The CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the
days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. (Psalm 27:4)

Weekly Theme: “The Taiwanese Ministry ”

1. Pray God for the five major ministries of the cell group: “To draw closer to God”, “To lead
people to Christ”, “To support the mission”, “To adopt orphans”, and “one-to-one Training”
2. We are thankful for the pastorship of Pastor and Mrs. Way; Pray God to send holy wisdom
and ability to His people for His use in His work.
3. Pray God to equip more brothers and sisters to have a breakthrough and discipleship in
prayer, outreach, mission and teaching.
4. Pray God for the family, physical and spiritual well-being of coworkers.
5. Pray God for the revival of the gospel, leading people to Christ, being a faithful steward,
and building up the body of Christ.
6. Pray for the four current church’s key goals: church expansion, church planting, pastor
search, and new elder nomination.
7. Pray God to help us to have a watchful and prayerful heart for the following mission
organizations and missionaries that we support financially:
Organizations:
Far East Broadcasting, Chinese Gospel Broadcasting Center Inc., CASA.
Missionaries:
Jim & Ruth Lemaster, Dr. Titus Loong, Rev. Lieu S.P.
Safety and peace of those brothers and sisters who are serving on a short-term mission.
Seminary student: Joy Huang ( Fuller)

--- English Ministry:

1. Pastor Manny will be preaching on Sunday. Please pray for him.
2. Pray for revival meetings scheduled for next weekend.
3. Pray for preparations for short-term missions this summer.
4. Pray for the promotion and preparation for Memorial Day Weekend Retreat.
---Youth Ministry:
5. Motive. Pray that people would come with a desire to know God and be known by Him, and no other
reason.
6. Understanding. Pray that people would understand that relationship with God comes by His grace
alone, not by any good works (including baptism). Pray that they would really recognize their
sinfulness and uselessness without God, and embrace the love of a Savior who would love and
embrace them anyway.
7. Baptized Youth. Please pray for those who were baptized this past Sunday. Please pray for their
relationship w/ God and that they would be “men and women who are not worthy of this world”
(Hebrews 11﹕38).
