Pre-Internship Field Experience

comprehend language ideas thoroughly.

• Planned lessons and taught four individuals the fundamentals of piano theory.

• Picked out and planned music that each student learned according to his/her

Leadership Experience
Supervisor
United Parcel Service, Lansing, MI June 2008-present
• Help employees perfect/obtain our “perfect service” motto by teaching them
the proper methods in loading packages on trucks.
• Monitor employee work by conducting numerous assessments on them during
workday.
• Track damaged packages and locate reasoning behind damage
• Correct addresses on packages that come into the facility incorrectly written
or imputed in the system.
• Compile information on packages that are loaded on incorrect trucks as well
as packages that have the wrong information placed on them.
• Assist full-time supervisors with their jobs.

Food Avenue Manager


Target, Okemos, MI May 2000-May 2003
• Managed food court in the front of the store.
• Ordered products for sale as well as kept a budget for the area
• Was required to train new employees in how to properly run area
• Dealt with customer complaints/concerns pertaining to area.

Swim Team Manager November 1997-February 2000


• Managed Men’s swim team during high school experience.
• Kept track of times and splits obtained by each swimmer.
• Assisted Coach during practices and swim meets.

Personal Interests
My personal interests and hobbies include reading, going to the movies, attending
programs at Wharton Center, swimming, playing the piano, traveling and listening to
music. I was captain of my swim team my senior year in high school and participated
in the swimming program during three years of my schooling at East Lansing High
School. Eventually, I would like to coach swimming at a high school or middle school.
