MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
Constructed and delivered all the comms and security on schedule to the new train Depot at New Cross Gate for the Balfour Beatty Carillion Joint Venture achieving the high level milestones for the new East London Line Rail Project, this enabled the trains to arrive on programme to the Depot Delivered all 120 stations on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines for as part of the Tube Lines Long Line Interface project for Connect. This was delivered 7 months ahead of schedule and made a project saving of 7.5K for Network Architecture at Tube Lines Delivered the first phase of 90 GSMR sites in Scotland for Network Rail, 5 months ahead of the programme, so that the company could successfully request government funds to complete the next phase of the project. Successful communications refurbishment, modernisation and integration of underground stations into a new working system as part of Londons new modernisation programme for Tube Lines. The delivery of a major new mobile telecoms 3G project in the UK with 400 sites delivered 4 months ahead of the programme for the Three Network. Got built the first mobile network site in Northern Egypt for the company to take paying customers for Mobinile/Alcatel and, resolved high profile issues to get the sites delivered. Delivered the first Mobile cell site and E1 in Lagos for Motorola

Feb 2013 Date Short Term Telecommunication Freelance Work VARIOUS ROLES Working for different companies to help and assist on short term basis to help get various work packages back up to date and help drive teams on site to get the works completed on time and to programme and making sure that everything is compliant to all work task briefs. Recently, Supervised the installation and testing of the trail installation of a number of different IP CCTV cameras set up on the Docklands Light Railway Assisted if required the Senior Project Manager to manage and procure Design Consultants, Contractors and third parties to deliver project objectives Monitoring the day-to-day support for the project activities including contract compliance, risk management, and reporting, document control, assurance and governance. Always Assessing the safety performance of the work on site to minimise risks, develop improvements and escalate issues with relevant authorities in a timely manner

Aug 2012 Dec 2012 Installation Project Services (IPS) PROJECT ENGINEER for the trail stations to deliver the new OPO (One Person Operation) Cameras on London Underground for Earls Court and Gloucester Road. I was hired short term to help get phase 1 of the project started and to assist in the delivery of the installation for the new OPO cameras onto 2 London Underground Stations, Earls Court and Gloucester Road stations, which included the installation of the TX and RX beacon bases along the track, the installation of various cable management route both on and off the track, the delivery and installation of the OPO camera Rack and the installation of the new OPO cameras. Due to the Olympic embargo back in July, Aug sections of work could not be identified. Therefore additional issues were identified and had to be managed so not to affect the overall delivery of all the sites and where required extensions of work have to be put into place to allow us to complete the work to the projects programme.

Task briefs had to be written to cover all aspects of works for the safe delivery and installation of the works.
ITPs prepared and submitted for completion. Daily reports had to be reviewed from the onsite, site supervisors before being submitted to the client. Collating documentation for the V&V report and to populate the Mandatory Asset Information Deliverables (MAID) to enable handover to maintenance . Attending daily engineers meeting to discuss the progress of current work and upcoming works. The ability to manage and motivate the teams well on site Dec 7th 2011 July 2012 Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) SENIOR SITE SUPERVISOR for the new Metro Tram Link Managing and overseeing the signalling and communications works of the principal contractor for the New Metro Tram Link for Oldham to Rochdale line (ORL Phase 3) which included cable and route installation works and the civils for the signalling including installation of Location basis. Also, ensuring that all works carried out were to the correct standards and procedures as per task briefs and method statements. Monitoring the contractors works to Method statement and following all site design and construction guidelines Reporting directly back to the senior management with the findings and recommendations ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance to the program and without causing any major or serious delay to the project. Providing daily reports of contractors activity. Monitoring subcontractor performance with respect to progress and quality on all Implementation projects. Monitoring the programmes objectives and the performance against project milestones, Reviewing and monitoring quality of Site Audit Reports, Site Drawings etc., including the execution documents during site building process from third parties, and solving any issue on site. And identifying snagging issues The new trams were successfully live running along the new line on schedule and will soon be taking fare paying passengers. Feb 11th 2011 1st June 2011 Swann Engineering Group DIVISIONAL MANAGER For reactive, corrective and maintenance works on the O2, Vodafone and MBNL Networks Managing all the antenna rigging reactive works for corrective and preventive maintenance for three of the major mobile network operators, Orange, Vodafone And MBNL. Duties also involved the management of the divisions coordination and planning of the teams based in the Southampton office. Making sure that the designated field engineering teams managed to meet the assigned strict customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of each job. And if the SLA looks as though it is not going to be met I was required to have the ability to be able to mitigate the job so that the company got paid and the client knew what was going on.

Responsible for the generation and the delivery of daily progress and performance reports back to the
customer. Coordinating the deliveries and services with the planning teams to make sure that everything was available to commence work without the possibility of and delay. And identifying any snagging issues that would require to be cleared before final handover Oct 1st 2010 23rd Dec 2010 Ketech Volker Skanska Rail for the Docklands Lights Railway Stratford Extension (DLR6) SITE MANAGER Was brought on to the project on very short term contract to identify and audit any design installation issues and QS are met concerning communications assets: such as CCTV, PA, Public Information Display (PIDs) Automatic People Counter (APC) the installation of WiFi and leaky feeder along the track. Once an issue was identified against the initial design, the design was then red lined and any potential issues or changes were made before they became an issue to the project or putting any delays onto the project, following all site design and construction guidelines Identified quality assurance throughout the works carried out over the 7 stations on the DLR Stratford Extension, logged the quality assurance matter, raised the snag to the necessary teams, monitored it and made sure that it was closed out on the contractual date as per the snagging tracker. March 01st 2010 1st Sept 2010 VITAL Services Group SENIOR LEAD PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER Managing part of a London Underground 4 million framework agreement for work packages throughout the Bakerloo, City, Victoria Lines (BCV) and Sub Surface Lines (SSL). Works include LV electrical works, CCTV, Comms, PA, Signage, Mechanical and Electrical works, Fire, Air Con, L8 and Gas and other works Work packages include surveying, bidding/tendering for works from 2K to 300K, and compiling detailed survey reports to submit to London Underground to win the works. Meeting customer requirements, agreeing deliverables and deliver them to the agreed time, cost and quality Once works have been won. Managing the works to London Underground standards and handing over on completion for acceptance. Managing direct and sub-contract teams to deliver the works to time, cost and quality to London Undergrounds requirements.

Aug 7th 2009 To January 25th 2010 Balfour Beatty Carillion Joint Venture (BBCJV) East London Line Overground Rail Project at New Cross Gate Train Depot Comms Build and Wapping Station Comms Build. SENIOR COMMS CONSTRUCTION INSTALLATION SITE SUPERVISOR / MANAGER Was brought on board the project too drive and deliver the Construction and the Communication installation for all the comms on the new East London Line rail project at the New Cross Gate Train Depot and Wapping station to be ready for electrification and test trains to run. Managing the construction, installation and testing of works from the various contractors, monitored the quality and safety of work and identified any snagging issues during the work phases and reviewed any technical queries. Working directly with the construction and Project Management Team, providing full construction support. Coordinating construction activities for maximum effectiveness to achieve the delivery and commissioning of the core and hyper fibre links, CCTV, Public address and Security Access Systems, Public Help Points, etc . Working with various Project Managers, Site Managers, Field Engineers, and Contractors to provide a cross discipline/cross team approach to coordinated construction activities.

May 2009 Aug 1st 2009 Metronet Rail / London Underground (TFL) COORDINATION MANAGER To manage and coordinate the installation of a new cable route management system along the Sub Surface Rail (SSR) network as part of the new signalling and power upgrade project. To coordinate and have regular meetings with the stakeholders to identify there requirements for new cable route management for assets such as Low and High Voltage Power, Signalling, comms and data cables, and reviewing any Technical queries (TQs) that could affect any works. To complete, submit and review space applications and method statements and the designs for assets to be to go onto the cable management. Managed the pre and post site designs making sure that the designs were carried out to specified requirements.

Nov 2006 to May 2009 Tube Lines SENIOR FIELD ENGINEER Part of TFL s Modification/Refurbishment Programme Managed and supervised a major million Pound communications refurbishment and modernization projects at stations: Waterloo, Canon Park, Queensbury, Balham and Tooting Broadway for the installation of new CCTV, Video Information Displays (VIDs), Public Announcements (PA), and Passenger Help Points (PHPs) Delivered all 120 stations on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines for as part of Tube Lines Long Line Interface project for Connect. This was delivered 7 months ahead of schedule and made a project saving of 7.5K Attending project review meetings with customer and contractor to identify any potential risk and reviewing any technical queries (TQs) that could affect the project and to manage a way forward without causing delay or disruption to the programme. Ensuring that all health and safety on site was followed at all times and no injuries or loss time occurred. Reviewed and monitored the quality of Site Audit Reports, Site Drawings etc., including execution documents during site building process from third parties.
