Inst.H.- E. Comp H., the colour of your rob-Purple – is

an emblem of union, being composed of blue and crimson,
the former of which is the appropriate colour of Symbolical
Masonry, and the latter of the R.A. It instructs you that the
harmony and union of the Chapter should be your constant
aim, to which end you are studiously to avoid all occasions
of giving offence, or of entertaining any subject which
might create dissension or division in the Chapter and by
every means in your power endeavour to establish
permanent union and good understanding in the different
Orders of Freemasonry.

And as the glorious sun at its meridian height

disperses the mist and clouds which obscure the horizon, so
may your exertions dispel the gloom of jealousy and
discord whenever it may arise.

Inst.H. (continues)-Youtr Sceptre bearing the “All

Seeing Eye”, (pointing to H.’s Secptre) is an emblem of
vigilance. It instructs you to stands as a watchman on a
tower, to guard the Comps. and admonish them to fidelity
and Industry.

Let it at the same time be a faithful monitor to

yourself, so that when the Great Watchman of Israel, whose
eye never slumbers nor sleeps, shall relieve you from your
post on earth , you may be permitted to participate in that
happiness which will never end.

(The installing H. and H., both resume their seats.)
