Saving our Planet: Green Technology for the Future

If given the chance, replacing the current ways of living with utilizing green technology can be greatly beneficial to the world in the best way possible. Before the human race introduced the world to such horrible toxins and deadly gases, people were going green once upon a time, so its not an impossible task. Going green is the best method to save the planet and the future generation to come, but it is up to the people to resuscitate it and commence the pioneer of a green technological world. Humans have come very far in the technology world, but they are being very insensitive to the fact that due to their anxiousness to see the next big thing and what revenues can be gained from these inventions, the Earth is being destroyed in the process. The commitment to improve ways of living while repairing the Earth at the same time will not only be an advantage for the public and those in the future; but it will also improve the current value of respect to the planet and show the younger generation the importance of taking care of themselves and with what they are given. Utilizing green technology will not only produce employment and better the available resources, but adapting to this change will also allow the

opportunity of saving and making proceeds, reducing the destruction on the Earth, and providing an overall better environment. Most importantly, green technology will progress the health of the living, including plants and animals alike.

Nir Oren said, Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats. Is this why people havent taken on the challenge of going green yet? It should be acknowledged that green technology is one of the best ideas,

with so much and so many to optimistically gain from. People...

Save Water Essay

I feel that the government, national and state, should take a stand in this dilemma and develop a campaign to try to solve it. Conversely, adults have the same problem. Some adults do not bother to go that extra little step to save water, but rather they use more water because of the simple fact that it is easier. A few ways I believe we can get high school students to conserve water is by taking them to a water plant, put them in a simulation of where they have to pay the water bills and deal with the ongoing water problem in the future, and you could show them a projection of what life would essentially be like in 200 years when all of the ground water is used up and we have to find different methods to gather rain water.

One thing that you could do to help kids understand just how complex the water purification and extraction process is take them to a water plant and explain to them about it. You could tell them how water is purified and cleaned once it is extracted from the ground so they begin to grow a form of respect for water and the people who devote their lives to it. Also, you could explain how long it takes ground water to move, and how if it is all used up then it takes even longer to get water and prices sky rocket.

Another idea for getting high school students to want to conserve water is to show them just how much it is. Put them into a situation as if they were adults and they had to pay a constantly rising water bill, while their kids are asking them for a new car. Then they may realize that by conserving water and getting other people to they may gain in other aspects of their life. You may also use analogies such as, if you use a water conserving showerhead instead of a regular one then you would be able to put that money to 3 new shirts, or similar analogies that would make them want to conserve.

The last thing that high schools may try is putting on a demonstration on a computer or similar media, and show them what life would be like...

Cricket

The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth Cricket World Cup. It was played in India, Sri Lanka, and (for the first time) Bangladesh. Pakistan was also scheduled to be a co-host, but after the 2009 attack on the Sri Lanka national cricket team in Lahore, the International Cricket Council (ICC) cancelled that, and the headquarters of the organising committee, originally in Lahore, was transferred to Mumbai. Pakistan was to have held 14 matches, including one semi-final. Eight of the games (including the semifinal) were awarded to India, four to Sri Lanka, and two to Bangladesh. All the matches were One Day Internationals, and all were played over 50 overs. Fourteen national cricket teams took part, including ten full members and four associate members of the ICC. The opening ceremony was held on 17 February 2011 at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka, and the tournament was played between 19 February and 2 April. The first match was played by the Indian and Bangladeshi teams at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. The final was between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. India won the tournament, defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final in Mumbai, thus becoming the first country to win the Cricket World Cup final on home soil. India's Yuvraj Singh was declared the man of the tournament. This was the first time in World Cup history that two Asian teams had appeared in final. It was also the first time since the 1992 World Cup that the final match did not feature Australia.
