*****Change Log***** ==================== v1.

4 * JSO Support added along with all different combinations of conversions * Delete input file added so you can automatically delete the image your conve rting from * You can now get the program to browse to the location of the output for you after conversion * Gradient effects removed to stop the annoying FM20.DLL bug that made the com patibility of 1.3 really low. As far as I am aware only Windows 98 will need additional softwa re and thats vb6 runtimes, and I could include a DLL to get round that problem however it's 1 .3mb so i decided not to. v1.3 * .NET FRAMEWORK IS NO LONGER NEEDED!!! It is not written in VB6 again instead of vb.NET * GUI has changed slightly because of the change in languages * Batch Support after conversion to vb6 is very buggy and has been removed tem porarily I am aiming to implement this feature again in future versions and hopefully implement it better than it was in version 1.2. * A help link has been added which links back to the official PSP ISO Compress or forums * A menu has been added and shortcut keys have been assigned * Now avialable in both normal files form and in an installer form. v1.2 * The popular GUI has been completely overhauled hopefully making the program even simpler. Download and see for yourself. Opinions are welcomed!! * Added Batch Support!! You can now select multiple files when seleting an inp ut file. LIMITATION: If you do select more than one input you can NOT change the defa ult file name and location of the multiple outputs. * Code migrated to .NET! Sorry, but you will now need to install .NET Framewor k 2.0 to use this application. Internet Link comes with the application. * Migration also eliminates the need for the COMDLG32.OCX File needed by the V B version and should also stop the rare bug in which Windows would claim that "You do not have the appropriate license to use this fucntionality" which i believe came from the COMDLG32.OCX dependancy * Completely rewritten when migrated. * A system tray icon has been added with pop up ballons alerting the user how many images have been converted upto now during batch conversion. It also replace s the messagebox that told the user the comperssion was complete. * Reverted to using lowercase extensions. VB.net has better string handling an

d has allowed me to control the situation better v1.1 * Added support to convert .dax<->.cso automatically. * Code cleaned up and reordered. * Fixed bug where trying to convert an iso image with an extension in capital letters e.g. GTA.ISO or gta.ISO as with a few case the program would not automatical ly change the extension to the new format e.g. .dax meaning that you were trying to ov erwrite the original iso with the compressed one causing the program to crash and a 4kb .iso file to be created. NOW ALL EXTENSIONS ARE CONVERTED TO CAPITAL LETTERS BEFO RE ATTEMPTING TO CHANGE THE EXTENSION. This means all iso's will appear as C:\m yumd.ISO even if the extension is not in capital letters normally. v1.0 * Release Version *****Description****** ======================= Firstly I would like you all to know that this is my first development EVER. I am only 16 and am quite inexperienced with VB (no qaulifications fully self ta ught etc) This program is written in VB. This small tool will allow you to convert your standard iso images into .dax fil es or .cso files. It supports all compresion levels and NC areas of .dax files. You will need daxcr.exe, zlib1.dll, ciso.exe and COMDLG32.OCX (not version 1.2) in the same folder (all included) as the psp iso compresser.exe file. This proje ct is written in vb6 (vb .NET from version 1.2 onwards) If you are running windows 98 you may need to download vb6 runtime in order for the program versions below 1.2 to work. On all versions of Windows you will need to upgrade to .NET Framework for versio ns above 1.2. I am sorry that this is neccessary but it was the only way for me to implem ent the newer features. Many thanks go to Dark_alex and booster for their compression formats and their loaders. If you notice any bugs please feel to contact me the email address is on the abo ut section of the program.
