V Marketing Plan Products/Services

Classy Stache will offer its customers the best tasting coffee beverages in the area. This will be achieved by using high-quality ingredients and strictly following preparation guidelines. The store layout, menu listings and marketing activities will be focused on maximizing the sales of higher margin espresso drinks. Classy Stache includes printed mustache mugs. Along with the espresso drinks, brewed coffee and teas, as well as some refreshment beverages, will be sold in the coffee bar. Java Culture will also offer its clients pastries, small salads and sandwiches. For the gourmet clientele that prefers to prepare its coffee at home, Java Culture will also be selling coffee beans.

Product Description The menu of the Classy Stache coffee bar will be built around espressobased coffee drinks such as lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, etc. Each of the espresso-based drinks will be offered with whole, skimmed, or soy milk. Proper preparation techniques are of paramount importance for such drinks. Target Market Business Owners & Workers - During the week, most people work early in the morning, so the Caf will open at 7 AM. This group includes managers, factory employees, retail clerks, professionals, tradesmen, laborers, and other food service workers. This group will form the base clientele, as many will be repeat customers. A number of tradesmen have promised to patronize the caf every day. Fast, accurate service will be provided, as these customers often have limited time to eat.

Tourists - Menus will be distributed to the local lodging establishments to encourage their guests to come to the Caf. Advertisements and listings will be placed in statewide and Regional tourist guides and publications. Menus will also be placed at information booths and other spots likely to have tourist traffic. Other The Coffee Shop is located near Universities and Schools. Students there are likely to visit coffee shops on the weekends, on very nice days and during their holiday periods. Flyers will be distributed on campus during those times, offering the students a percentage discount on certain meals and during certain times. These groups are all potentially strong customer segments. The benefit of this mix of customers is that it helps maintain consistent business throughout the year. For example, while tourism is strong all year long in Pleasantville, it peaks during the summer months. Conversely, the student population is not as strong during the summer as it is from September through June of each year. Also, by appealing to several market segments, Classy Stache does not become overly dependent on any single consumer group. For example, several local coffeehouses with primarily student customers do poorly during the non-school months. They must also market themselves anew each year to the incoming students. Classy Stache will avoid these peaks and valleys in business with a mix of customers. Strategy and Implementation Summary Classy Stache's marketing strategy will be focused at getting new customers, retaining the existing customers, getting customers to spend more

and come back more often. Establishing a loyal customer base is of a paramount importance since such customer core will not only generate most of the sales but also will provide favorable referrals. Competitive Edge Classy Stache will position itself as unique coffee bar where its patrons can not only enjoy a cup of perfectly brewed coffee but also spend their time in an ambient environment. Comfortable sofas and chairs, dimmed light and quiet relaxing music will help the customers to relax from the daily stresses and will differentiate Java Culture from incumbent competitors. Sales Strategy Classy Staches baristas will handle the sales transactions. To speed up the customer service, at least two employees will be servicing clients--while one employee will be preparing the customer's order, the other one will be taking care of the sales transaction. All sales data logged on the computerized point-of-sale terminal will be later analyzed for marketing purposes. In order to build up its client base, Classy Stache will use banners and fliers, utilize customer referrals and cross-promotions with other businesses in the community. At the same time, customer retention programs will be used to make sure the customers are coming back and spending more at the coffee bar. VI Financial Plan MARKET STUDY Classy Staches market has a huge potential. And marketing would increase potential demand with excellent distribution, different marketing programs, and

many more. The programs consist of creating Classy Stache merchandise, tarpaulins, posters, brochures, and ads. The salable market is offered commercially to customers and potential investors. Distribution is also through a variety of processes that promotes excellence in both product and services of Classy Stache. In line with the products, services are also required. The usage of equipment and production of products by the employees are needed. Not only employees, but also tutors are vital for progress. The tutors should be skilled and very knowledgeable on every matter about his/her subject area for the understanding of the customer. Production would be roughly costing.
