WORK EXPERIENCE
Presently working with Infosys Limited as Facilities Associate from 1st February, 2010 to till date. Job Profile: Supervision of Guest House Operations: Supervision of check-in, check-out, bookings, complaints and various reports pertaining to Guest House.

To ensure adequate deployment of Front Office executives and supervision of their services at the front desk. Supervision of the bookings according to the levels of employees and their eligibility for the same.

Travel: Implement travel policies and process as per guidelines. Act as a mediator between employees and corporate travel desk. Handling all the queries of employees related travel and cab arrangements. Supervise the night shift cab arrangements. To co-ordinate and make travel arrangements for cabs and ensure that the cabs are provided on time. Compile & compute the utilisation of cabs. Employee Handling: Handle request of employees for official phones and billing for the same. Handling all queries and complaints of employees related official phones, health club, housekeeping activities, and other facilities related things through performance indicators. Handle queries relating to attendance and access cards. Handling all the queries related to accommodation and travel. Vendor Management: Managing the contracts of the vendors. Making the contracts, getting them signed off and putting them into online system. Co-ordinating with vendors to ensure the services are delivered smoothly and on time. Checking the bills, PO numbers and forwarding the same to Finance department for processing. Government Liaisons: Liaison with Chandigarh Pollution Control Board for applying of renewals of various consents and licenses and processes the same in the internal system. Prepare and file various returns and annual reports to the pollution control board. Liaison with the Municipal Corporation, National Productivity council, Chief Inspector of Boilers, Estate Office and State Electricity Board for various issues. Finalise MOEF and pollution control board certified vendors for the safe disposal of hazardous wastes and ensure proper documentation for the same. Housekeeping Management: Supervising the day to day operations of the housekeeping personnel. Supervising the work of pest control services and other housekeeping service agencies. Liaison with the agencies providing the services in the campus. Verifying regular maintenance of equipments. Ensure sufficient manpower is available for the smooth functioning of operations.

Inspect external/internal areas and ensure upkeep, identify and address issues. Track consumption patterns of various items eg. Chemicals, etc. Implementation of various guidelines presented by the corporate in housekeeping activities.

Facilities Administrative Activities: Process vendor bills for domestic travel and cabs. Supporting the implementation of technology and new systems for the department. To suggest and implement cost effective measures for various resources like power, water, paper, etc. Labelling and tracking of assets & materials in buildings. To supervise the timely servicing of requests and complaints. Monitor the operations of the store and stock verification. Provide support in housekeeping activities for various events being held in the campus. Oversee segregation and movement of waste in the campus. General communications to all employees in regards to facilities. Assist during audits and follow up for closure of action items. Health, Safety and Environment(HSE) and Business Continuity Management Services(BCMS): To ensure that all the standards for ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 are maintained. To adopt and implement environment friendly practices. To conduct the EHS activities ensuring continual improvement of the existing systems including resource conservation. To ensure the smooth conduct of Internal & External Audits. To ensure the entire BCMS test plans for example, DG load test, UPS load test, evacuation drills, etc. are carried out and conducted according to the schedule . To adopt and implement measures to achieve yearly power, water and paper consumption targets. Monitor and review implementation of safety norms by the contractor Documentation: To ensure documentation relating to HSE & BCMS i.e. Risk assessment sheets, documentation of all tests plans and uploading of reports, Incident reports and analysis reports, etc. Documenting all the efforts to be implemented to spread awareness about conservation of resources and environment. Monitoring daily consumption of water and power in the campus and looking for variances. Preparing monthly power, water and paper dashboards, Baseline sheets, yearly consumption sheets, etc. Holding safety committee meetings with all the members and documenting the same and following up for the action items. Preparing the Quarterly Management Review Reports.

Following up for the audit action items and updating the same. To liaise with Chandigarh Pollution Control Board for all the licences regarding Bio-Medical Waste, HSD storage, etc. To file returns for CESS, disposal of hazardous waste, etc to Chandigarh Pollution Control Board. To organising events for the staff. To generate performance indicator reports for the department. To coordinate with the different vendors for disposal of Scrap and different types of wastes. To coordinate with vendors for arranging interviews for various positions in Facilities Department.

Trainings: Provide trainings regarding awareness about ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 to the staff. Providing trainings to the housekeeping staff about the awareness about environment and conservation of resources. Training and making sure they adopt environment friendly measures in their work. Liaison with vendors for the scheduling various trainings in the campus. Taking initiatives to spread awareness regarding various environmental issues through trainings. 5 months experience with De Corporate consulting Pvt. Ltd . as a Management Trainee (recruitment executive) from 16th August, 2009 to 28th January, 2010. Job Profile: Understanding the profile given by different companies. Look out for the data for suitable candidates from different sources. Speak to them and check their fitment according to the profile. Shortlist them and arrange an interview with the client. Take feedbacks from the client and follow up from the candidates for submitting their credentials. Take follow-ups from the client regarding the joining formalities of the candidate.
