It is a biochemical modified silicate Its author, W. H. Smith, was nominated to Nobel Prize in Chemistry for extraordinary results in biochemistry that latter went to invention of his products. The prices, with application, are smaller or equal with the prices of membranes. The guarantee for application is 15 years (that is 1,5-5 times bigger than for ordinary membranes). It has been used for waterproofing and protection of concretes and masonries since 1975 and the results are very encouraging: it has been obtained perfect waterproofing. The full waterproofing becomes active after only two hours from application and is for the lifetime of the treated surfaces. After application one can forget of the problems one may face because of wrong designed or applied waterproofing. It permanently seals present and future cracks up to 2 mm in width. The treated surface become as tough as the granite but with the same plastic properties of the designed surface. The concretes and masonries "self heal" during all their lifetime span, any contact with water actually making deeper and stronger the waterproofing and protection effects. Sometimes the application of Radcon Formula #7 is around half of the replacement costs of the original membrane, a budget for membrane is not required, and the environment is a big winner as we dont need trucks loads of failed membrane material for use as land fill. There are thousands of references worldwide and from now there are also in Romania. The is the tehnical agreement nr. 003-02/141-2004 for use in Romania for Radcrete products and Express Integrator as unique importer and applicator.
