Step 1 Anti-Friction Disc Place Anti-Friction Disc on the Center Peg of the 5th Wheel.

Step 2 Attaching 5th Wheel to Front Frame Hold Anti-Friction Disc in place while inserting the 5th Wheel's Center Peg into the Peg Hole in the Front Frame.

Step 3a Securing 5th Wheel to Front Frame While holding 5th Wheel to the Front Frame, insert 2 1/2" bolt through Peg Hole into the 5th Wheel. (You may have to tap it all the way in place)

Step 3b Keep bolt in place and lay Front Frame/5th Wheel assembly on a flat surface. Look inside the 5th Wheel to see the bolt threads. Place the washer on the threaded end of the bolt, and then secure the hex nut.

Step 3c Use T-Wrench (included) to screw self-tightening nut to the bolt. (Tighten the hex nut until you can feel friction when you turn the 5th Wheel against the front frame.)

Step 4 Completing the Frame Assembly Insert Rear Frame into Front Frame and close completely. (NOTE: The Snap Buttons will lock the frames in three positions. Simply press these buttons to allow frames to close - or open - as desired.)

Step 5 Axle Assembly Prepare BOTH axles by affixing only one cap on each axle. Place an Axle End Cap on a solid surface and firmly insert an Axle into the opening. (Gently tap the top end of the axle to drive the lower end into the end cap.)

Step 6a Mounting the Super Wheels The Super Wheels have a bulging 'inside' and a flat 'outside'. Insert the Axle (with one End Cap attached) through the FLAT OUTSIDE center of a Super Wheel.
(WARNING: Failure to do this step properly will result in damage to your Mighty Max Cart and will void your warranty.)

Step 6b There are holes in the 5th Wheel and Rear Frame Assemblies, specifically designed to accept the Axles. As shown, insert the Axle (with Super Wheel) through the 5th Wheel struts.

Step 6c With both wheeled axles in place, turn assembled parts on wheeled side, with the wheels resting on a solid surface. With the bulging side towards the cart, place Super Wheels on their axles. (Make sure that the FLAT SIDE of each wheel FACES OUT.)

Step 7 Place an End Cap on the Axle end and using a hammer - gently tap it towards the Super Wheel. (CAUTION: DO NOT overtighten the end caps. The Super Wheels should spin freely.)

Step 8a Attaching the Lower Handle Turn your nearly completed Flatbed in a normal wheels-on-the-ground position. Insert the Y-shaped end of Lower Handle into the two slots in the front of the 5th Wheel. (Make Sure that the black arrow on the lower handle is facing the black arrow of the front 5th Wheel.)

Step 8b Insert the long Plastic Bolt through the 5th Wheel and the Lower Handle. (NOTE: You may have to wiggle the handle to align the holes.) You can tap the 4" long nylon hex bolt through with a hammer if need be.)

Step 8c Slip the Plastic Spacer over the threaded end of the bolt, then Tighten the Plastic Wing-nut on the Plastic Bolt until Wing-nut is firmly in place. Even after the nut begins to turn tightly, make sure you tighten the hex nut until handle has friction when you move it up and down.)

Step 8d Completing the Handle Insert the Upper Handle into the Lower Handle, as shown. Pinch the Snap Button to let the Upper Handle slide into and lock into the first position.

Optional Hitch connects two Carts together, or connect behind lawn tractor

Step 9. Attaching the Stacking/Tilting Tub With Your Mighty Max Cart in a normal wheelson-the-ground position, Set the Rear Pegs of the Tilting Tub into the Rear Peg Slots in the Rear Frame. Lower the Tub to insert the Front Tub Pegs into the Front Frame Peg Holes. Apply light pressure to all four corners of the Tub to fully seat the pegs. NOTE: This Tub will tilt like a dump truck and can be easily lifted off the frame. You also may stack up to three tubs to separate different loads.

Step 10a. Using Cargo Walls The Mighty Max Flatbed has a square hole in each corner. Slide the short legs of the Cargo Walls into the two square holes of the flatbed cart on either side. They fit snug. Add the Optional Tool Rack on any one of the three sets of elongated holes on the rear Cargo Wall to hold fishing poles or other tools. The Large outer Holes on each end of the Tool Rack line up with the two large cup holes on the rear of the Flatbed.

Step 10b. Installing Cargo Walls Insert the Short Ends of each Cargo Wall into the respective Square Holes in the Front and Back of the Flatbed. This creates vertical Cargo Walls to hold loose loads such as firewood, ice chests, sporting gear, picnic and beach supplies, etc. Cargo Walls may be used in any of the carts three adjustable lengths. You may wish to use heavy duty tiedown or bungee cords to help secure loads.

Step 11. Installing Tub on Cargo Walls Put Mighty Max Cart in its Shortest Length. Set Tub on the Tapered Tops of the Cargo Walls. Press Down on the Tub Corners to securely Seat Tub.Now you have a DoubleDecked Carrier.

By connecting two Mighty Max Carts in tandem, you can transport lumber, rolls of carpeting, and other very long items.

Optional Additional Tubs can be stacked or nested to carry different items or cargo in one trip. Swing handle 180 to store.
