Traveling with Ananda Marga on a spiritual journey

Baba Nam Kevalam - "Love is all there is" . This is the simple truth I have been witnessing wherever I go within and without, In the spiritual family as well as in society. I have been blinded by that love. I can't make anymore discrimination. I continue listening to Baba Nam Kevalam universal mantra wherever I have the possibility, witnessing every time big or small miracles. And Baba, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti knows it and as he told many times "Parama Purusa cannot resist to the call of His devotees. He has to come in a physical form". And He does it as I could witness in Villa Hermosa, Mexico one month ago when a new person after few minutes of collective kiirtan with Baba Nam Kevalam candidly told that "after we finished singing your Guru was here standing". I asked for confirmation "Was He dressing in white?" The answer was yes

Mexico is not different from USA. Devotion knows no boundaries. It is only through devotion and selfless service one can realize how society is One and Indivisible. The mental closeness that we feel and experience in the form of joy and happiness gradually transforms the external world. Only that spiritual bond will help us to overcome any difficulty that we may encounter. Once we learn to treasure more our

inner love against our external comforts or privileges we are bound to come together and enjoy the bliss with it. Shall not we delay wasting time and opportunities With Love in Him Acarya. Vimaleshananda Avadhuta. Public Relations Secretary - New York Sector

Prison Yoga Program I was a Psychologist/Counselor for the California Department of Corrections for 26 years, beginning in 1983. I was able to submit a program for approval to the Director of Corrections in 1999 to allow me to have a regular yoga/meditation program developed by and for prison inmates. Our program was approved in late 1999 under the umbrella of the SAP (substance abuse program) on a maximum level prison yard at sierra conservation center, Jamestown California. We called our program the Inner Awareness Group thereby avoiding any religious connotation. The supervisors of the SAP also approved the program as a therapeutic tool in combating substance abuse. Recipe of the Month - Roasted Chickpeas Roasting cooked chickpeas in a little oil first briefly on the stove and later in the oven leaves their insides tender while adding crunch to their exterior; they make both a great side dish, topping for a salad, or a great out of hand snack. You can flavor these in a variety of ways. After you take them out of the oven, you dust them with smoked paprika and cumin or with a little chile powder, curry powder, or other favorite ground spice mixture, or drizzle with a little extra-virgin olive oil, some lemon juice, and a lot of black pepper. Prabhat Samgiita N. 3577 (15/06/1986) D O Lord, You are the sandal of paradise. The earth drifts on Your fragrance. You are the nectar in the lotus flower. The bees all want to have You close. You are like the monsoon screwpine flower. You are the campaka flower in the flow of cognition, drifting along a maddening sonorous breeze. The glow of Your beauty sparkles in the unit, in the Cosmic, in the stars and in jewels. The string of nebulae in numerous trails
rolls on Your lotus feet overflowingly.

Last Saturday I went for the first time to Granbury. After a 2-hour drive, I reached the town of about 6 thousand by a beautiful lake. I located the Rancho Brazos subdivision, the area hardest-hit by the deadly tornado, classified as an EF-4 of a maximum EF-5 on the Fujita Scale.16 tornadoes hit the North Texas area, and this one had winds of 166-200 mph. "Kra is also called Mohana [literally, attractive] because He charms everyone and attracts everyone towards Himself. A devotee does not like to be with Him in the presence of others, but wants to enjoy the intimacy and sweetness of being with Him alone. Such a devotee does not like to think that He belongs to everyone, but to him or her alone. But when the devotee and He are alone together, does the devotee then think, He is all mine? No, the devotee then forgets what to say to Him, and becomes oblivious to himself or herself.

When people are self-conscious, hundreds of questions arise in their minds. Only when that self-consciousness merges into Parama Purua, do the questions come to an end. Because in the presence of the Entity who is beyond all questions, the devotee becomes selfforgetful." - - Shrii Shrii Anandamurti
