Poly Fuser QR
Creating effective and controlled diffusion within a specific frequency range has always been one of the greatest challenges for acousticians. With regard to this, Vicoustic has developed an optimal curve that creates an elliptical diffuser producing effective scattering. Poly Fuser QR is made entirely of wood. A quadratic residue sequence is combined with a curve allowing diffusion pattern in 2 dimensions (effective between 400Hz and 5kHz). When the diffuser is placed in a vertical position, the quadratic residue sequence will effect / determine the diffusion on the horizontal axis. The curve will effect / determine the diffusion on the vertical position. Because Poly Fuser QR is made entirely of wood, greater diffusion effects can be achieved at lower frequencies. Diffusion is an excellent solution for comb filtering problems, response cancellation and slap echo problems. In addition, diffusion gives a sense of spaciousness to music by addressing the issues without over-deadening the acoustics. Designed for hi-fi rooms, venues, houses of worship, conference centres and music rehearsal spaces, or any other space where acoustic treatment may be required.

WaveWood Pro
The WaveWood Pro is a spin off of Vicoustics flagship WaveWood panel and has been specifically developed to treat acoustic problems in large areas without destroying a rooms ambience, or over-deadening the sound. Combining a longer wooden surface with slightly slimmer acoustic foam, this panel can be used in public spaces, performance spaces, speech rooms, classrooms, etc Its instantly recognizable design results from unique research based on the acoustic properties of the wood and foam combined with non-linear sequential cavities that enable WaveWood Pro to act as both an absorber and diffuser. It is particularly effective in treating medium and high frequencies as well as solving issues such as flutter echoes. WaveWood Pro can also be highly effective in controlling low frequencies when fitted in the corners of a room and used as a bass trap. The panels elegant design enhances the visual appearance of any room, with five different wood finishes available to match a range of speech rooms and public spaces. Visquare
Visquare is designed to perform on medium and high frequencies giving an absorption effect. The effect occurs when sound energy passes through the perforated foam. Vicoustics research has revealed that perforated foam performs better compared with standard cut foam. A perforated, 40mm thick panel gives the same results as a 70 mm thick standard panel. This is because in addition to increasing the surface absorption, it also works as a sound trap. Visquares holes are specifically designed to line-arise the absorption coefficient spectrum.

Visquare Tech
This acoustic panel consists of advanced acoustic foam technology allowing the highest absorption properties and an excellent fire rating standard. The Visquare Tech can also have a white or black finish and also has a Premium version where the panel is covered in a colored fabric, available in 8 colors. The combination of the acoustic foam and the cover gives the Visquare Tech a fire rating Euro Class B. It is well known that foam absorption is not linear and the higher the frequency, the greater the efficiency. Vicoustics research has shown that there is a particular way to create a flat absorption response with the foam, as seen with Cinema Round premium and now with Visquare, where the foam is non linear. This acoustic panel is excellent for absorbing reverberations caused by multiple sound reflections on surfaces. Such reverberations can increase loudness, making music or speech less perceptible, and thus obtrusive to a theatre audience for example.

Suspended Baffle Tech

The Suspended Baffle Tech is excellent for reducing machinery noise and other sound sources. It eliminates reflections partially or totally, as well as reverberations from the ceiling, or other surfaces. The absorption coefficient depends on the panel configuration, surface distance and panel distance per m2. Vicoustics research has revealed that perforated foam performs better compared with standard cut foam. A perforated, 40mm thick panel gives the same results as a 70 mm thick standard panel. This is because in addition to increasing the surface absorption, it also works as a sound trap, improving sound absorption panel including Suspended Baffle Tech. The Suspended Baffle Tech can also have a white or black cover. The combination of the acoustic foam and the cover gives the Suspended Baffle Tech a fire rating Euro Class B.

VicVibro FS.01

Anti-vibration support for wooden flooring and gypsum board The VicVibro FS.01 is a specially designed homogeneous elastomeric support system for floating floors, aimed to reduce impact noise in wooden floors. The semi-cylindrical modulation at its base increases the deflection, thus improving the vibration absorption.

Application
Reduce impact noise from wooden floors and the transmission of sound through floating gypsum board partitions.

Installation
Wooden floor battens and metal profiles for floating walls (steel frame, metal stud partitions etc) can be positioned in the specially designed receptor and bolted to the lateral flaps. VicVibro FS.01 can then be fixed to the floor or wall using expansion bolts, or inox nails.

VicVibro FS.02
Wooden floor sound insulation The floor pad isolator VicVibro FS.02 has been specifically developed to reduce impact noise from wooden floors. Impact noise refers to the sound produced when a short duration impulse, such as a footstep, acts directly on a structure. VicVibro FS.02 pads are useful for reducing the amount of noise that can be heard coming from an upstairs room for example. They are also useful for improving the insulation of lightweight partitions.

The production of VicVibro FS.02 is based on detailed research carried out at the National Technical University of Athens.

INSULATION LINE

Installation
The pads lower strip is fixed to the floor, or to a secondary wooden batten, using inox nails or an expansion bolt. The main wooden batten is fixed to the pads upper strip using two nails, or one screw on each side. VicVibro FS.02 pads are generally placed in rows 400 mm apart, when the wooden battens themselves are spaced at intervals of 330 mm. The space between the battens should be filled with a sound absorbent material such as rockwool. All isolation systems should be free of any rigid connection to the actual building structure. The floor itself must not touch the wall and should be laid on Vibro-band, a specially designed elastic profile.

VicVibro WS

Anti-vibration support for gypsum board VicVibro WS is a specially designed elastomeric support system for gypsum board partitions. A semi-cylindrical undulating base (WS 75 and 100) and transversal holes (WS 50) provide the space that is necessary for the rubber to expand. This increases the amount of deflection and consequently improves the absorption of vibrations. VicVibro WSs inclining flaps cover the fixing bolts on the base, preventing them from coming into contact with the gypsum board. Applying VicVibro WS to floating gypsum board partitions decreases noise transmission, interrupts heat bridges and helps prevent the build up of moisture between floors and walls.

Installation
VicVibro WS can be fitted to floor or ceiling metal profiles (50, 75, or 100 mm wide U runners), corresponding with the C studs, or it can be placed under the U runner. It can be fixed to the profiles using bolts, and fixed to floors or ceilings using expansion bolts. Sound absorption materials, such as Vicycle or rockwool, should be used to fill empty spaces. The lateral flaps on the VicVibro WSs base have some incisions. This enables them to be easily cut for use with materials that are thinner than the length of the flap e.g. single gypsum board.

VicVibro SWM2

Anti-Vibration wall mountings for partition walls Anti-vibration wall mountings designed to prevent structural transmission and provide maximum structural stability. Highly recommended for absorption of vibrations produced by airborne and impact noise. The lowest frequencies of airborne noise tend to be in the range of 28-30Hz. Impact noise tends to be even lower. The steel spring system and EPDM rubber is specially designed to prevent sound amplifications through the wall structures, where the sound pressure level is between 100dB-105dB (medium/ low frequencies). These units are a must in walls with sizable dimension. Extremely efficient on the low frequency range. The system combines specially designed materials and techniques to achieve better results, and allowing vibration reduction in both directions. It has a security system to prevent the complete collapse of the treatment in case of fire. Extremely efficient in industrial zones.
