Continuous Hinge Enclosures
The screw cover fberglass enclosure can be used indoors or outdoors to
provide protection against dust, dirt, oil and water. It is designed for use
as a terminal wiring box, instrumentation housing or electrical control
enclosure.
CONSTRUCTION
The screw cover enclosures are constructed of compresslon molded, berglass
relnforced polyester wlth stalnless steel captlve cover screws. The cover gasket ls
a contlnuous urethane materlal. A stalnless steel retalnlng chaln ls attached to the
cover and enclosure. Panel mountlng lnserts are molded to lnterlor of enclosure.
Lxternal mountlng feet are also molded to enclosure. Machlne tool gray color.
PANELS
Optlonal panels are avallable. Panels fabrlcated of 0.080" alumlnum.
STANDARDS
All screw cover berglass enclosures conform to the Natlonal Llectrlcal
Manufacturers Assoclatlon (NLMA) standard for Type 3 (Dust-tlght, Palntlght and
Sleet/|ce Peslstant), Type 4X (watertlght, Dust-tlght and Corroslon Peslstant), Type
l2 (Dust-tlght) and Type 6P (Prolonged Submerslon ln water). They are llsted by
Underwrlters Laboratorles, |nc. (UL) for Canada and the Unlted States.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Custom unlts wlth holes punched and operators lnstalled can be supplled.
