Introduction
Introduced in 1996, the Atlas bridge system combines Mabey Bridges expertise in plated steelwork with its extensive experience of proprietary steel decking systems. A lightweight superstructure combines with rapid installation and maximum use of pre-fabrication at the factory to make Atlas the ideal bridge system for both urban and rural areas.

The Atlas system is ideal for shorter span permanent bridges on main highways and minor roads, and for flyovers to provide congestion relief in inner cities.
