mother!" Becky cried as Luke started shaking in laughter. Becky glared at her husband as he settled in the bed. "Honey you can't blame me. You know your mother always makes me laugh like that. Just like you. You two are a lot alike" "I am not." "No you are right, your mother believes in non name brand clothing and being money wise-er. You not so much." "Are you sure you aren't confusing her, with Jessica." Becky said grumpily.
