I learned to become more hardworking person and dedicated to my work in giving information about the advantages of facility based delivery. Can able to understand and correct the beliefs and questions of each them to avail hospital delivery or Rural Health Unit birthing clinic.

RNHeals IV PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED


One my G4P2T2A1L2 pregnant woman from Barangay Salud gave birth to a live baby girl with 2.8Kg. at home, delivered by traditional birth attendant or Hilot on 18th of May 2013 at 11:48 in the evening. She has one history of prenatal checkup last 29th of January 2013 with the following data assessment: Last menstruation Period (LMP)- August 16, 2012, Expected Date of Confinement(EDC)-May 23, 2013, 23 weeks & 5 days of gestation, BP- 120/90mmHg, 55Kg., Fetal Heart Tone(FHT)122bpm on the left lower quadrant abdomen, cephalic in

How problem were Resolved


Organized emergency group meeting in Barangay Hall in Salud at early morning on 20 th of May 2013 among Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries, NHTS, and non-philhealth pregnant women to emphasized that all deliveries can cause potential and harmful complications to the mother and the neonate, and discussed the advantages of giving birth in health facility based or Rural Health Unit birthing clinic such as: Emphasized that all skilled birth attendance will ensure cleanliness during labor and delivery to prevent infection. Recognize and detect complications, and also manage and refer the mother or neonate to a higher level of care when necessary. Provide safe, relax, and non-traumatic care delivery given to every patient. All health professionals will monitor the progress of labor and post- partum for any signs of emergency. Free immunization (Bacillus Calmete Guerin(BCG), and Hepatitis B) for early childhood protection and also newborn screening in the hospital among pantawid members, NHTS, and philhealth members. I did home visit for many clients who didnt participate the discussion to repeat the information. Explained to the group the importance of monthly prenatal check-up because of inadequate check-up among them to secure safety monitoring throughout pregnancy during Monday and Friday every week.
