Training program for 20 best distinguished students 08.00 09.00 09.00 11.00 Breakfast Participants are divided in 5 working groups. Trainers facilitate work in groups. Groups act as political parties and draft relevant programs for achieving gender equality and specific action plans. Groups present their work to the panel of judges and other participants The judges comment and decide on the best program Coffee Break
Participants are divided in 5 working groups. Trainers facilitate work in groups. Students act as activists of civil society and members of group of interest. The issue: Political parties have violated the legal obligation for respecting gender quotas in general elections of June 2013. Group discussions: What can you do? Draft an initiative.
Presentations of work in groups 17.30 18.00 18.00 19.00 Coffee Break Students draft individual Back Home Plans on achieving gender equality in their respective communities. A letter to myself! What will I do for achieving democracy, rule of law and gender equality in my community, within one year from today? The letter will be mailed to each student one year after the event. 19.30 Dinner and social events
