Academia is a Student Information System designed to remove the gap between Schools, Parents and Child.

In todays education systems there is an increasing communication gap between parents and their children. The reason's can be numerous. As a result parents are not aware of the activities of their wards. So, Academia is a bridge between the child, parent and management for the benefit of the child. Although the prime focus for this application is parents and to provide them the complete information about there wards and there ease, it also has some wonderful features for school management to manage there enterprise. Academia sends daily updates about the child to on a parents mobile phone along with an email about the same. How the System works: 1) A school registers for this service by contacting Academia representatives. 2) Schools contract is created by the super-admin module and the payment terms and contract details are entered in the system. 3) An Academia representative would then be assigned to the school premises to send daily updates and manage the school and student information. These would be Admin for the school. These Admin ID's are generated by the Super-Admin modules. For a particular school there can be "N" number of admin's generated. 4) The Academia representative then accesses the system, uploads and updates the details of every student in the system and starts sending daily messages to the parents. The parents also have the option to log-in to the system and check every details mentioned in the modules below. Every parent for a particular school should have a unique ID which would be generated by the "Admin". In case, the parents forgets or misplaces his login information he should contact the Academia "Admin" at the school to get his log in details. In case a parent, forgets his password he can get it on his email ID from the application it self. How the payment is calculated ? The Payment is calculated on per student per month basis.It can also be calculate on a quarterly or Bi-annually basis if the school wishes to. Suppose there are 1000 students in a school and Academia charges INR 50 from each student for this service. The system would automatically calculate 1000*50= INR 50000 for a particular month. The super-admin module will then update this payment as received or pending. Minimum Contract Term ? The Minimum contract term for a school is 2 years. This can be increased or decreased on approval. Super Admin Module: 1) Add, Manage and Update school information and contract terms. 2) Add, Manage and Update Academia Admin's name, contact information and also generate the log in details for Admin associated with the school. Admin Module Note : There would be a separate admin panel for every school.(i.e The information of a particular school would be seen only to the person's concerned with the school only.) 1) Add, manage and delete the detail of every student. The system should be able to easily able to filter the students via class, branch, semesters. 2) Add, Manage and Update the Institute details.(for example About Us page of every school) 3) Add, Manage and Update the principals message.

4) Generate the report card for every student via the system. 5) Check the upcoming Exam schedule. (Important Notices ) 7) Add, Manage and Delete the Time table for a particular duration. 8) Send daily messages to the parents. These can be generic messages like information about holidays or upcoming events or individual like behavior issues. The system should have the capability to send this information to particular student, class, section and complete institute by necessary filters. 9) Add, Manage and delete the photo gallery of the schools (Like pictures about a particular event which recently happened in the school) 10) Add, manage the Attendance of every student. To delete necessary security sections should be there. 11) Add, Manage the fees of every student. This can be school oriented. Like some schools collect fees on monthly or quarterly basis. It should the fields such as library fees, sports fees etc. 12) Notice Board- Add, Manage and delete notice board. This can be the notice which the school wants to communicate with the parents, 13) Important News related to the school and emergency numbers in case of emergency. 14) Add,Manage and delete Subject teachers numbers for that particular child's class. Parents Note : Every parent must have his/her unique ID by which he/she would be able to log-in the application. Also Every parent must see his/her ward's details only. The parents must be able to see everything as specified in the Admin module. Just a brief overview is given again below 1) Know About school 2) See what the principal says 3) Download the report card and progress report for your child 4) Check upcoming events and schedules of the school 5) Check upcoming exams and test 6) Check the time table for a semester/month/year 7) Check the attendance of child. (Monthly) 8) Check the fees status 9) Check the school notice board 10) Check the messages and emails sent by school 11) Check what's making news in the school and also the emergency numbers. 12) Check school image gallery 13) Check the subject teacher numbers of there wards. **14) Raise your concern. In case the Parent wants to communicate something to the school or subject teacher they can do it by filling that form and the school management would get an email regarding that.
