X-arm Overview
X-arm mount is a motorized mount for TVs from 40 to 60, weighing up to 180 pounds. Xarm allows a viewer to adjust the viewing angle of the TV with the touch of a remote control button. In the retracted position, the TV is 4.6 from the wall. Activating X-arm smoothly extends the TV away from the wall about 12 allowing you to swivel the TV from side to side and tilt it up and down. As X-arm mount extends the TV from the wall, a bellows extends with the TV to cover the X-arm actuators and all of TV cables within the bellows. This gives X-arm a clean look.

2 x 4

2. Drill mounting holes

2-1. Tape the poster to the wall so that the mounting hole marks line up with studs. 2-2. Level the poster. 2-3. Drill 6 holes with a 1/4 (6mm) drill bit, 2-1/2 deep in the locations indicated on the poster. 2-4. Remove the poster and go to step 3, Hang the wall plate, on the next page.

Concrete Wall Installation 1. Obtain anchors

Walls with metal studs, concrete, brick or cinder block require special anchors that are not supplied. Consult your local hardware store for anchors and screws suitable for these surfaces. An anchor that was tested with X-arm is the 3/8 X 1-3/4 LAG SHIELD part number 00524 from Crown Bolt, Inc, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, which can be purchased at your local hardware store.
