Lesson plan Teacher:Barbu Lucica Date: the 28th of May 2013 Class: 3 A Time: 50 Lesson:Food and Drinks Vocabulary

Competence: to write words and short sentence to take part in simple dialogue used in every day conversation to understand sentence in simple context

Lesson aims: check pupils knowledge Recognize and use food vocabulary. to identify the new words to use those words in simple dialogue to be capable to use them in new circumstances

Stages 1. Warmer: - Teacher salutes the pupils and asks them how they are feeling. She checks absents and whether they had homework or not. - the students correct their homework if necessary 2. Pupils are introduced to the topic of the new lesson. Teacher writes the title of the lesson on the blackboard and presents the main activities of the lesson Time:5 Activity 1 -The Teacher revises the vocabulary related to Food and Drinks: The teacher tells the Student they have studied vocabulary in the categories of food, drink, fruit and vegetables and writes the 3 categories on the blackboard.Then the Teacher shows the Students pictures with drinks, fruit and vegetable and the Ss have to name the pictures.Them the teacher puts the pictures on the blackboard in the categories estabilished previously. Interaction: T-ss Organization:class work, individual work Time:10 Activity 2 - T. asks the Ss to write on their notebooks a fruit, a favourite vegetable and a verb.After that he asks them to complete the following text with the words written on their notebooks, in the mentioned order: I like to eat potato and......, but I eat honey and....I always like to ..... with the milk. - Ss must write a fruit, a vegetable and a verb on their notebook and after that to complete the respective text.In the end they will be amused by the sense of the respective sentences from the text. Interaction:T-Ss Organization:individual work , class work Time:10 Activity 3 -the Teacher comes back to the blackboard and tells the Ss different words naming the pictures from Activity 1.The Ss who know the answer come to the blackboar and stik the name of the food under the picture. Organizaton:class work, individual work Time:10 Activity 4 - The teacher asks the pupils to work in pairs. They are supposed to make questions about their parteners. Interaction:T-Ss, Ss-Ss Organization:class work Time:10

FEED BACK

- The pupils are asked to solve some exercises relevant to the topic. In this way, the teacher
checks whether they have understood or not. Time:8 HOMEWORK

- T. asks the pupils to make a new sentence with each of the new word. Ss write the
instructions on their notebook.
