What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

Dedication
The Holy Scriptures (and history) tells us where there is no vision, the people perish. The Holy Scriptures also tell us righteousness exalts a nation.

Excellence in a nation requires righteous and truthful politicians, with a vision for a better future, for every citizen who lives in that nation, irrespective of their ethnicity, race, colour, religious or political beliefs. 1

The book is dedicated to the people who came to Australia as convicts and free men, and who hacked out a life and vision for what they wanted this nation to become. Through trials and strife, they battled on until they have established themselves as a nation, at Federation in 1901. To the people who went to the First World War, because they believed in our Christian heritage, our democratic form of government, and the freedom to become your own man or woman, in whatever discipline you chose to enter, I am grateful for their dedication and sacrifices. To the people who came back from the Second World War, with a vision, and a determination to make Australia a greater nation. Their vision was to turn this dry and thirsty land into an oasis, by damming the eastern flowing rivers, and re-directing these water flows back into the interior of this nation, thus providing opportunities for new industries, towns, jobs, and a better standard of living for all Australians. The visionaries, in the Federal Parliament at that time, recognised they did not have the skills, or the expertise within the government services, to design and manage such a visionary project. They enacted a bill to create the Snowy Mountains Authority, that was charged with the design and engineering responsibility, to institute this major project. This project has been acclaimed worldwide, as one of the greatest engineering projects of the 20th Century2. So in 2011, some sixty years later, we look for other visionaries, people, who can see into the future, and determine what, how, and where, Australia should become by 2050; that is, one hundred years after the Snowy Mountains Authority was created, and one hundred and fifty years after Federation of this nation.

1 2

Rev. Dr. Jeffry Camm, 2011 Maybe it was such a great engineering project, because it was outside of political influence and hence the right engineering decisions were made, irrespective of how much it costs.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? As a person who has been undertaking international projects to develop master plans for nations, looking at periods of twenty-five years into the future, I look at problems and issues differently than most people who read this book. All I can do, is identify issues that I feel must be considered, when making this vision into a reality, and hope that others may take on the challenge of completing this project, to its successful conclusion, as it is unlikely that I will be around to see its implementation to a successful completion. If I am still alive, I will be more than 100 years old. So if you are an Australian, living in this great nation right now, I dedicate this book to you, and challenge you to make this nation a better place for your children and your grandchildren.

Foreword
This book is not a textbook about how to plan for the future. What it should do, is challenge the hearts and minds of every Australian, as I raise questions about the future wellbeing of your children and grandchildren. Whether you realise it or not, there is a battle going on in this nation right now, for the hearts and minds of our young people (your children). Whoever is able to influence their hearts and minds in their formative years, will be inputting information, which they will use, as the basis for business decisions and government policy, in the next generation. Some questions, for example, Do you want your children to live in a Christian, or a Muslim country? This question should get a response from most persons reading this book. Another question I will ask. It is predicted that 42.6 million people will be living in Australia by 2050. Where will they live? How will they live? What standards of education and job security do you want for your children and grandchildren among this mass of people?

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Interested, now please read on, and make up your own minds, then go and tell your local politicians to get up off their backsides and start planning for the future of your children and grandchildren, - and also for your retirement!!!

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION

Like all good planners and visionaries, we must set a goal that we are trying to achieve; or otherwise, we will never know we have arrived, when we get there, or how successful we have been, in trying to achieve our gaols and/or our objectives.

Set goals

Plan & design

Construct

Review data after every 10 years

Reach modified goals, based upon more accurate data than when the planning cycle commenced

Modify construction if necessary

Change plans if necessary

Simplified Planning Cycle

For the past sixty years, Australia seems to have lost its spiritual and national identity, and direction. It has just drifted along, without any sense of purpose. Every time there is a change in government, there is a change in direction, without any consideration for the overall planning or objectives, which have been set in motion by previous governments. It is as though the nation has lost its spiritual leadership and direction, and now is like a ship without a rudder, or a captain without any navigation skills, being pushed this way or that, purely at the mercy of the global forces in place, at various times over this period. As a result, projects get shelved, delayed, or even cancelled, resulting in wastage, of precious taxpayers funds. Whether politicians realise it or not, there are some issues, which are above party politics. These are: Truth and Spiritual direction, the National Interest, the Goals and Aspirations of the people, the Welfare of the people, the Defence and Protection of the people, and Forward Planning of this nation, all fall into this category.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Planning for these issues must be developed using least-cost, long-term solutions, as defined by the UNDP3 Guidelines, (to which Australia is a signatory) and go on to completion, irrespective of which political party is in power. It would be ludicrous, if one government started to build a dam, which takes many years to construct, and the next government came into power and shelved or stopped the project. This would be an irresponsible act, and a waste of precious government revenues, (that is Taxpayers money), which governments are entrusted to use as good stewards. Many Australian experts have gone overseas to teach these UNDP guidelines in developing countries, but unfortunately most planners in Local & Regional Councils, State Government departments and in the Federal Government fail to use these well-proven methods, back here within Australia. For example: If it is identified by the Federal and/or State governments, that a new multi-storey hospital building is needed in 2015, in a specific city, with its maximum capacity to be completed by 2030, there are several options which can be utilised, to achieve a Long-term, Least-cost solution. Two options are given below to explain the differences in concepts and how Least-cost, long-term planning can be more cost effective. Option 1 We could build a single storey building now, to be completed to meet the immediate needs of 2015, and then construct a second building, adjacent to the first, to meet the final building needs. There are several significant disadvantages with this option. 1. Foundations, construction, and all services have to be duplicated in both buildings, which results in significant extra equipment and maintenance costs. 2. The costs for the second building will include inflation increases, without gaining any advantages, for these additional financial costs. 3. This option will require a large block of land, which obviously costs more. 4. The flow and efficiency of medical services will be affected, because of two buildings, and maybe even disrupted, as the linking of the two buildings takes place. Option 2 We could design a multi-storey building now, with the foundations and all services constructed, and equipped to meet the ultimate completed building size, but only construct the floors necessary now, to meet the immediate needs for 2015. The advantages of this option are as follows:
3

United Nations Development Planning Guidelines

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? 1. Smaller piece of land hence reduced real estate costs. 2. All services are initially designed and implemented at todays prices for the ultimate building size, but provisioned for only the floors needed for the 2015 immediate requirements. 3. The flow of medical services is greatly improved, as all services are within the same building and accessible by the same vertical lift systems. 4. If at any time after 2105, the need for expansion is identified to be earlier than expected in 2030, then the construction of the additional floors can be implemented, without causing any interference to the existing medical services. 5. Once completed, the extended and expanded building is now adequate to meet perceived future demands before they arise, hence no reduction in efficiency, increased medical waiting lists, or reduced medical standards. The lessons learned, is that infrastructure that is provided before it is needed, is always more cost effective, and allows better flow of investment opportunities and services, than infrastructure that is supplied long after it is identified and needed. We only have to look at the spiralling costs, associated with the water grid systems in southeast Queensland, or the road infrastructure and rail systems now being implemented, to try to alleviate the traffic gridlock in Brisbane, and the ever-increasing costs of electricity right across the nation. This is because there have been no visionaries, to provide further, adequate, low-cost electricity generation sources in Australia, since the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric scheme, in the 1950s, over sixty years ago.

One of the major failures of planners within Australia in the last 50 years has been the failure to foresee needs, adequately plan, and implement infrastructural projects, before they are needed.

As a result, many businesses have chosen to take their manufacturing facilities overseas, where infrastructure is more efficiently provided, and where tax concessions are offered to start up new businesses. As a result, there are inadequate electricity supplies, sewerage services, storm water management and drainage, and lack of an adequate coordinated transport services, in new residential and/or estates, unless they are supplied by the estate developer. Services like coordinated transport, however cannot be supplied by the developer, or the private sector, as legislation requires that these services are to be supplied by government monopoly transport corporations, which are usually, too top heavy in management, and not very effectively run businesses either. 8

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Most of these are running at a loss, unless they have been privatized and given over to the private sector to manage and run, with the state being a shareholder and getting a dividend from the profits each year. It is sad that not one export-processing zone [EPZ] has been established within Australia, which allows manufacturers to import products duty free, provided they are used for valued added services, with eighty per cent of the products being re-exported from the zone to other markets, as finished products Made in Australia. EPZs are very effective. They retain highly skilled workers within the country. The tax breaks offered by overseas governments, where they already exist, allow businesses to start up with less business capital, hence faster profit returns. This means EPZs are investment drawcards, which Australia really needs. Twenty per cent of the products manufactured within an EPZ, are permitted for sale, within the manufacturing country, without any penalty. This makes these products more competitive than products made in other overseas countries. If Australia had EPZs, we would not be complaining that we are losing jobs to overseas countries and markets, where salaries are more competitive. These jobs would remain here, on Australian soil, and as a result, would continue to assist local businesses, in the follow-on supply of raw materials, which can be provided to the EPZs from within Australia. The Predicted Population Explosion. The Australian Bureau of Statistics, have predicted that Australia will have a projected population of over forty two (42) million people by 20504. POPULATION SIZE AND GROWTH Australia's Estimated Resident Population (ERP) at 30 June 2007 of 21.0 million people is projected to increase to between 30.9 and 42.5 million people by 2056, and to between 33.7 and 62.2 million people by 2101. Series A projects the highest growth, while Series C projects the lowest growth.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? PROJECTED POPULATION, AUSTRALIA

This figure assumes the following factors: 1. The present birth rate will continue among the population. 2. The present immigration policies will continue, with the same percentage of migrants allowed each year. 3. The predicted extended ages of people born in Australia will continue to rise over the next forty years, with men living into their mid-seventies and eighties, and women living into their mid-eighties and nineties. 4. There are no major wars in the next forty years, in which Australia participates. Based upon these predictions, many questions will arise. Let us look at just one of these questions here, in this introductory chapter.

If there is to be a population of forty two million people by 2050, WHERE WILL THEY LIVE?

1 As climate change scientists, make predictions that indicate there will be a rise in sea levels, of more than one metre, within the next one hundred years, will the Federal Government take immediate steps, to change the planning policies, to restrict where councils can allocate land for residential development, near coastal shorelines? This change in policy will prevent flooding of houses and resorts, in future cyclones and adverse weather patterns, which are predicted, will increase over the next forty years. The floods of December 2010, in three states, the Inland Tsunami on 10th January 2011 in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley, and the flooding of Ipswich, Brisbane and other towns and cities across Queensland, as well as Cyclone Yasi, (with storm surges of up to seven metres) are stark reminders of what will happen more regularly in the future. 10

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? 2 Will the Federal Government establish plans to create more inland cities, to cater for the influx of people predicted above? a. If this is the case, where will these cities be? b. How will they be planned? c. Will they be residential sprawls, or high-density cities, or a combination of both? d. Will they have sustainable, renewable, clean, wind and/or solar energy sources? e. Where will their sustainable water supplies come from? f. Will they use various forms of recycled water? g. How will they interconnect to the national road, and rail networks? h. Will they have their own airports? i. Who will decide what new manufacturing and/or agricultural services will be promoted in these regions? j. Who will decide on the levels of protection for endangered flora and fauna, measured against the needs for future development? k. Who will decide if mining, or other resource industries, will be permissible in these regions? l. How will these new inland cities be integrated into the existing Council structures? m. What will be the impact on present electoral boundaries, if these cities are created? n. Will this change the number of lower house seats in each state? o. Will this change the number of senate seats in each state? p. How will this change affect the number of lower house, and senate seats, in the Federal Parliament? q. Who will be responsible for providing infrastructure services in these new cities? essential funding for

i. For example; Water, sewerage, electricity, gas, waste disposals, wastewater management and public transport services. ii. Who will provide the finances and planning for additional schools, hospitals, medical services, sporting facilities, retirement villages, and all other facilities? r. In view of the predicted climate change requirements, and a proposed tax on carbon emissions, will the Federal Government

11

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? make it mandatory that all shipments of goods must be moved by rail, instead of masses of gas guzzling, carbon generating trucks? s. The use of trucks to be only allowed to move shipments from the supplier to the loading centres, and then collecting the shipments at the receiving centres, to be delivered to the wholesalers, for local distribution. I only asked one planning question. Where will they live?, but this will require many other questions to be answered, before an adequate vision, and master plan, can be designed, planned, funded, and implemented, in logical, cost effective, project blocks. But before we go forward into the future, let us go back in time and look out our past history, and see if we can learn from it.

CHAPTER TWO: DISCOVERING AUSTRALIAS CHRISTIAN HERITAGE5. In the book entitled: Discovering Australia,6 the author identifies many items of evidence (from both Portuguese and Spanish writings) to prove that there were visits by other civilisations to this continent, prior to Captain James Cook in 1770. He points out that the Portuguese, the Spanish, the French, the Dutch, and even the Chinese, were here on our shores in the 16th century, long before the British even considered exploring the Pacific Ocean. However, this only touches the surface of this interesting topic, as we look back further in time and find out that other researchers have found concrete evidence that explorers came to this continent in Old Testament times. There is evidence they established communities here with productive mining ventures as well. As far back as the Old Testament times, there are references to a Land in the South - the land of Sinim7. Pyramids in Australia The town of Gympie, near Tin Can Bay, north of Brisbane, Queensland, is the most unlikely site of a pyramid complex. The first Europeans to come into the area in the 1830s learned of their existence, from the now extinct Kabi speaking people of Gympie, known then as the Dhamuri. According to the Aboriginals of that time, brown skinned, blue eyed, blondhaired beings, with Dolphin pendants around their necks, came from the star Orion, and built the pyramids and the temple sites, but water came in and destroyed it all a long time ago. The ruins were taboo to the aboriginals, clearly indicating that they had not built them. The early European settlers took the stones of the pyramids and other buildings and used them as foundation stones for the buildings in the main street of Gympie, including the local church wall, which still stands today. There were stone statues, like the Easter Island statues and also animal statues. These have since been destroyed, or are hidden, but photos and sketches of them remain, from the first white men to come into the area. It is also possible that the early mines and tunnels discovered under the pyramids in Gympie were in fact the tunnels used by the inhabitants of the area at that time, to mine the gold and export it back to Egypt and/or to Israel, to be used in the making of the Holy Temple by King Solomon. It is believed that this temple at Gympie was built at a much later date, than the first migrants to come to mine at Gympie (long before 1000 BC). The temple was believed to be constructed, around 900 BC.

Ancient Egypt Link with Australia8 - The Early Egyptian Explorers There is significant evidence that the ancient civilisations were well aware of the Great South Land. There are both Sumerian and Mayan traditions, of a lost motherland", in the Pacific. Australia appears under the name of "Antoecie" on the famous spherical world map of Crates of Mallos, and appearing on the Greek map of Eratosthenes in 239 BC. It seems certain that the maritime civilisations of antiquity were quite capable of extensive ocean voyages, particularly the early Egyptians, as evidenced by Giza's remarkable "Tomb of the Boat". In the 1950's, a streamlined 4,500-year-old, hundred foot long oceangoing vessel, was excavated from right next to the Great Pyramid. In 1991, an entire fleet of even older boats was found buried in the desert at Abydos in Upper Egypt. According to the Cairo Times in 1982, archaeologists working at Fayum, near the Siwa Oasis uncovered fossils of kangaroos and other Australian marsupials, clearly indicating that there must have been some contact between the early Egyptian and Aborigine civilisations. Boomerangs There is the strange set of three golden boomerangs, discovered by Prof. Carter in Egypt, in the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. There are also drawings of boomerangs being thrown by an Egyptian warrior, in their burial tombs drawings. It is not clear who invented the boomerangs, but evidence clearly indicates that there was technology transfer and communication between these two nations.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Some more rock drawings found in Australia and other Evidence There are many rock drawings found in locations around Australia, which are not drawn by the aboriginals.9

In 1875 the Shevert expedition retrieved a mummified corpse and an example of the canoe used in funerary rites from Darnley Island. World-renowned medical scientist, Sir Raphael Cilento, who examined the corpse, stated the incisions and method of embalming to be the same as those employed in Egypt during the 21st to 23rd dynasties - over 2900 years ago.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Other names that Other Civilizations used to refer to Australia Greeks used the term Ausio. It is clear from this and other evidence that the Greek maritime and geographical knowledge was far more advanced than many scholars of later years have given them credit. Eratosthenes, the Greek Scholar drew a world map as a sphere, on which he described the great southern continent as Ausio. It is interesting to note that in 239 BC, Greek people knew that the world was round NOT FLAT, as was told by the people in the reformation times in Europe and in Britain. In 239 BC, Theopompus of Chios (drew a similar map and wrote that far beyond India there was a great island where Australia is now situated.) 300 BC. The Duyfken voyage10 In March 1606, the small Dutch ship the Duyfken, sailed from the Indonesian island of Banda (Java) in search of gold and trade opportunities, on the fabled island of Nova Guinea. Under the command of Willem Janszoon, the Duyfken and her crew ventured southeast. They sailed beyond Os Papuas, (Papua New Guinea), and explored and chartered part of the coast of Nova Guinea. They did not find gold - but they did find the northern coast of a huge continent, Australia.
10

The replica Duyfken on its replica voyage to Australia in March 2006

17

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Captain Janszoon was the first European, to map and record Australia in history, so Duyfkens voyage marks the beginning of Australian recorded history. Captain Janszooon mapped more than 300 miles of the Queensland coastline. In March 2006 (400 years later,) this voyage was re-enacted, so that part of the true history of this nation is made known to more people. The voyage of Captain Pedro Fernandez De Quiros 1605 1606, who claimed all of the land from Vanuatu to the South Pole for Jesus Christ, not any man-made kingdom. He called this discovery The Southland of the Holy Spirit.. Early Maps of Australia before Captain Cook. These maps are hanging, for all interested Australians to see, in the Jubilee Room of the NSW Parliament, but unfortunately, they are not taught in our schools. The question is. Why Not? Early Sailors & Explorers

Now we have had this diversion about early Old Testament history, let us get back to the sailors and the explorers of more modern times. Early European sailors would have used the North Star as their main reference, for sailing at night, just as the Vikings and other seafaring nations of the northern hemisphere in earlier times. In the book Discovering Australia, (page 100), it indicates that the travellers in the period 1503-1508 were told by the captain of their vessel, that they had travelled so far south, that they were now unable to use the North Star as a reference point for accurate direction. They would instead use a compass, which pointed North as was the custom of European captains. As a second check, the captain referred to a bright star, among five stars which clearly showed him the opposite direction to North (being south).

18

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? The stars were identified from drawings to be the Southern Cross. He also stated that if they travelled past the large island called Giava they would find that the days were only about 4 hours long. If this is compared to later maps, we see that at 15 south of Australia, this situation does in fact occur, because you would be approaching the continent of Antarctica. It is therefore possible that in this period of time (1500-1508) sailor/explorers had travelled down the western coast of Giava (mainland Australia) into the waters below Van Diemens Land (Tasmania). I have used the name Giava above. This is one of many names used during early times to identify the great South Land. Prior to the First Fleet Before the First fleet left England, the king appointed Rev. Richard Johnson, to be the Chaplain to the colonies. He was paid his stipend directly from the Kings purse. This clearly indicates that it was upon the Kings instructions that this nation was to be established on Christian values, laws, and statutes, by the monarchy. He was prayed for by John Newton, the composer of the famous Hymn: Amazing Grace before he left for Australia. That prayer is listed below: The seed you sow in the Settlement may be sown for future generations and be transplanted in time, far and near. I please myself with the hope that Port Jackson may be the spot from whence the Gospel light may hereafter spread in all directions. This prayer was in fact fulfilled within the first 100 years of the establishment of the colony in Port Jackson. Aboard the First Fleet were some 750 convicts from Britains overcrowded prison system. They were bound for Botany Bay, there to establish the first European settlement on Australian soil. The first fleet were the start of the Boat people to come to Australia, however with one major difference. The boat people of the 20th and 21st centuries, leave their countries to escape the terror or persecution of the regimes in power, whilst the boat people of 1787 were carefully chosen by the finest magistrates and judges in the United Kingdom, and sent to Australia because of their crimes. They had no choice in the matter. They were forcibly transported to this nation and deposited in detention centres which at that times, was the whole colony itself. If we look back at this history and our present situation, and the way we handle boat people it is clear we have not learnt very much in the last 230 years. The Early Settlements The first Christian Service was held in Sydney Cove one week after the fleet arrived on the 3rd February 1788 by the Rev. Richard Johnson, Chaplain to the Colonies. It was held under a great big tree with a mixed group in the congregation of soldiers and convicts. The text for that first service was from Psalm 116:12: What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits towards me? 19

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? As we look to the future and Gods vision for this nation, maybe we should just spend a little time reflecting upon this quotation from Psalm 116 verse 12. What should we give back to God, for allowing us to live, and be blessed, in this wonderful nation? Even today, that is a soul-searching message to be received by any congregation. In the next fifty years after settlement, missionaries from Sydney Cove went out to most of the South Pacific Islands converting many tribes to Christianity, including New Zealand. What is the Future for Australia? God has blessed and protected this nation for more than 50,000 years of Aboriginal inhabitance, and then over 200 years, since white settlers arrived here. The Federal and the State Governments of the nation are charged with the responsibility of making laws, which reflect our Christian values and our Christian heritage. If they deviate away from this responsibility, then God will remove His blessings from us as a nation. It is the Churchs responsibility to make sure that this never happens by becoming proactive in governmental affairs, making it clear to their congregations that it is a command of God to pray for our leaders and to make sure that they only implement laws which bring glory and honour to Jesus. The scripture tells us that: Unless the Lord builds the house, those that build will build in vain. If we start to build outside of Gods plans and purposes for our nation, we are inviting Gods instructions, then warnings, then judgement and punishment, upon the nation as a whole, not just the political leaders. I do not want to see any government come to power, that allows this to happen in my lifetime or the lifetime of future generations.

CHAPTER THREE: THE SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE AUSTRALIAN FLAG

There have been many comments lately about removing the Union Jack from the national flag but most Australians would not know how this flag is made up or, its Spiritual significance. THE COMPOSITION OF OUR FLAG - [Righteousness, exalts a nation.] A nations heart is in its flag. The flag is made up of several pieces but most of us, have no idea of their spiritual significance. [Psalm 60:4] says; Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. [Psalm 20:5] says; In the name of our God we will set up our banners. The cornerstone of our Australias heritage is based upon the Bible and Christian truths, which are clearly symbolised in our flag. It is a visual reminder that we are a covenant people, first under law, and now under grace. The Red Cross on a white background is the ancient Hebrew Flag, used by King David. It clearly defines our link to Christ the Line of David, which will have no end. This was the flag of England, from the time of the Romans in 100AD, right up until 1606 and used by the Crusades, from all Christian nations in Europe, as they went to claim back Jerusalem from the Turkish Muslim Empire.

The Flags of Scotland and Wales are added in 1606 This is the same year that Capt. Janzoon in the Dufkyen, mapped 300 miles of the Queensland coastline and Capt. Ferdinand De Quiros claimed this southern region for Jesus Christ, as the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? In fact it was this flag (the Flag of England, Scotland & Wales) which was raised up at Sydney Cove on 26th January 1788 [Not the Union Jack, because the Union Jack was not created until 1806, when the flag of Ireland was added.] The Flag of Ireland is added in 1806, to create what we call the Union Jack today. This flag forms the basis for most flags of countries, who belong to the British Commonwealth.

The Australian Flag at Federation This national flag was selected by a competition, just like the design for the Opera House was selected, by an international competition. That is what makes our flag so special; there was democracy in operation, in selecting our national flag. The stars on the Australian flag represent the Southern Cross our geographic location, and Federation. Five of the six stars have seven sides. Scripturally, the number seven means perfection and completeness. The Colours in our Flag. The three colours of Red, White and Blue were used in the tabernacle in the wilderness for the curtains around the Holy of Holies, according to Gods specifications. The white linen represents the white robes of righteousness, given by the Lord to His people. Red signifies the blood covenant fulfilled by Jesus Christ, and the sacrifices of our troops in many conflicts to keep our country safe. Blue is the national colour of (Ancient) Israel, and of Gods right to rule over mankind. For more information: read Numbers 15:36-41. [Numbers 15: 36-41: Israel was instructed to wear a ribbon of blue as a remembrance to keep Gods commandments and to be holy throughout the generations.]

22

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Gods Signature is on our Flag The Lord said: I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last. This text, is as recorded in the Book of Revelation. These are the first and the last letters in the Greek alphabet, in which the New Testament was recorded. However, Jesus would have spoken to Apostle John in either Hebrew, or Galilean Aramaic (His native tongue). In the Ancient Hebrew, the first letter of the alphabet was Aleph [x] and the last letter was Tau [+]. When placed upon each other, you have the Union Jack. This clearly says: I, Jesus Christ, the First, and the Last, have put my signature upon your flag. The three crosses also signify the three covenants of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ, that God made with Israel. The Genius of God What a wonderful fulfilment, that a flag consisting of the symbols of an invisible hand would be displayed in these latter days, before His return, as a reminder of His covenant with His people. Whether or not the people embrace Him or reject Him, our heritage is Godgiven, and our flag is the history of Gods plan for us. To reject our flag and the Union Jack is nothing more than the rejection of Gods name itself. It reflects our state of heart. To replace it with pagan symbols (trees, kangaroos, etc.) is rebellion against God Himself. To turn our backs on our God-given heritage, is inviting fatal consequences. It is an honour to have these divine symbols on our flag. How thankful our chosen nation should be. We should never allow these symbols of Gods protection to be removed from our national flag.

CHAPTER FOUR: THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE AND OTHER MORAL ISSUES Throughout all of English history, from the time that Christianity was brought to the shores of the UK, right up until today, (in 2011), the English traditions, which have been transferred to Australia with the First Fleet, is to respect the sanctity of marriage and all other Christian moral values. Marriage is defined as a holy estate, between one man and one woman, as laid down in the New Testament Scriptures. With the influx of migrants from other nations, their respect of marriage has been encouraged, and they recognise and follow the laws of this land in relation to marriage, just like people born as Australian citizens. We have seen that promiscuity and homosexual behaviour have now challenged the scriptural basis for marriage, as these radical groups try to implement laws for same sex relationships to be recognised by Australian State & Federal Governments. These groups want same sex relationships to have the same religious rights and privileges, as a married couple, as defined in the scriptures. This means that they want the right to have legal relationships approved, which are specified as an abomination in the sight of the Lord, as it is written in the scriptures. This means that they now want Australia to rebel against Gods laws and glorify satan.

If this law is allowed to be past in Australian states, or in the Federal Government, this will be a major departure from our Christian heritage and values, and we can expect to be judged and punished for it, irrespective of whatever our spiritual beliefs maybe.

It is the responsibility of every Christian within Australia to advocate loudly, the retention of the present definition of marriage and the present laws, which preserve this holy estate. The Homosexual Movement We have seen a major shift in focus, as homosexual groups, ramp up their voices and efforts to implement same rights for gay groups in all sections of society. History has shown that when nations and empires allowed this to happen, they were doomed for destruction.
24

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

Here are three clear examples: Sodom and Gomorrah, the Greek, and Roman Empires. But today, in this enlightened age that we live in, where we think that we know better than God does, we are going to toss out these wellestablished laws, as laid down in the scriptures, and we are going to implement new laws, so that everybody is free to do whatever they want, with whoever they want, whenever they want. Do you think there will not be repercussions for this action? THE DOWNHILL SPIRAL INTO THE MORAL ABYSS As a result of this so-called enlightenment, there is a wave of drugs sweeping across our schools, universities, and cities. The laws relating to the age of sexual consent are being ignored, and now many young girls are experiencing sex and getting pregnant in their early teens, which was almost unheard of fifty years ago. The level of sexually transmitted diseases is on the rise, and now AIDS kills thousands of people each year across the world. AIDS kills people, but CORRUPTION kills nations. Physical violence in the streets and domestic violence in the homes are both on the rise, with governments and the judiciary unable to find solutions, to reverse these trends. We have seen governments legislate to make it legal to lie in parliament, and advertisers continually bombarding us with ads, which show that it is OK to lie to one another, steal in stores, or from one another. Terrorism is on the increase, despite millions of dollars being spent to try to eradicate it. It is time we woke up to the fact that satan is having a field day in Australia, and we (The Christian Churches) are not saying or doing anything to stop it. There is already a movement to have School Chaplaincy removed from all state schools in Australia. This, in many cases, is the only place a child gets any information about Christian Values. Australians must all wake up and realise that there is a war going on, right here in Australia, right now, for the hearts and minds of our young people, our children, and our grandchildren.

25

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

Whatever they learn in their formative years, will be the norms that they apply, as they become future business leaders, and government ministers, in future governments of this nation. So, what sort of input do you want put into the hearts and minds of your children and grandchildren?

The Australian Muslim Conference has already stated that they plan to make Australia an Islamic nation by 2050. If you want your children and your grandchildren to grow up in an Islamic country, then just sit back and do nothing, because it will happen, as they (the Muslims of this nation) have a vision, and a long-term goal, which they plan to implement. On the other hand, if you look around the world and see all the violence and disturbances in Islamic countries; where there is no freedom of religion, no equal rights for Muslims and Non-Muslims; and where women are treated worse than dogs; then it is about time that you stood up, and start taking back this country for Christian values, laws and precepts. Otherwise, at the appointed hour, there will be judgement for Australia, for their wrongdoing. We can still rescue this Lucky country from destruction, but time is running out.

If this country becomes an Islamic country, it will be because the Christians in this country did nothing, and this will be your new flag. You will have no say in its design, it will be decided by the Islamic Council of Australia, not even the Government will have a say.

26

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

CHAPTER FIVE: WHAT TYPE OF GOVERNMENT DO YOU WANT IN 2050?

By 2050, the nation will have been governed under the Westminster System of laws and democratic government, for one hundred and fifty years. This is more than enough time for all Australians to identify the good points and the bad points of this system, and to decide if they still want to be governed under this system or not. One of the issues that have already been raised in the 1990s, and again in the first decade of the 21st century, is whether Australia should remain as a monarchy, with the Queen of Australia being our sovereign head of State, represented in her absence by the Governor General, or whether we should become a republic. This serious issue must be calmly discussed, and then voted upon in a referendum. Once it is decided (one way or the other) the issue should be acted upon, (or left at the status quo), for at least another fifty years, to allow the nation to get on with the business of becoming the greatest nation in the South Pacific. Another issue, which has also been raised, especially in Queensland, after the amalgamation of many types of councils, into large regional councils, is whether it is more cost effective to remove the state governments and fund the regional councils directly from the Federal Government offices in Canberra. This funding to be administered through Regional Development Boards, made up of nominated representatives from each council within the region it controls. These bodies (in my view) are indeed better suited to make cost effective planning decisions for their regions, as they have more up-to-date data, than decision-makers do, in glass offices, in each capital city, or in Canberra itself.

How the Commonwealth moves from a three-tiered governmental system back to a two-tiered governmental system, will in fact be one of the greatest challenges facing future leaders in Canberra, on both sides of the parliament.

Because of this change, there will have to be universal laws right across the nation, as well as nationally recognised educational curriculums, up to leaving certificate standard. Medical and hospital procedures will be the same, irrespective of locations, as well as nationally recognised doctors and nursing registrations. University standards must become the same, right across the nation, with a wider range of opportunities for students to study subjects in other states, which previously may not have been available to them. 27

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Because of the review of the legal system, to standardise all laws across the nation, laws that are still on the books in some states since colonial days, will have to be updated and/or repealed, to bring them into line with the latest Federal legislations and United Nations guidelines and/or recommendations. Similar reviews will apply to many other disciplines as well, for example: The Railway systems of all the states will have to comply with a common rail gauge and signalling system, so that fast rail services can travel across state borders without any delays. This is very important in times of military crisis, and/or national disasters, or emergencies. There will be many other issues, which must be addressed, in this next period of forty years. Here are just a few OTHER TOPICS to get you thinking.

28

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

CHAPTER SIX: HOW SHOULD GOVERNMENTS HANDLE NATIONAL DISASTERS?

Because of the latest series of disasters, in several states simultaneously across the nation, and the need for the Federal Government to gain access to large amounts of support funding, this issue has now been raised at the State and Federal Levels. How this money is raised, administered, and distributed, will be the subject (I hope) of serious discussions and debates, before the draft legislation is passed into law. Unfortunately, we have seen that some governments do not appear to be as honest as the Australian people expect they should be, with donated funds from here and overseas donors. One state government even had the nerve to say that interest received from donated funds need not be used for the same purpose as the original funds that were donated. This has left a sour taste in many peoples mouths, and they are now more reluctant than ever to give to government managed appeals. It remains to be seen how the $286 million dollars given to the Queensland Premiers Flood Appeal are distributed and administered. If the public perceives that this money was administered in a compassionate, merciful, and proper manner, then similar amounts will be raised to cater for future disaster events. However, if this is not the case, then governments, right across this nation, will be faced with a dishonesty image that will take generations to change. The sooner this matter is decided, the quicker the country can insure itself from further disaster traumas, where people lose their houses, have no place to go, and have to wait weeks (instead of days) for Government departments and/or Insurance companies, to process their claims.

The fact that there is not a standard definition for what defines Storm and Tempest, Flooding, or other water induced, or destructive damage, across all Australian states, needs to be urgently legislated by the Federal Government, so that insurance companies cannot squirm out of their duty of care, or their perceived legal obligations.

For example: If floodwaters enter a street of houses, then it is not OK for one insurance company to pay for the damages to one house, but other insurance companies to use their legal skills not to approve claims to other houses in the same street, affected by the same floodwaters. This is now what is happening in Grantham, Ipswich and parts of Brisbane, as well as other towns and cities across the nation. 29

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? Australia is known as a country, which recognises a fair go. There is nothing fair about the actions of insurance companies in the examples I just espoused, as they refuse to pay out on claims. I believe they have a perceived legal responsibility and a duty of care to do so. I suggest that

Any insurance company that fails to pay out on claims in these recent disasters, should be blacklisted by all Councils, State Governments and the Federal Government, and not be allowed to receive any business from taxpayers funds.

Another issue, which will need to be addressed, is the attitude of some public servants, that they work a 9-day fortnight no matter what the circumstances are in the nation, especially in disaster times. It is interesting to note that in Queensland, during and immediately after the floods and the cyclones, the Military, the SES, the Police, the Ambulance and Fire Rescue Services, and many volunteer organizations, were all working in disaster mode, performing their tasks 24/7, to help the victims of these disasters. On the other hand, public service personnel, processing the claims of these same victims, were still working their nine-day fortnights, as if there was nothing to worry about. This approach to disaster management is not acceptable and will have to change. In future disaster management situations, all hands on deck, will be the order of the day, to make sure that whatever paperwork needs to be processed, can be effectively, and efficiently completed, in the minimum amount of time, to meet all circumstances in a compassionate and logical manner. To give you an example of the two different approaches to disaster management, I recount the following eyewitness account. On the 10th January 2011, the inland tsunami hit Toowoomba, the Lockyer Valley and later flooded Ipswich and Brisbane. Within the first seven days, a group of churches in Toowoomba had got together, helped clean up the Central Business District of the city, with the help of Council workers, the SES, the Rural Fire Brigade and many willing volunteers. They arranged semi-trailers of emergency food hampers to be packed in Sydney and shipped to Toowoomba, for distribution to needy families across the region. Within that first week, over twenty tonnes of emergency food aid was packed in Sydney, transported to Toowoomba, and distributed to needy families in the

30

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? following towns: Grantham, Helidon, Gatton, Laidley, Toowoomba, Oakey, Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles, Condamine, Roma, and Taroom. These deliveries were not made by paid government workers, but by willing volunteers. This was followed up by an additional forty tonnes to these same cities as well as St. George in the next two weeks. A total of over 120 tonnes of food were delivered in the first 6 months after this tragedy in the Darling Downs alone, by volunteers. Similar efforts were recorded on TV shows across the country, as thousands of volunteers joined forces to help clean up Ipswich and Brisbane. During this same two weeks, the Queensland Premiers Flood Appeal raised over $286 Million dollars to be distributed to flood affected victims. The Qld government was so slow performing this task, that only $12 million was distributed out of the thousands of applications received in the first 3 months. Complaints from affected families caused this issue to be raised on national television programs. Why was that necessary? Because the management of the people assigned to these tasks, sat upon their backsides, or took their rostered days off, without any mercy, compassion, or concern for the people affected by the catastrophe. This situation has now got so bad (3rd March 2011) that farmers and householders, who are still unable to get access to these funds, are attempting suicide, as they no longer can handle the stress of no place to live, no funds, no income, and no response to their plight, from the responsible government departments. They even have to rely on volunteer organisations to feed and clothe them. Where are the tent cities to house these affected people? We give the aid money to build these emergency towns after disasters occur overseas, why not here at home in Australia. It was done for the Black Saturday Bushfires, why not for the Queensland floods and cyclones. When I was growing up, I was taught, Charity begins at home. Maybe the government should be staffed by volunteers, as they have proven they can get things done, more quickly and more efficiently, than public servants can. I personally believe that if somebody actually dies, because of this government inefficiency and mismanagement, there is a good case for charges of manslaughter to be levelled at the appropriate Government ministers, at both the state and federal levels. Remember, under our laws and government systems, nobody is above the law, not even Governor Generals, as history clearly point out.

31

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? The way disasters are managed in this nation needs a complete overhaul. Only then, will the level of respect for the government be restored. A disaster situation should be the one time all Australians should be able to rely on their governments, irrespective of which political party is in power.

CHAPTER SEVEN: DO YOU BELIEVE THAT CLIMATE CHANGE IS REALLY HAPPENING?

Statistics clearly show that there is a gradual increase in the temperature of the land and seas, and that climate, and seasons are changing. Most scientists agree with these facts. The problem gets messy, when you try to attribute causes to these changes. Some scientists believe that this is part of a natural cycle, which has been experienced upon the earth many times, over the last 20 centuries and therefore the world will correct itself, so there is no need to do anything. Others believe that humanity has had a direct impact upon climate change, by our development of industries and transport systems, which generate and emit large amounts of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. As the custodians of this planet for future generations, if we caused this problem, then we have to take responsibility for its correction, at an international level. How we do this has already resulted in two largely different international symposiums, that achieved very little, except generate many tonnes of hot air, to add to the growing climate change debacle (debates). As a citizen of this world, I ask. How do YOU propose to combat Climate Change? It would appear that every party in politics, here in Australia, has a different viewpoint on how to address and implement changes to correct this problem, before it gets out of control. Some believe that it is already out of control, and action must be taken immediately. Others adopt the traditional Aussie approach. Shell be right mate. No need to get your knickers in a knot, it will all work out in the wash. Unfortunately, this approach does not solve real problems. I leave the reader, with these questions. a. How do YOU, propose to combat Climate Change? b. Have YOU really thought seriously about this issue? c. Is YOUR house within a one-metre storm surge, above the present high tide levels? i. Remember, in Cyclone Yasi, the storm surge was seven metres above the normal high tide levels.

32

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? ii. These events are predicted to occur more often in the next forty years, than they did in the previous forty years. iii. Therefore, how safe is YOUR existing house? iv. Should YOU be planning to move to higher ground, so that YOUR children will be safe? What should the government do now, about stopping the building of new houses, and/or resorts near the beaches, etc. due to predicted rises in tidal levels? It is predicted that by 2050, there will be an appreciable reduction is our coastline, as sea levels rise, and erosion and sea wave actions claim back thousands of hectares of coastline into the sea.

How governments deal with this NOW, as they start to design their Master Plans for the next forty years, will greatly influence our economy, our lifestyles, and the safety and security of our infrastructure and standards of living.

33

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

CHAPTER EIGHT: OTHER GOVERNMENT SERVICES

As the government identifies and deals with the predicted influx of boat people over the next forty years, it will affect, and influence many of the government services we take for granted. Below are just a few that comes to mind.

1. What type of education do you want for your children or your grandchildren?
a. Do you believe that taxpayer funds should be distributed to Private Schools, and if so, on what basis should the distribution be made? b. Do you want your children to be taught in a school, that has formal discipline or do you want your child to be free, to disrupt the class, by doing whatever he/she wants? c. Do you want the teachers to be allowed to discipline your child, for wrongdoing, or let them get away with whatever they do, without any restrictions placed upon them for bad behaviour? Remember the scripture tells us; if we spare the rod, then we spoil the child. d. Do you want a formal learning experience, with set subjects for each term, or do you want your child to learn only what he/she are interested in? e. Do you want religious education to be a mandatory part of the school system? If so, what religion do you want taught in the schools Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or atheism. f. Do you want your child to be taught about sex education: i. In primary school, or ii. In High School, iii. or taught by somebody in the local shopping mall at the sex shops, or R rated video stores. g. Do you want your child to be given set examinations, or be assessed on in-class performance and the results of their assigned homework? h. Do you want to have guidance counsellors assess the skills and aptitudes of your children and advise them on possible career streams, or do you want your children to make up their own minds. i. Do you want your children to enter a TAFE administered course, or go on the university? j. Do you think that all teenagers should do mandatory time in the Military services, for say two years, so they get to understand discipline, authority, and responsibility/accountability, by doing worthy, practical projects, which help the community?

34

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

2. What type of Medicare system do you want?

The Medicare system has now been working for many years and it provides reasonable care to all Australians, with limits on what services can be provided instantaneously in hospitals. As a result, there are long waiting lists for medical intervention, if the service is deemed to be non-life threatening. This has resulted in the Federal Government imposing a levy on all taxpayers over a set yearly income, if they do not take out private health cover. Unfortunately, with the rising health care costs, rising faster than the Consumer Price Index (CPI), many families are finding it more difficult to keep up their private medical health care payments. Over time, this will put more and more stress on the Medicare system. As the population of Australia changes its age distribution, a higher percentage of elderly people will be forced onto the Medicare system after their retirement. This will also place increased pressures onto this system. Because of these facts, it is time for the government to issue their white paper on future planning for the Medicare System, explaining how it proposes to service 40 million people on Medicare by 2050.

3. What type of superannuation do you want?

The Federal Government has legislated that nine (9) percent of the gross salary paid to any individual in Australia, must be paid to the employees nominated superannuation fund, by his employer. This concept has worked successfully until now, but there are some financial planners, which state that 9 % is not enough in todays financial climate and that the percentage rate should gradually increase, until it reaches 12 %. Younger people today will reap the benefit of this compulsory superannuation pension when they retire in twenty or thirty years time. Unfortunately, there is a generation of people who are retiring, or just about to retire, who do not have a payout from any superannuation funds. They will have to rely on the old-aged pension to live on into their twilight years. Do you think that these people, many who have worked for fifty years (or more), and paid thousands in taxes, should only get the pension to live on? Do you think that this is a fair go? Therefore, what sort of superannuation system do you want to have in place in this nation?

4. Should pension plans be means tested, or available to all retirees?

Following on from the subject of superannuation above, do you think that all retiring people should be entitled to receiving a pension, or should it be means tested? 35

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? If a family has been frugal with their life savings for 30-50 years, and have worked, and wisely invested their income, instead of going to the pub and the races every week and squandering their money, should they now be penalised by a means test, to decide if they can receive the pension, or should we just pay the pension to the one who squandered his money and pay nothing to the responsible person who wisely invested his money? Do you think the present pension system and methods of deciding who gets a pension is fair for all taxpayers? If you believe, it needs to change, what suggestions are you going to write to your local Federal member of parliament?

5. Should politicians be limited to three (3) terms as members, then they must retire to allow somebody else to stand?
There are many countries who legislate limited terms for politicians, so that people do not get entrenched and so that there is always viable government in place. We have seen that some politicians are elected in Australia, and remain elected for periods of over 20 years. It is true that these politicians bring stability to the parliamentary system, but they are less likely to be proactive and suffer suggestions of change badly. Many become like ostriches, they put their heads in the sand, and hope that the problems will go away. Unfortunately, this is not an effective or efficient form of government. I would like to see parliament enact a law, which limits the number of consecutive terms a politician can be elected to the government to three terms. This means that every electorate would have a change of politician representing their electorates, at least every twelve years.

6. Should hybrid and/or electric cars become mandatory for families after 2020, with diesel vehicles being only allowed for "industrial use" or long-haul transportation?
As more and more people start to think of ways they can reduce their carbon footprint and help resolve this ecological disaster, the question is raised about how we should plan our future vehicular purchases. It is said that most Australians replace their cars every 4-5 years, so the question you must consider is what type of vehicle you will choose, as your next vehicle. Will it be a gas guzzling high performance V8, with more than 10 litres per 100 Kms, or will you choose a more fuel-efficient car?

36

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? The more conservative people will stay with what they know and choose a petrol, or diesel driven vehicle. The more ecologically conscience, will choose a hybrid, or an electric car to reduce their carbon footprints and their fuel bills. As these vehicles become more cost effective and their volume sales increase, there will come a time when the Federal Government must bite the bullet, and legislate that all passenger cars must be hybrids and/or electric vehicles by 2020. This gives the manufacturers enough warning to plan and implement procedures to meet these new design standards in Australia. It is also a suggestion that tax incentives be given to vehicle manufacturers, who manufacture these vehicles in Australia. This will continue to guarantee that the Australian Motor Vehicle industry has a viable and stable future. Long Haul vehicles will still be allowed to use high performance diesel engines, but with more stringent carbon emission targets. The most preferred option is to legislate that all long-haul transportation of produce be only done by rail, with semi-trailers only being used for delivery and collection from the railheads, from the suppliers, to the wholesale distributors.

7. Should politicians superannuation "ordinary workers"?

funds

be

different

to

We know that politicians get a very good superannuation policy, which pays many more times the value of an ordinary employee, on the same salary. a. Why have we allowed them to get a better deal than the rest of us? b. Is this democratically correct, or are they taking advantage of the system. c. Why do they have this advantage over the average worker?

8. Should politicians retain free travel benefits after they are no longer members of the Government?
We know that presently the politicians keep many of their benefits after they step down from parliament as politician. As the years go on this is becoming an ever-increasing burden on the taxpayer. It is suggested that in future, there must be legislation put in place to remove these benefits, once the politician is no longer an elected member of parliament. If any person who was once a politician is required to be in Canberra, or any other location to perform political duties on behalf of the government, then they will be re-imbursed for their expenses only.

37

CHAPTER NINE: SHOULD ABORTION BE ALLOWED TO MURDER BABIES IN AUSTRALIA?

It is reported that more than 275,000 babies are aborted in Australia at registered clinics every year. That means more than 750 unborn babies are murdered in Australia every day. If this were happening in a war, on the roads, or from catastrophic events, the whole nation would be screaming their protests out on the streets. But because we have become desensitized to murder of young unborn babies in the womb, we say nothing. Some women claim it is their bodies, and they have the right to choose what they do with the child growing inside of them, to have it, or abort it. To these women I say this: Did you create this baby? Did you have the power to put life into this baby? NO! Therefore, they must get approval from the Creator, if they want to take this life, because it does not belong to them at all. They are just the appointed carriers of life. The Department of Community Services takes people to court, if they harm a child, after it is born, but they do nothing to protect the life of the unborn child in the womb. If these babies were not aborted, then every 3.6 years, another one million Australians would be born, thus greatly reducing the need to have immigration levels set so high. We complain and protest about the holocaust, where the Nazis in Germany, murdered 6 million Jews during the Second World War, but turn a blind eye to the murders going on in these same registered clinics here in Australia every day. Some would say that that is hypocrisy of the highest order. The Ten Commandments tell us not to murder, but we have legalised it in the Abortion laws. I proclaim and prophecy that God will judge our nation for this act of rebellion against His Divine Laws. Remember, we all have to give an account of our actions (and lack of actions) before God one day, but unfortunately when that time comes, there will be no opportunity to change our ways, or repent of our mistakes. That time is now! Even those people, who claim there in no God, they will have to give an account before Him on that day, because the scripture tells us that; every knee shall bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord. Even the Muslims, who believe the Jesus Christ is a prophet, have not read their own Quran correctly, because Mohammad himself makes this statement: Jesus (son of Mary) into whose hands I place my soul, (for safekeeping) He will come back and rule and reign over all Muslims, as a just ruler.11

Hadith # 42 and Hadith # 65

38

What is your vision of Australia in 2050? If He is coming back to rule, then Jesus has authority. If Jesus is coming back to reign, then Jesus has a kingdom. If Jesus has a kingdom, then Jesus Christ is not a prophet, but a King. Even their own prophet had this revelation, but it is not taught in madrassas or mosques today. Can you imagine how humbling and daunting that will be? By then it will be too late to change your ways. There must come a time when Righteousness is brought back into the mainstream of the church, the parliament, and the nation, because judgement starts in the House of God. Until that time comes, this nation will continue to suffer the 10 plagues of Egypt, and God will continue to withhold His total blessings from us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is a well-known verse of scripture. IF My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN (and only then) I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, and will forgive their their sins and heal their land. Gods response is conditional on this nation following these simple steps. a. Humble themselves (from the Prime Minister down to the least in this nation) b. Pray for forgiveness. (All of us, not just the church people) c. Seek the face of God Himself. d. Turn from our individual and collective wicked ways. Until we apply it in this nation, we will never be free of the trials and tribulations that the Lord has allowed to befall us.

What is your vision of Australia in 2050?

CHAPTER TEN: MY VISION FOR AUSTRALIA IN 2050

So you have read the messages and got to this point in the book. I believe you have been challenged with questions that need action and answers, so that this nation can be a better place for your retirement, for your children, and your grandchildren. But I am sure that you are curious what my vision for Australia in 2050 will be. I came across this statement in an old bookshop. It is a saying by Don Basham, date unknown, which I believe is a great vision for this nation, so I support it.

A Covenant Community A community of Gods redeemed people, bound together in covenant love, submitted to compassionate authority and rulership, and manifesting peace, holiness and family fidelity, expressed through revered fatherhood, cherished woman, and motherhood, with secure and obedient children. A community where loving correction and instruction produces healthy growth and maturity, where dedication to excellence, produces the finest results in Arts, Crafts, Trades, and Commerce, providing prosperity and abundance to all of its members. A community of faith, worship, praise and a selfless ministry, manifesting individually and corporately the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit. A community where all life is inspired, and directed, by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and is lived to His glory as a witness and a testimony to the world.

You say this is a fairy story, well maybe it is, but as a visionary, I can dream of the impossible, to become the possible, because Gods word tells us that in God, all things are possible! Even a better Australian Nation! Whether this actually happens or not, will depend on YOU, the reader, your children, and your grandchildren. I pray that you are challenged enough to take a stand and try to make it happen. Only history will tell us if you were successful or not.
