SILICON VALLEY STALINISTS (GAME, SET AND MATCH TO THE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS)

GOOGLE, FACEBOOK SOLD YOU OUT TO BIG GOVERNMENT THEN LIED TO YOU ABOUT IT.
Posted as edbutt on Bubblews, June 09th, 2013 When news broke of the U S Government's massive surveillance of e-mails, web transactions and cell phone activity the power crazy billionaires of Silicon Valley were quick to deny that their organizations had any involvement. Given the track record of these creeps on honesty, nobody should have needed to be told they were all in up to their nacks on the scam. I mean, Bill Gates, puh! He's the guy you may remember who has told us that every new generation of Windows was great. And they were all not fit for purpose from our POV. From the perspective of Microsoft and their business partners however these packages did exactly the job they were intended to. Each was so clunky and full of bugs Microsoft has to load millions of patches and fixes so that our systems quickly became so bloated we had to but new, more powerful hardware. Every generation was so full of loopholes for hackers and malware merchants to exploit we needed new security software. And by the time we had all that, our desktop was so incompatible with legacy software we had to buy later versions of our favourite packages. I admit to having an advantage here, having been a computer consultant I thought ahead and simply kept my old drives which I slot into a docking station and thus I can load up Win 98 if I wish and use my old software. (the latest Windows I have is XP, I went Linux after that). The whole Windows / Internet thing has been the biggest scam ever, with a decent operating system 90 per cent of people could do everything they will ever want to do on a Pentium 2. I know, I run Linux on a ten year old system for my photo, music and movie editing.

Given that the whole scam has been pulled off with the complicity of governments it was obvious that at some stage government would call in the favours. It is not a new thing, have a look at what Project Echelon (set up in the 1990s) is about. www.character-education.us/echelon.htm Of course the internet companies were in on it. Government (your tax money) bought them the hugely expensive infrastructure for their search and social networking businesses. So when Facebook's Zuckerberg and Google's Larry Page stepped forward to deny having given your private data to government agencies, apart from the fact that neither of the semi autistic little nerds would recognise the truth if it ran up and kicked them in the cobblers, it was obvious they were lying. Well it was obvious to someone like me, if the Pentagon can't keep British and Dutch geeks out of their servers, let alone Chinese, Russian and Iranian spies, Facebook andGoogle, with their clunky sites built by script kiddies rather than veteran programmers who know how computer systems and networks work are not going to be able to keep the Government out. Zuckerberg and Page caught out in PRISM data mining lies But as I said, these companies would not try to resist the government, they are all far too cosy with each other. The reason governments have sunk so much money into building the internet infrastructure is because the technology, even before the www was launched, offered the potential for total monitoring and total control of the information we see. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE IDEA OF FINANCIAL PRIVACY?

Posted on Bubblews as edbutt on May 30th, 2013

Not long ago I posted a report here about the near - criminal Payday Loans industry, their usurious interest rates and implacable pursuit of defaulters. I have never had any dealings with loan sharks so

a little research was necessary, a few clicks and I was ready to write. Since then, although I gave no personal details to anybody I have received a steady stream of invitations to apply for payday loans, to apply for credit cards available to people with bad credit records and other financial services. How do they know me? Well I might have given no details but financial businesses are big time miners of private data from our computers, and they share information, sometimes with very unpleasant people. This trend for stealing our privacy is growing and is becoming institutionalized. At the most recent meeting of the G-20 group, central bank chiefs, finance ministers, and a motley crew of other international bureaucrats were promoting what they hoped would be a new "global standard" of the automatic sharing of financial information. The USA and the EU led the way as they always seem to on this forced march back to fascism. The US version is the FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) This sounds reasonable enough, we all hate those super rich hiding their money offshore to avoid tax don't we. The EU version of this law is more obfuscatory but amounts to the same thing so we'll just talk about FATCA. The problem with both is they put the burden of proof on the accused. We have to prove we do not have an offshore account rather than the tax authority being required to show grounds to suspect that we do and that we are using it illegally. This particular bit of bureaucratic nastiness came from the UK Inland Revenue, now the Revenue and Customs Dept. which has always worked on the principle of guilty until proved innocent. It is an approach that echoes the style of justice meted out by medieval witch hunters. Through FATCA and other financial reforms, the America government and European Union commission are aggressively seeking new ways to undermine financial privacy. Financial privacy should not be viewed in a negative light, as it is often portrayed. The Swiss view it as a fundamental human right to preserve dignity, akin to medical privacy. How would you feel if the government snooped into your medical records and automatically shared those records with foreign governments? Tough, they do. The stated aim of this new "global standard" is to rake in more money for bankrupt governments but if we step back and look at the bigger picture it there is a hidden agenda. FATCA will not raise significant funds for governments, estimates predict it will bring in for the USA around $9 billion over 10 years or $900 million on average per year. European financial institutions have provided no information on anticipated returns. With the deficit in 2012 for the US federal government at $1.1 trillion, the expected $900 million from FATCA is about as significant as a little child weeing in the ocean (actually around one-tenth of one percent). So, it begs the question: Why would the US and European Union governments go to trouble of implementing FATCA if it's going to bring in such a piddling amount of money? Here's where the hidden agenda begins to emerge; the primary motivation here is control. The "global standard" is a path that will put governments around the world one step closer to being able to track and control every penny you earn and every penny you spend. Think about the recent legalized robbery in Cyprus when the EU raided savers banks accounts to fund a bailout of failing banks. FATCA also fits comfortably with the global . war on cash.

To us ordinary punters, the fat lady has sung and the show is over. We can either stuff our cash in the mattress and sit around while inflation erodes its value or we can leave it in the bank and wait until the government comes along to steal it. This are a tad different for the rich. While governments around the world and particularly in the US, are putting obstacles in the way of moving assets offshore there are still plenty od legal loopholes open. You'll find the latest information on the best of these in the brand-new special report Going Global 2013, a comprehensive, 114-page guide packed with advice from renowned experts in international gold storage, opening foreign bank accounts and IRAs, second passports and living abroad, the best foreign currencies to invest in and plenty more. TWO STORIES THAT SHOW HOW THE BANKSTERS PLANT TO CONTROL YOUR CASH AND
HOW YOU SPEND IT

Posted as edbutt on Bubblews, May 21st, 2013 I have written many articles over the years about how machines and technology are talking over our lives. Slaves To The Machine is a keynote article for all my websites and blogs and new stories bringing more evidence to support the predictions I make in it are emerging constantly. Two new ones appeared this week. First, reports that a new generation of contactless debit cards are double billing shoppers for goods they have already paid for with cash revealed there have been a string of complaints from unhappy and unexpected hard up customers.

all the complaints report money was taken from their contactless payment cards even when the cardholder had not tried to use them, at stores belonging to several large retail chains including global giant Marks & Spencer. The latest spate of phantom charges comes after similar complaints from shoppers at other stores and outlets. The contactless cards are designed to be readable to point of sale devices without having to be put through a card reader. In theory the cad can be read while two inches (5 cm) from a contactless reader but in practice the devices can read cards up o 12 inches (30 cm) from the reader, that is while they are still in the card holders bag or wallet. Shoppers say the Marks and Spencer cards, called Smile cards (not very appropriate) were charged without their permission while they were paying with a standard bank card or cash. The system, which can be used for goods worth up to 20, is supposed to work only when the cards are placed within two inches of special terminals at the checkout. Really I can't see any advantage in these, if you have to put the card within two inches of the reader what's different to using a swipe card? A technology fail I'm afraid. Meanwhile large retail chain such as Wal-Mart, Target, Tesco and Carrefours are planning on using biometric identification for management of goods (not sure how that will work?Do corn flakes have biometrics?) while hoping to incorporate the biometric checkout where customers can use their fingerprint or retina to pay for their items without having to use their credit/debit cards or write a check, but as fingerprints are largely discredited as evidence in law because too many are similar, and as contact lenses are so cheap these days, can you imagine the chaos it may cause? Corporate executives say that by having employees scan their fingerprints into a corporate database, retail corporations can reduce theft and eliminate payroll confusion; however many independent experts think this initiative is really about collecting biometric from customers data to store and use at a later date. Ah now it makes sense, just another way to con us into surrendering our privacy. IBM has already introduced fingerprint scan pads for ThinkPad Notebooks and eye recognition is used in security applications. Further generations of biometric technology are being developed in laboratories in universities and privately-funded institutions across the globe. The day is approaching rapidly when we will all be forced to have RFID chips implanted under our skin in order to be able to buy anything. And still there are plenty of naive, gullible people who think the government and glbal corporations are benign and trustworthy and anyone who questions them is a conspiracy theorist. WAR ON CASH BEGINS, IT IS NOT ABOUT KEEPING YOU SAFE FROM MUGGERS

War On Cash

The war on cash has moved up a gear with news this week that the French Government has made it illegal to send cash in the form of paper money or coin, and precious metals by mail. The ban covers not just the regular mail service but insured and registered packages. You may have noticed a push by governments in collaboration with banks and big business to force us to do all out business electronically in some way. We're not just talking online shopping here, every electronic transaction leaves a data trail that organizations with the resources of Google, the big banks or the NSA / GCHQ data centres can easily track. It is still possible to use cash for most transactions but getting more difficult. When news of the US Government's vast electronic surveillance of citizens activities both internally and cross border broke this week it was disappointing to see civil liberties charities shrug and say, "so what, it is no threat to liberty?" (not surprising however when you consider these organizations are charities in name only, what we in the UK call QUANGOS, Quasi Autonomous Non Governmental Organizations - they rely for income on government controlled funds. Did you ever play join the dots games as a child? Or play with your kids maybe? Put lines between the dots and a big picture emerges. That's what we have to do. Yes it's true that the government cannot listen to all our phone calls or read our emails, but it is very easy to build a picture of our activities from what they can collect - provided they can collect that data on everything we do. Now people who think they are Information technology experts have been falling over themselves to assure everyone cellphone metadata (collected by US and European governments) is harmless. Erm, it's not quite the same as metadata you might have seen in the 'head' section of an html page. The metadata for a telephone call contains calling line information like caller's name and number, billing information and account details, enough in fact to get a smart hacker into your account on the service providers system. From there they can access bank details and much more. Ever had a conversation with a call center clerk who you've never met or spoken to but who knows a lot of personal details about you? That stuff is all called up from the database along with your

entire transaction record the moment your calling line information hits the receive port on the call handling system. It's fifteen years since I was setting up these things on MITEL and Eriksson systems linked to Unix data servers, technology has become more not less sophisticated since then. People who can gather call metadata can learn a lot more about you than you want them to. So armed with that knowledge, see what you make of the French ban on cash by mail. Here's a snippet from the story: 'It was not announced by the government and not covered in the media. There were no communications and nobody in the government justified or explained this decision. The legislation says that the insertion of banknotes, coins and precious metals is prohibited in mailings, including the insured items, registered items and items subject to formalities certifying deposition and distribution. " Some have suggested that the decree is to limit what is known in France as the anonymous market, the market in which no taxes are paid and people are free to trade without the supervision of banks and government.' Read more on that story: (the original source Gold Core is a very technical page for precious metal traders, there's a lot of trade info to be ploughed through to find the France cash report.) It is truly war on cash. The French government is ahead here but things Barack Obama and David Cameron have spoken of in recent weeks suggest the USA and Britain are not far behind. Think it through, with the technology that exists, they only thing that can prevent governments and their corporate partners tracking every transaction you make is cash passing from hand to hand, no electronic data transfer, no paper trail, no questions asked. Protect you liberty, use cash where you can, while you can. And then barter. RELATED POSTS: Being Evil? OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SEIZES CELLPHONE DATA

Posting as Arthur Foxake: The Daily Stirrer June 7, 2013 A top secret court order granted in April, but hushed up by the Obama administration and mainstream media until now, shows that the US National Security Agency (NSA) is collecting details of telephone calls made and received by customers of Verizon wireless network. The order, obtained by the Guardian, shows that the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court granted the U.S. government the unlimited authority to obtain the records of all telephone calls in their system within the United States and between the U.S. and other countries.

While it was already known that Verizon handed over records with no resistance despite the dubious legality of the request, this newly released document reveals a much more massive level of surveillance carried out on bahalf of US government agencies. The court order doesn't allow the NSA to collect any information whatsoever on the contents of phone calls but it would be almost impossible to transpose such vast amounts of digitized speech into searchable data. What's covered instead is known as "metadata": the phone number of every caller and recipient; the unique serial number of the phones involved; the time and duration of each phone call; and potentially the location of each of the participants when the call happened. What few people know is the metadata also contains information that would allow a hacker access to the users account details. All of this information is being collected on millions of calls every day every conversation taking place within the US, or between the US and a foreign country on the Verizon network is being collected. The government has long argued that this information isn't private or personal but then the Obama administration has recently said your children belong to the government and your DNA belongs to the government. The data collection is not personal information, but rather "transactional" or "business" data, there's no need to show probable cause in order to collect it the government says. This is just not true as anyone who followed the News International phone hacking trial in Britain would know. The view that because certain information is available to the person receiving the call, the data is in the public domain is not shared by privacy advocates. Groups such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation say that by knowing who an individual speaks to, and when, and for how long, intelligence agencies can build up a detailed picture of that person, their social network, and more. Read more on the story in the linked article from Activist Post, "Verizon ordered to give NSA information on all U.S. phone calls in its system," from Madison Ruppert, Activist Post. 'THEY' WANT |TO GET UNDER YOUR SKIN: ELECTRONIC TATTOOS TO REPLACE PASSWORDS AND PIN NUMBERS?

The latest idea the neo - Nazi science tits have come up with the help their master Our New Unhappy Lords keep tabs on where we are and what we are doing twenty four hours a day, 365 days a year, no weekends, no holidays is an electronic tattoo. And according to the advance publicity you will not be able to log on to the Internet, access public services or use a debit or credit card without one. That may sound insane and a step too far along the road to fascism to many of you, but the technology already exists. RFID tattoos have existed for quite some time, and they are already being used on animals. So no problem making them work, all the fascists have to do is persuade people to accept the idea. How to do that? Simples. Just persuade the kind of people who think it is kewel to pay twice the price for a smart phone that will do what any ordinary smartphone will do because it has an Apple logo that RFID tattoos are the latest kewel fashion and all the kewel people are getting them. And the rest of us? Jesus said there are two kinds of people, sheep or goats and He was here to save the sheep. Napoleon Bonaparte said there are two kinds of soldiers, sheep and goats, sheep must be driven but goats can be led. Bonaparte was only interested in the goats, to him the rest were cannon fodder. Well the New World Order can fight with Jesus for the sheeple, Bonaparte is dead, so like goats always have, I guess we can make our own way. We might not get the toys and gadgets but at least we will not be slaves. Read this Activist Post article then I will tell below you how to disable RFID devices.

There is a lot of bad information about RFID chips on the web. The government have not been liaising with aliens to develop this technology, it is terrestrial and very simple. Disabling an RFID chip in a credit card, company ID card or passport can be achieved by hitting the chipped item with a hammer, piercing it with a nail or a screwdriver or sticking it in the microwave for thirty seconds. Obviously those items are useful to us and it would be counter productive to destroy them. Simply putting the suspect item in a Faraday cage (i.e. wrapping it in metal foil) will stop it exchanging signals with monitoring devices. In the case of implanted chips, you would not want to hit yourself with a hammer or cook yourself but it is still easy and very cheap to deal with RFID chips. Rare earth magnets called Neodymium magnets will nullify chips and can be bought online from retailers like CMS magnets or magnets4less (both USA) or emagnets or first4magnets (UK) Neodymium magnets are known as the strongest in the world and the kind available for less than $1 from these suppliers can lift 10lbs of steel. Locate the chip on your body and use surgical tape to fix a magnet in place with the north pole to your skin. A compass will tell you which side of the magnet is north. For chips close to the skin surface leave the magnet in place for 24 hours, for deeper chips (in you back, thigh, butt or implanted in large muscle masses) for 48 hours. This is probably far longer than needed but no sense taking chances. And a final reassurance, I don't have financial interest in magnet suppliers or manufacturers :-) RELATED POSTS: Total Surveillance Society Soon What Is All That Aid Money Really being Used For Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Sold You Out To Big Government Then Lied To You About It.
