A Resolution Requesting the Crusader Publication to Send a Representative to Sit as an Audience in Every Regular Meeting of the Directorate WHEREAS, stated in Article III, Section 1, of the 2005 XU-CSG Constitution, the XU - CSG shall be the highest seat of student governance of Xavier University. Its officers shall represent its constituents in all university bodies and other association, both within and outside of the campus, which directly affect the students welfare and interests . WHEREAS, stated in Article III, Section 5 of the 2005 XU-CSG Constitution, the XU CSG, in exercise of its powers and jurisdiction, shall foster transparency in all undertakings at all levels of governance and encourage participation among its constituents . WHEREAS, stated in Article VI, Section I of the Magna Carta of the Students Rights and Responsibilities for Undergraduate Students of Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, the students have the right to access official and public information on matters directly affecting their welfare. WHEREAS, it is the right of every student to know what the Legislative Branch of the CSG is doing. WHEREAS, the Crusader Publication is an effective medium to bridge the Directorate to the Xavier University Community. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, this resolution takes effect upon the approval of 2/3 of the Directorate members, sitting en banc, and thus requests the Crusader Publication to send a representative as an audience in every regular Directorate meeting. Done this 27th day of May, 2013 at CSSC Office, Room 211 of the Magis Student Complex, Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City, by the 20th Directorate in session assembled.
