On 6th June 2013, Russian President Putin announced that he is divorcing his wife. They got married on 28-July-1983. At the time of marriage, the Vimsottari dasa is Jup/Sat/Ven/Sat/Moon. At the time of divorce announcement, the Vimsottari dasa is Sat/Jup/Mer/Mer/Moon. Moon lord of 12th house and residing in 2nd house (owned by Mercury) and cojoined with Saturn, played a silent important role during both the events. The current Mahadasa is Saturn. Sade Shani period began when Transit Saturn entered Leo (2007-June-25) and ends when Saturn leaves Libra (2014-Nov-15).
