It was an alliance between eight communist states between eight communist states during the Cold War. It wa signed in Warsaw under the urging of the U.S.S.R.

An unreasonable fear against foreign or strange things. For example, the U.S. has xenophobia against the Communists, which created the Red Scare.

Writing that exaggerates important events to appeal to the readers. It was used during the Spanish-American War.

The telegram was sent to Mexico by German foreign minister Arthur Zimmerman. It offered an alliance against the U.S. if war broke out. This was one of the reasons why the U.S. went into World War One.
