These 64 sounds will be saved to your Triton's E bank. ( First--BACK UP WHAT'S THERE NOW! ) This set of free programs was created over a period of 4-5 months. I've always liked the sounds of the Mellotron, Fairlight, DX-7, D-50, and other classic keyboards. This collection is my attempt at emulating those, plus Ive included some other sounds as well. I hope you enjoy them--it was a fun project! By the way, I didn't program arpeggiations--any that exist within the sounds are purely random. Thanks for downloading the collection. Why I started this project? After playing the Triton for quite awhile, I began asking, "Are there more sounds for it?" The expansion boards seemed a bit pricey, so I asked my music dealer if there were sounds available on floppies by third-party developers. His response was, "We don't carry any." Well, he lost a sale. I searched the Internet and found a few web sites selling various soundsets; one site in particular was offering a "buy one/get one free" deal. I ordered two sets. But, when I downloaded the sounds and loaded them into the Triton, I wasn't impressed. And this particular sound developer had been recommended by KORG. Hmmm... Shortly after this experience, I discovered the Irishacts web site and found a treasure of FREE sounds to download. What a surprise! Most of the sounds were better than the ones I had purchased...and there were LOTS of them too. After downloading and using many of the sounds, I decided to create a set of my own for the Triton. This contribution is my way of saying "thank you" to all the programmers who have shared their efforts with me and others at Irishacts. Enigma: Part 1 is a unique compilation of programs I created from scratch, plus modifications of various factory presets and downloaded pcgs. But...none are from the disappointing soundsets I purchased online.
