Finished size: approximately 47" x 28" Materials: 2 Balls of Cebelia (Art. 167GA) 1 ball of Cebelia (Art. 167G) Approximately 79" x 59" wide-striped blue and white cotton Approximately 79" x 59" of narrow-striped blue and white cotton Approximately 59" x 47" of dotted cotton Approximately 59" x 59" of stuffing of your choice Instructions: BLUE HEART: Using the blue 800 or 799 yarn, make a base chain of 3 sts. Continue in hdc using the diagram as a guide. Cut the yarn at point A. Attach the yarn at point B. At point C, finish with an outline of sc in blue 800 or 799. Cochet 4 hearts this way. STRIPED HEART: Proceed as for the blue heart, alternating blue 800 or 799 and white, as shown in the diagram. Finish with an outline of sc in blue 800 or 799. Crochet 3 hearts in this way. Finishing Touches: Using the diagram as a guide, cut out of the three cotton fabrics 15 squares approximately 10" x 10". Arrange the squares as desired, then join them by sewing a seam approximately .4" from the edge. Sew the hearts on the front of the quilt, filling them lightly with polyester wadding or cotton to give them volume. Cut approximately a 48" x 29" rectangle out of the striped cotton and the polyester wadding. Place the wadding on the reverse side of the front of the quilt and attach with big machine stitches around each square. Place the back and front of the quilt face to face. Sew both pieces together by stitching approximately a .4" from the edge, leaving an opening of approximately 12". Pink the corners and then turn the quilt the right side out. Close the opening with small invisible stitches.
